On March 16, 2026, I purchased tickets via tickets.lv for the route Riga - Hurghada - Riga (SkyUp Airlines, flights U5-8911 and U5-8912, total cost €514.55).
On April 1, 2026, I was notified that the return flight Hurghada → Riga (U5-8912, departure May 16, 2026) had been cancelled. An alternative flight on May 13 was offered, which did not acceptable for me. After contacting tickets.lv support, I was informed that in this case I needed to request a full refund which I did on the same day.
Since the ticket was booked as a round trip I had to purchase a new ticket even for the outbound segment, despite the fact that it had not initially been cancelled.
I then purchased a new ticket via tickets.lv for the Riga → Hurghada flight (U5-8911) scheduled for May 6 (€285). However, this flight was later (on April 10th) significantly changed (moved to an earlier date), which forced me to request another refund - the second one in this entire situation.
At the time of writing, almost 2 weeks have passed since I submitted my first refund request (April 1, 2026), yet its status remains unchanged ("Waiting for data about your booking"). tickets.lv support provides only generic responses, stating that they are "waiting for confirmation from the airline", without giving any specific timeline.
Over the phone, I was told that the refund process may take up to 3 months. I consider such timeframes unacceptable, especially given that in case of flight cancellation, passengers are entitled to a refund and such processes should not take months.
As a result, a significant amount of money (€799,55) is effectively "frozen" for an undefined period, with no transparency from tickets.lv.
I would recommend avoiding this agency whenever possible.

Hidden fees in the amount of 6%-16% from the initial amount.
Can be 6% or even 16% hidden fee at the last step. It is named: "card payment processing fee if you use VISA, Mastercard or any other card you may have (except very rare Maestro card which is phased out since 2023 :) )". Seems it is regular policy of tickets.lv simply to get higher in the search results.
After posting review they tried to bribe me with the amount of hidden fees I have already paid. Not paying back the hidden fees, bet offering discount for the next purchase :)
But how I can use this discount if I'm not planning to use the services of company which regularly makes business on hidden fees? After the first bad experience I have tried Tickets.lv more (used only once) and every time these hidden fees appeared. It is not interesting to get future discount together with new hidden fees in the future :)
So I didn't changed 1 star voting.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not going to dive into it, but all I’m going to say is: don't trust this company. I had a flight scheduled with 3 connections. As I arrived at the airport, I was told that one of my flights had been cancelled 2 months ago and I should’ve received an email about it. I received an email only when I confronted them, on the day when my flight was leaving.
Never got the compensation back because I couldn’t change my flights. Had to go through so much and spent a lot of money to get home safely. On top of €650 that I paid for my flights, I had to add over €1000 to that.
Good learning lesson to book your flights or trip’s thru airlines.

Then i wrote in support chat in Telegram and i got reply after 5-6h during the night. They have provided valid reference code for me to check-in. I guess i would be required to pay extra $ to check-in offline because of service could not provide proper ref number.
Also, charing 13 eur additionaly for paying non-maestro card (i never seen anyone using maestro)...

I had bought four tickets, one from Airbaltic, two from Scandinavian airlines and one from Rynair. the Airbaltic and scandinavian airlines tickets worked fine and I could easily check in and get the boarding passes but when I tried to retrieve my rynair boarding pass, it wouldn't find it as it was booked on some tickets.lv email. I called and emailed a few days before and the consultant responded that its normal that they book the ticket with their company email and that they will complete check in for me and send me the boarding pass and I wouldn't need to do anyhting. This did not happen, so I called again the night before the flight and the consultant on the phone said that the ticket would be sent to me at ~07:00AM. This also didn't happen, so I called again a few hours before the flight, and this time, after waiting on the line for a while the consultant just said that they could check me in while being on the call and I had to give a few of my personal details. I do not understand why write and tell me that I do not need to do anything and that they will handle everything if it is clearly not true, as I had to call many times. Its also pretty clear that if I hadn't called them multiple times, I would most likely not get my boarding pass on time. Its also unclear to me, why the consultant I spoke on the phone the night before the flight could not check me in if it was as simple as asking me for some personal details and doing it while being on the call.
