BIGGEST RIPOFF
I am absolutely FLOORED that this is even allowed. I purchased two tickets to a Shania Twain concert for a total of just over $300. Upon receiving the e-tickets, the face value of the tickets is $55. I did not realize at the time that these were not official tickets, but rather from an outside party. The seller marked the price up 200% and I am unable to get a refund. I now see that I could spend $275 total for fantastic seats through the venue site, but instead I will be sitting in the nosebleeds and have overpaid by $170. Absolute BS. I am furious.

DO NOT USE TICKET MAGIC. Ordered my tickets in September for a January concert. Received my tickets the night before. Ticket magic completely over chargers their customers. Spent $125 for one ticket, received my ticket in the mail and it was from “Ticketmaster” and the face value was only $47, they take advantage of their customers. I will never use this site again, I strongly advise you to do the same.

True story. We bought tickets online through ticket magic on Dec. 30, 2017 for a Disney on ice performance in Toronto for 1 pm. They sent us tickets for the 4 pm show by mistake. I printed them and ran out the door to go down to the city for the show. My child and I ran in the door for the show at 12:45 pm and our tickets were rejected - the ticket person said that the tickets were for the 4pm show! It was -14 degrees Celsius outside - what were we supposed to do downtown for 4 hours?
I called Ticket Magic, a number easily accessible and they answered the phone!
They checked my order confirmation number and said yes, their online system made an error. We will refund your purchase 200%. However they had no more tickets available for the 1 pm show so I said okay if I get the 200% refund.
Then, my husband said, maybe your printed tickets will still work for the 4 pm show? So we dropped in at at a friends place and waited around, then went back to try and get in for the 4 pm show. Tickets worked!
Then checked to see if we got the 200% refund and we did! Plus we got to see the show, so essentially we were paid to see Disney on Ice. Ticket Magic could now have been more fair with us. We were very impressed that first of all, they answered the phone first call, and secondly, they were true to their word regarding the refund.

Update: no response from Ticketmagic. Very disappointed with lack of professionalism. Strongly advise against buying tickets through them.

Was not aware that this was a ticket reseller and not the actual seller. Cost us 300% of ticket price for a Foo Fighters show in Denver. We were pushed off on their insurance company to make a claim and were told that all sales were final, no exchanges made. We were told to try to resell our ticket for the show as well, passing off their horrible price.

When the dates for this summer's Dead & Company tour were announced I was anxious to purchase before prices rose. My friend and I purchased tickets for the Boulder date. We were alarmed when the service fee was $90 dollars for each ticket but decided to proceed.

We should have done our research instead of trusting this website posing as a legitimate one. Tickets for this date are not available for pre-sale. We have tried contacting their customer service and they refused to offer a refund or respond to our questions regarding why they offered tickets before they are even available.

We are incredibly disappointed that this website took so much money from us and these tickets do not yet exist.

Same thing happened to me that happened to another person trying to purchase Dead and Co. tickets. I'm desperately trying to get a refund and they aren't allowing it. They are giving no explanation why my tickets are legit when they aren't even on sale yet. The reason given to me (by a person that barely speaks English) is that the "manager is not taking calls". I got gouged and shame on me. Lesson learned. But definitely DO NOT purchase tickets from these jerks.

This is horrible. I bought tickets to the 2Cellos concert. I have been a big fan and my daughter loves them. I looked up tickets and TicketMagic was either the first or second one that popped up. I paid $55 a ticket only to find out face value is $34. I bought 4 tickets and got hit with service fee then delivery. $303 later we are going to the show. Why is there mark up and then a service fee? You guys are crooks, no other way to say it. Online ticket scalpers. Lesson learned I guess.

Buyer beware- the short of it is I would never want to repeat this experience again. The long: Saturday November 11th was the date for the LCD Soundsystem concert in Denver. I purchased two tickets in mid September online and never received them. I called a few weeks after initial purchase because the tickets hadn’t been “released” from original seller. According to their Ticket Magic reps this is SOP, and a caution for all of us consumers going forward. I’ve noticed this practice becoming more popular as sellers/brokers argue about policy- a load of you know what. The sellers often don’t release the tickets due to their greedy desire to hold out for an even higher profit margin- selling at the last minute to someone else willing to pay more. If it was described as a bidding process such as eBay I personally would be fine with it, but to give someone the impression the sale is final and never deliver is unacceptable. So, on the day of (Saturday 11th) I spent 1hr & 45 min with reps only to find they didn’t have them. I was reimbursed the next week, but given the purchase was made with my credit card (always insured) I wasn’t concerned.

Do not use this "service"!!

My stepmother purchased four "tickets" to a James Taylor show, because she thought she was buying from the legitimate source and was lead to believe that they would be gone if she delayed. In fact, they were selling "tickets" that had *not even gone on sale to the public yet* for more than double the eventual, actual box office price PLUS a "service" fee of $72.23 EACH, PLUS a delivery fee of $7.95, for a total of $1,228.87. These were for an upper section in the back of the house, by the way. I purchased four *legitimate* tickets directly from jamestaylor.com during the pre-sale period that *just began today at 10:00 am* for front rows 1-20 for $476 total

Complete rip-off that takes advantage of people who may not be savvy enough to comb through the fine print or find reviews such as this, and pressures them into a purchase of tickets *that do not even yet exist* at exorbitant prices by feigning scarcity. Completely sick about this scam. Sure, they "connect buyers and sellers", but I cannot understand how they can legally "sell" tickets that *no one has even purchased yet*. Sounds like fraud to me, but I'm sure they have fine print to cover that somehow. Crooks

Biggest Scammers. BEWARE! Mimics the legitimate websites. Paid $320 CAD for 4 tickets with face value of $33 CAD each at the venue and on ticketmaster. ALMOST $200 over value!......... Visa was charged not only conversion fees, USD to CAD for an event in my OWN country, but huge service fees which are undeclared! What a joke! Canadian residents beware of this website. Websites like this should not be allowed!

