I was charged 30.83 and 28.33 for items I didn't get on TikToc

We recently attempted to open a shop on TikTok and were met with an extremely disappointing experience. While we were in the process of setting up our account, TikTok abruptly closed our shop, citing "Suspected Fraudulent Activity" as the reason, despite the fact that we had not even started our business operations.

In response, we immediately contacted TikTok support, expressing our willingness to cooperate fully and provide any necessary documentation to prove our legitimacy. Unfortunately, instead of offering support or a fair investigation, TikTok assigned 48 violation points to our account without any clear explanation or evidence. We were informed that our shop would not be reopened, and we were also banned from creating a new account. This decision was made without a transparent process or an opportunity to present our case, leaving us frustrated and without recourse.

We find TikTok's actions to be deeply concerning for several reasons:

Lack of Transparency: At no point were we given specific details regarding the alleged fraudulent activity. TikTok's communication was vague and failed to provide any clear evidence to substantiate their claims. This lack of transparency undermines trust and makes it impossible for honest businesses to rectify any misunderstandings.

Unfair Judgement and No Due Process: TikTok's decision to close our account was made unilaterally, without giving us the opportunity to address any supposed violations. We repeatedly offered to cooperate and provide any proof of our legitimacy, but our requests were ignored. This approach feels unjust and unprofessional, especially for a platform that claims to support small businesses.

Inadequate Customer Support: The responses we received from TikTok's support team were dismissive and unhelpful. Despite our willingness to engage and resolve any concerns, their decision remained final, with no path forward offered to us. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, particularly from a major platform that holds a significant influence over sellers' livelihoods.

Overly Harsh Penalties: The imposition of 48 violation points and the complete ban from setting up another shop feels excessive, particularly when no clear violations were presented to us. This punitive approach discourages legitimate businesses from using the platform and raises serious questions about TikTok’s seller management practices.

Overall, our experience with TikTok Shop has been extremely negative. The platform's arbitrary account closures, lack of proper investigation, and poor customer service are major issues that need to be addressed. We urge TikTok to review its policies and provide a fair and transparent process for businesses that wish to use their platform legitimately.

Until TikTok makes significant changes to how it handles these situations, we cannot recommend TikTok Shop to any business owners looking for a reliable platform to reach their customers.

Don’t order from TikTok shop they rip you off I ordered some clothes some clothes were x2 which means I ordered a couple of everything the x2 didn’t go on after a placed order and charged me full price the order come to £49.00 they took £123.00 I’ve messaged them a few times with no success

Had a very negative experience with one of your assigned merchant account manager. Earlier this month, we gladly accepted an invitation to collaborate and chat with an account manager who reached out to us via their UK offices. As soon as I joined the call, he started shouting to give him the shop code, then proceeded to ask questions very abruptly and rapidly as if he did not have the time and was in a hurry. Needless to say, the whole interaction was off and the meeting went very badly. I cannot believe that Tiktok would let such a rude, inconsiderate individual who clearly lacks communication and people skills represent the company in such ways. Very disappointed by the whole experience.

Has potential, but there are many glitches with the platform. Customer service is non existent. They take your money very quickly but don’t give a rats a** when there is a problem. There’s alot of issues with content being removed for no legit reason and when you appeal it’s like playing Russian roulette. Sometimes they get it right sometimes they don’t. I don’t feel safe putting any more money into this platform until they fix the glitches. YouTube has a nice smooth process with minimal ..if any, glitches. Their customer support is awesome. Tiktok should really take note because at this point tiktok looks very money hungry weeping all the benefits from their creators, brands, corporations, and consumers while not wanting to share fairly with those who keep your platform running. Pay attention to those who contact support for help. People don’t put money into a platform that they can’t trust. Trust has to be established.. and you won’t do that until you have fixed the things I mentioned above.

I've ordered from tiktok shop twice and both times It got delayed. And tiktok shop already takes forever to ship. Haven't received my second order yet. The first thing ordered I do love. Just so slow getting delivered.

Third time that I order from tik Tok shop and don't get a tracking number. I had a undelivered package and could not report it to post office without tracking number. Also more than once the delivery was left by garage door instead of my covered front porch like all my deliveries are left. This is inexcusable and probably won't order from shop no more.

Wow where do I start.. well put simply tictok pay little rats to say that there crap or as they say (merchandise) crap is wonderful and hood wink us the general public into buying ther crap cheep nasty not useful and low grade crap as high street grade stuff don't be fooled this is cheep low grade crap and all the people promoting it will eventually be held accountable for ther actions... stay clear of tictok crap ....

Tiktok shop so far has come out good quality far better than Amazon, EBay, Shein or Temu. It can be hit or miss yes but I think if you know what your looking for and look at reviews your in for a blast.

I've had a few things from the shop and liked but but shipping is more ,and you cam find the stuff that you see on tiktock on amazon . I'd recommend just getting from someone eles as these people get paid if you have so many followers I think is wrong

False advertising you believe your getting a bargain but when look at small print the postage is overpriced. You can buy cheaper in the high street

Ordered an item on here and I absolutely love it. TikTok keeps you informed during the whole process, and it didn’t take long to get the product.

I wouldn’t buy anything from abroad from TikTok marketplace/shop. The products aren’t good quality or even reasonable quality. They’re absolute rubbish. I have, however, bought from a cheese shop in the U.K. and the products were outstanding and you could easily contact the company. With TikTok, sellers are rarely contactable

The first thing they did was they closed my store for "unusual activity," but good luck trying to figure that out. The closest thing I came to was that I was using a DBA under my LLC because my LLC's name would have made no sense to my product. But the funny thing is I could use the name in my ads account and get verified. So I went in to close the store and wipe the information, but even though they closed my account, I had to wait thirty days for it to completely close even though it shows closed. I am now trying to withdraw the money from my ads account, and it is quite the routine you have to go through.

They sent my daughter’s package with a 3rd party delivery service and the driver took pictures of the front of my house and then when he put it down and marked it delivered to front door. But my video see the driver stealing it back and when you call the delivery company they’re no supervisor to help. And we were told it’s serious but no one can help us.

I’m upset. I used my first time buyer discount on a shirt and the seller canceled my order, and I don’t have my first time buyer discount anymore. I tried to submit a ticket to inquire, they make you drag a puzzle piece to “verify your a human” or whatever and that doesn’t work as I tried over and over… I don’t have a lot of extra money to spoil myself so when I had the discount, I decided to buy myself a shirt. I didn’t cancel my order. The seller did. I tried reaching out to the seller to get clarity and waited a couple days and didn’t get a response. I tried to submit a ticket and got met with the dang puzzle piece so I didn’t even get to submit my ticket. I feel ripped off. I know this isn’t a big deal for a lot of people, but to me who had enough to get herself something after working full time to only be able to pay bills… I’m really disappointed.

I wish I could give them less stars, I ordered something and they cancel it. Because they said the package can’t come to my house like, There’s no way that’s true.
