Tickets were easy to purchase off the site. We watched my stepson win his first fight.
The room was a good size, well spaced and not overcrowded. Bar staff were very professional and no big queues. Door staff were very professional too. Overall a great experience and lots of money raised for two worthy charities.
Really easy site to use for all your ticketing needs
Cracking night at Arleston Hall (Derby) for charity MMA. First time at a ‘white collar fight night’ and was massively impressed by the set up. Very professional looking and made the night feel A-Class. No issues with ticket service/purchasing. Bar service was spot on. Door staff/security were among some of the most pleasant and helpful I’ve experienced at any kind of event. Will certainly make a beeline to attend again. 10/10 event.
The overall experience was very good – Perfect venue and the atmosphere was great. Organisation wise, I believe there was big room for improvement. Fighters were very much responsible for sharing information and details about the event whereas I feel that UWCB should have played more of a part in this. Also, there was a delay in handout of VIP wristbands and the fighters themselves were responsible for distributing these with only 48hrs to do so – This could have been managed much better so that there was no additional pressure on the fighters. There were large delays getting guests in to the venue, resulting in long queues for both standard guests and VIPs which was disappointing and likely added to the need to delay the first fights. Drink prices were expected to be high, as they are for like events, however I felt that they were TOO high in my own opinion. £12.50 for a spirit and mixer was a bit much. I also feel that it would have added to the atmosphere, if VIP guests were allowed to remain standing and up closer to the ring (within reason) during the specific fight they had attended to see – Perhaps a family/friends circle for the fight itself. I say this as a partner of one of the fighters – My allocated table was four rows away from the ring and I had hoped to be much closer for my partner’s fight in particular. As I say, the overall experience was positive and I would definitely attend again – These are just my own observations upon reflection.
I’d never been to a boxing match before as it’s not usually my thing, but I went along to support some friends who were taking part. It was nothing like I expected—in the best way. The atmosphere was amazing: really friendly, almost like a party, with people dancing, singing, and cheering for every fighter.

Good event, it was fun. There was little time between fights which kept it engaging and stopped the event form dragging on. However I believe a lot of fights were stopped very prematurely, some fights got stopped if the other guy landed a punch even though the receiving fighter was bison ally more than okay to continue fighting. I understand that the safety of these non experienced fighters is paramount, however they had trained a long time to have their fights stoped so soon.
More importantly there needs to be a lot more security, there was a serious incident at our event that put the crowd and security in danger where a big group of spectators disapproved of the referee stoppage of the fight they were there to see, leading them to throw chairs, barriers beer across the arena and at the octagon, putting the referee in danger and the audience.
The understaffed security did their best to handle the situation but as they started to remove the disruptive spectators, the group in which these people belonged to started to get even more aggressive and followed the security outside. It could’ve been horrific, the security guards would’ve stood no chance and would’ve faced a beating. I know that 3 random unrelated audience members were punched by this group. I don’t know for sure if any security were harmed but it wouldn’t surprise me.
It should be said aswell that the fighter who lost was antagonising the situation, going into the crowd and threatening to throw chairs at audience members, as well as threatening the paramedics who were trying to do there job and do the post fight check up, I saw him verbally threaten the man who was following him and politely asking him to stop walking so he could check him up.
Also the view from the non VIP area was terrible, if you weren’t in the first line of people, you couldn’t see a thing.
Atmosphere was amazing. Venue was strange for what it was hosting but it worked. First time seeing mma but went to see my daughter fight with it being her and a charity event. Once I got over the shock of watching her fight it was a brilliant night. The photos I bought were fab but I thought a bit over priced, I bought two lots anyway. That’s my only gripe. It was well organised and a superb night really enjoyed it. Would definitely go again

I’ve been using TickitUp for a little while now and honestly didn’t expect to like it this much. It’s super easy to use, everything feels straightforward, and I haven’t had any of the usual hassle you get with similar apps. What I like most is how smooth the whole experience is — no glitches, no confusion, just does what it’s supposed to.
I’ve already recommended it to a couple of friends because it’s actually been useful day-to-day. Definitely one of those apps you end up sticking with. Looking forward to seeing how it improves over time, but so far it’s been spot on 👍