I had a very bad experience with concert tickets. I bought Flex tickets online for a concert, On every part of the booking-buying process stated that the tickets were secure, that I needed to wait only for a confirmation email close to the concert date. About a month before the show, I got a call asking and an email asking me to call them back to assign my seats. Once I called them, I learned that it was not a seat assignment call, it was a cancellation call. They said it was a private event, that they just learned that, and I will receive full refund. The manager was really disrespectful, raising his voice and not letting me ask questions or talk, not worth my time. I checked again on their website and guess what: they are still offering tickets. Lying or scamming? This company is a complete fraud. Not a reliable vendor and a treat costumers in a very disrespectful manner. Not having my business again.

TicketMagic sent my tickets to Urugay. When I noticed the address was wrong before they shipped the tickets I contacted TicketMagic to indicate that Nashville TN is in the USA and not in Urugay so the address should be corrected. Note that this was over a week before the tickets were shipped. Now the tickets are somewhere in South America and I may not receive them before the show. Furthermore, TicketMagic has not been responsive to my emails and or phone calls. I strongly advise to never purchase tickets through TicketMagic. Please use a more reputable ticket resale company when purchasing tickets.

Here is my honest review: I had a pretty good experience with Ticket Magic. I ordered tickets for the Backstreet Boys at the Beacon Theatre in NYC a month in advance. To be fair, I thought I was actually on the Beacon Theatre website so I did not intentionally want to purchase from them. I purchased tickets for the balcony and received a call that my seats weren't available but they could move me to an equivalent section. I received the e-tickets within minutes of ordering. It had someone else's name on it but they did work! The tickets scanned as normal and I had a great time at the show. I didn't mind that I paid above face value, but I didn't realize it was resold tickets. The fees are insane. I was very worried after reading the reviews and I don't think I'll use them again, but luckily my tickets were legit and everything worked out great!

CANADIAN BUYERS ESPECIALLY BEWARE. Like others have noted in their reviews my experience so far has been a full on scam. BEWARE! I went to what was created to look like the venues official website, and found the band that I wanted to see. I am in Canada and so is the venue, who's website I was suppose to be in and have bought many tickets to see shows there, so didn't feel this was new process at all. When I selected my tickets, and put in my card information, I was made aware front and centre of a $7.95 dollar service fee, which I was willing to accept. Upon accepting that the item processed and I was charged not only $55 PER TICKET as a service fee, but ALSO CHARGED IN U.S. Dollars. So my purchase (which in itself was a really hard decision to make of $380 Canadian, turned into a total of $620 Canadian almost double. (or $498 US!). Even without the exchange I would NEVER have made this purchase. I immediately called the ticket website number who recanted that all sales were final, like a robot. I called my bank BANK OF MONTREAL who assured me that this could be disputed, but I would need to wait until it was posted to my account. That happened a couple days later, ahd I contacted them who quickly just connected me to the vendor who was not willing to do anything. .

I have bought tickets through the Rogers Centre website numerous times in Canada, in Canadian dollars, and so felt comfortable doing so again. What a scam. Now I am very concerned that the tickets may not even be real. I will keep you posted.

I ordered the tickets in September, and it said I would receive it in December... I was worried after reading the review. But finaly I received my ticket the day before the show, and everything was fine and as I expected. I just don't understand why they don't send the e-ticket right away.
Anyway I had a great show.

I wanted to buy a ticket to a concert, so I searched the internet. The first result had the name of the band as the URL, so I thought that was the official site. The ticket page came up with the band's name in a headline. It looked like the tickets were reserved, since they specified a row number, and higher prices for different rows. I bought a ticket, and the confirmation e-mail came from Ticketmagic.com. Who are they? I searched for them on the internet and came up with terrible reviews on this site and others as being a ripoff third party outfit. I found the actual official ticket site, and it was an all general admission show, not sold out, and with substantially cheaper ticket and service charge prices. I also saw another third party site, Stubhub, which is ethical and puts their company name in their URL.

I understand that these third party ticket sites are a valuable resource for sold out shows, but the only way they can sell tickets to general admission shows which are not sold out is to mislead people into thinking they are the official ticket site and that the seats are reserved. And now from reading other reviews, I find out that they sometimes sell fake tickets. They say you will get a refund, but you have wasted your time going to the venue, missed the show you wanted to see, and have to go to the trouble of getting a letter from the venue that you were turned away. And even then it seems they are not immediately forthcoming with the refund.

All in all, it's a pretty sleazy way to make money. Congratulations Ticketmagic, you did your job and ripped me off good.

Way too over priced. Just bought 3 ticket from Ticketmagic then noticed Ticketmaster and seats in the same room for 1/2 the price I paid. Save you money and look else where. I even spoke with customer representative and he didn't acknowledge that I told him that Ticketmaster was selling them for 1/2 off. My mistake should not be yours!

Bought ticket, went to event, was told tickets had already been used, denied entry!!
