Never Again!
Take a look at how many 1 star reviews these clowns have on Yelp--almost more than their 5 star reviews (66 1- star vs 82 5-star), of which 5- stars might be fake anyway. As others have said many times, if I could give ZERO stars I would. Also as many many others have said before, I was given the bait and switch. They stated that the diagnosis fee of $149.99 would be credited back if I authorized them to do the work. Then, the technician told me that was not true. I needed a washer door lock replaced and he told me the labor to replace would be $185, the part was $88, getting the part shipped was $29.95 and then taxes. I saw the same exact part on Amazon, original OEM GE part, for overnight free delivery for $52. And this takes 15 minutes to replace because he had pulled the old part out and that is how long it took. So initially, all in, he quoted $454 to replace a $52 part in 15 minutes. When I complained, Barb, one of the rude managers, called and said she would subtract the original diagnosis charge, but still wanted over $300 to come out and replace it. Ridiculous. I told her I was going to contact GE and let them know what this hack company is doing (I have done this already). Spencer's Appliances, where I bought the washer and which I have used for over 15 years, had referred this company as a GE repair shop, so I called Spencer's and told them what happened, and not shockingly, they said they have heard this time and again but that GE is the one that has them on their list as GE Certified Repair people. Spencer's assured me they would inform management about what I had shared with them and avoid referring in the future. I plan on contacting the Registrar of Contractors in Arizona to report them, and also Trust Pilot, Better Business Bureau. If you decide to use this company, be forewarned. And also look at how they respond to complaints on Yelp-rude, condescending and confrontational. Scary company.
