  1. Logistics Service

Written by the company

In history logistics industry is a manually driven industry and also time consuming so in order for business to expand one will need to keep deploying more resources so called a “Cost-Plus” model. TigerFire’s business model is driven by automation and using technology platform to handle many B2C orders in a blink of a second and achieving results with as limited resources as possible. We use API to connect to different warehouses in different locations and also connecting many different shipping options varying from speed to cost. At the same time our platform is connected to your e-commerce shop/marketplace allowing orders to pass through the system as one single transaction across different service providers so the same data would not have to enter again and again across different system. Our one-stop-shop solution includes: First Mile Delivery, Warehousing and Last Mile Delivery

Highly recommend TigerFireShip

Highly recommend this logistics company! Their seamless API integration with our e-commerce platform has completely transformed our operations. We greatly appreciate their cost-effective pricing, which is significantly lower than the big four logistics providers—ideal for startups like ours trying to keep costs down for our customers. We had a few shipments quoted from DHL and UPS, costing us ~1500USD, and TigerFireShip managed to ship it for 1/10 of the price. With their warehouse conveniently located in Hong Kong, our orders sync directly to their system, allowing them to efficiently manage picking, packing, and delivery—all in one place. This has freed up valuable time for us to concentrate on marketing and sales while they expertly handle the last-mile delivery. Truly a game-changer for our business!

Tigerfireship is very professional and helpful on the whole kickstarter process, such as filling in shipping fee in the backerkit, getting the products from factor to warehouse and swiftly shipped all my international orders out within a few days.

Tigerfirship has housed a team of talents, which provided very useful opinions and solutions and serve d my logistics needs. I am worry free in the whole process.

Worst 3PL Service Ever

Tiger Fire has been a nightmare to work with. They fail to provide monthly reports and consistently overcharge every month, with empty promises of refunds. It actually takes them 48 hours just to dispatch orders. They charge arbitrarily with ridiculous reasons. Only use them if you don't care about your costs.

Avoid at all costs if you don't want to go bankrupt!

They initially quoted me a price for my Kickstarter project based on the weight and dimensions I gave them. Then the bill came and the price was 3x that.

They lied to me saying they had to use a bigger box and my product wouldn't fit in a smaller one. I only found this out when I had to ship some items personally and they fit perfectly. This could have saved me over $15.000.

Besides, they charge you more than their rate card and say it's some error. They did refund me for some of these charges when I caught them.

They take 0 responsibility for lost parcels and are not willing to investigate and refund the lost parcels. I had various refunds from clients because of their incompetence.

The icing on the cake: they tried to charge me $2500 USD to move my goods from their warehouse in Hong Kong to another warehouse using a van. I eventually organized transport myself for $150 USD.

I found them couriers with much better shipping rates (Yun Express) compared to theirs but they refused to make a contract with them or let me ship using my courier contract.

Among other mistakes they make:
- shipping DDU to a country when we specifically asked for DDP
- shipping to the wrong address
- shipping the wrong items

All in all, I lost about $25.000 by working with them.

Another thing to mention: they don't even have their own warehouse, they work with 3rd parties.

Tiger Fire is a new and upcoming…

Tiger Fire is a new and upcoming service based in Hong Kong.

I decided to work with them because we were time crunched to send our product to backers and so we decided to ship directly from HK with them.

Even though things were a bit messy on our end it seems like stuff has settled down and everything is going smoothly.

Everything has been great with Tiger Fire from a service standpoint. It seems like they are trying to be more proactive with their approach as well and improving which is great to see since Logistics requires a lot of proactive planning and changes to make optimizations.

The onboarding experience was the only point of improvement. It seemed a bit scattered but they were also making changes during that time. These kinds of things leaves impressions on customers so that's why this is 4 stars.

However the service was great once we got rolling and as long as we are proactively making adjustments I will stay happy.

This is NOT a partner you want

For a continuous e-commerce business this is NOT a partner you want.

1. Logistics: I have personally lost a payment provider and a banking service because of the amount of undelivered and wrongly delivered parcels through this service. Should I say it also cost me an arm and a leg in refund and chargeback fees.
2. Overcharges: literally on everything, a lot. They also have a thing they call “undercharges”, where on top of 50%+ of the deliveries they then top-up 10-20% with a reasoning that their forwarder partners have sent them larger bills. Well what about the original tariffs stated in the contract? Forget it.
3. Tariffs: just 30% higher than any other HK based operator I worked with. While you stay with them exclusively, it kind of makes sense, but if you explore the options, you realise the rates are heavily overpriced, especially for the US deliveries.
4. Integration: my team has spend literally weeks trying to integrate and re-integrate with TigerFire API, and it didn’t become easier when we switched from a self-code to shopify. It constantly malfunctions, and you have to keep awareness at all times that the orders actually come through, and are not piling up on their side because API has yet again broken up.
5. Stock-out: there is currently no clause in the contract about the stock-out, and I’ve just been quoted with a random number to be able to take my stock from them. As you might have already guessed, this number also exceeds the fair stock out rates for this service by approx 300%. The stock is still with them as I am writing this.
6. Communication: one thing that is actually nice, solid and professional. Cudos for that.

Bottom line: a big nope

Dear Consumer 1,

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We deeply regret to hear about the challenges you've faced, and we take your concerns very seriously. I would like to address each point you raised:

1. **Delivery Issues and Financial Impact**: We sincerely apologize for the undelivered and wrongly delivered parcels that have caused you to lose a payment provider and banking service. We understand the financial strain this has caused in terms of refunds and chargeback fees. We are committed to investigating these incidents thoroughly and implementing measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.

2. **Overcharges and Undercharges**: We apologize for any overcharges and the frustration caused by the "undercharge" adjustments. Transparency and adherence to original tariffs are paramount, and we will review our billing practices to ensure they align with our contractual agreements. We will also engage with our forwarding partners to better manage cost expectations and communications.

3. **Tariffs**: We understand your concerns about our tariffs being higher compared to other HK-based operators, particularly for US deliveries. We are currently reviewing our pricing structure to ensure it remains competitive while maintaining our service quality. We will provide you with a detailed comparison and justification for our rates.

4. **Integration Issues**: We apologize for the difficulties your team experienced with our API integration, both with self-coded systems and Shopify. Our technical team is working on enhancing the stability and user-friendliness of our API. We will assign a dedicated support specialist to assist you and ensure smoother integration going forward.

5. **Stock-out Clause and Excessive Fees**: We acknowledge the lack of a clear stock-out clause in our contract and the unreasonable fees quoted for stock removal. We will immediately review and adjust our stock-out policies to ensure they are fair and transparent. We will also work with you to resolve the current stock removal issue at a reasonable cost.

6. **Communication**: Thank you for acknowledging our communication efforts. We strive to maintain high standards in this area and will continue to ensure our support remains solid and professional.

We value your partnership and are committed to making the necessary improvements to better serve you. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss these issues further and find a resolution that works for you. Please let me know a convenient time for us to talk.

Again, thank you for your candid feedback. We look forward to resolving these matters and rebuilding your trust in our services.

I used TigerFire to ship about 300 books. They were very responsive and changed packaging halfway through to address slight damage to a few shipments. They communicated very well, and they were a pleasure to work with.
