I love my boots. They feel very high quality and the fit was instantly comfortable. I have wide feet and often feel crushed by thick leather boots. I wore these through winter with both business events as well as winter walks. I did eventually have an issue that I needed to check in with customer service (on a Sunday no less) and they were amazing. A couple of photos of the issue and they sent me a replacement. This is a fantastic product backed with fantastic customer service.

Absolutely atrocious quality of sneakers and even worse customer service. I purchased a pair of sneakers that came out to over $255.28 with taxes and duty to Canada thinking the quality was good. Received the sneakers, took out the insoles, and the stitching was all over the place and incomplete. Literally unfinished. Whoever made the pair didn't even put their name on tag like they are supposed to and I don't blame them. I sent them 10+ photos and no response for days. Then they asked me to send them the same info again which I did. Days go by and they reply with some nonsense about how every pair is unique, they won't fall apart, blah blah. I wish I could post photos. 10+ emails back and forth and they want me to pay for return shipping and then pay for duty and taxes to replace a defective pair of shows. HUH?!?! On what planet does that even make any sense!? How about this... cover the return of a horribly made pair of sneakers and don't try to charge your customer for terrible workmanship and extra hassle?! That would be the right thing to do but apparently not in their world. Never again will purchase a thing from Thursday Boot Company!
Update 4/29/26: Yes, the customer service team was in touch more than a few times as I wouldn’t accept the initial decision that was made which was paying to return the sneakers and paying to have a replacement sent to me. I guess the issue seems to be resolved at this point. Hopefully no issues with the replacement pair when I receive them.

I’m still in the process of finding the right shoes for my work environment both stylistically and practically. My customer service representative remained the same throughout the process which I really appreciate! She has been an enormous help and very patient as I’ve had a lot of questions with the fit and sizing. I’m still waiting on my exchange pair of heeled penny loafers to arrive and may need to change the style even if they fit but I feel confident I can rely on the outstanding customer service of Thursday Boot for any other needs that arise.
As far as the fit, reviews claimed the shoes fit true to size but I experienced the left shoe having slippage in the heel when I walked and decided to switch to a half size smaller. I’m hoping whichever size and style I choose will last me a very long time in comfort.

Ordered based on Thursday's own sizing guide, which recommended US 5.5 for my UK 4 / EUR 37 foot. Standard conversion puts me at a US 6 — a full size larger than what they told me to buy.
The result: boots so tight they've left me with an open wound on my heel after two short wears. Not a blister. An actual open abrasion. I followed their break-in advice to the letter.
I emailed their customer service on 17th April with photo evidence of the size discrepancy and a clear, reasonable request — an exchange for the correct size. Three days later, nothing. Not even an acknowledgement.
At this point I'll be raising a chargeback with my bank and buying elsewhere. I had high hopes for the brand but the combination of inaccurate sizing guidance, a product that caused genuine injury, and complete radio silence from customer service has made the decision easy.
Save yourself the trouble and use your standard size conversion, not theirs. Better yet, don't buy anything from them.
Update: Partial resolution, but a long road to get there
After leaving my initial 1-star review, Thursday Boot Company reached out within days, which says a lot about how seriously they take public feedback versus direct emails, none of which were taken seriously, even after I had shared photos of my injury. Kristie from their team was genuinely helpful once involved and agreed to a refund, which I appreciate. However, the resolution was only partial: I paid £185 and received £141 back. The remaining £44 covered duties and shipping, meaning I effectively paid £44 for the privilege of having my heel injured and spending ages chasing a resolution.
The core issue remains: their sizing tool gave me incorrect guidance, I followed it, and it caused real physical harm. A brand that stands behind its product should absorb those costs in a case like this, not the customer.

My experience with Thursday Boots Company was amazing. I originally made an order, which I had to cancel. Thankfully, I sent an email, and Maegan got back to me promptly. She helped cancel, adjust, and place a new order for me. Even after my new order arrived, I had a few issues, which she was able to resolve for me, with a very favourable outcome for me as the consumer. I have purchased from Thursday in the past, and with such helpful customer service, I'll continue to shop with them.

I have ordered the jacket from them 175£ promised, easy return to UK but not say about the charge. The jacket arrived crumpled and smelly ,horrible not worth a penny!! They charged me 36£ for return so you decide if is worth it. Never again from USA ,quality poor as China but price like first class. Shame on you Thursday Boots. Not recomend at all !

I bought a pair of premier low tops in hickory. Absolutely superb shoes! Look great, the size is true, and the quality is top tier. I waited a few weeks before reviewing to see how they broke in. They get better with wear. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Nice boots but I ordered in US sizing without knowing. Couldn’t get foot in boot! Went to return and found out I’m responsible for return fees being quoted £50 to return. I contacted Thursday who waived the return fee saying they could exchange for the boot of my choice. I opted for this and was then quoted £25 to exchange the boot!
Now I’m waiting for said boot but I’m worried it won’t arrive - or I’ll be charged with something further. The boots are nice but not worth this hassle if you live in the UK

The boots fitt great and if they fall a little bit to big you just put insoles in them and it's fixt. They are also waterproof and very durable

I love the way the low top sneaker looks and the quality. I get tons of compliments on them; however, they are extremely uncomfortable. They are not true to size. They are very narrow. It’s unfortunate, because I love the way they look.

A 2 because they look good. May be the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever had the displeasure of paying $140 for. They hurt my toes, my arch, my heel and my feelings all at the same time. I am glad I fell for the Thursday Boot social media hype for $140 instead of $300.

Avoid - I purchased a pair of shoes from Thursday and not only did I receive a different model of shoes entirely, but they were also damaged.
Customer support completely ignored/refused to engage in the fact these were a different model, and said the markings on the shoe were “cosmetic only” and “would not affect the wearability of the shoe”. After much back and forth they said they’d offer a refund if I paid for shipping - a complete farce of a company.

Boots were far too small despite using the size guide. The returns process took 6 weeks to get my refund and then 25% of it was deducted - buyers beware if you're buying from the UK and things don't work out - you will only get 75% of the £value back

I like the style of boots/shoes and customer service has been fairly responsive. However, Thursday's value of cost-effective production seems to have gone too far for me as I have realized that in my Cadet and Executive the stitching of the toe cap sits well back from the end of the structurally rigid part of the toe cap. It's really in the vamp. I don't know if this is a design decision that I disagree with or poor quality control. Effectively the toe cap is guaranteed to crease in these shoes which is not desirable. Not a huge issue in a rugged and resilient Tobacco Cadet, but a significant issue in a dress shoe Brandy Executive. This is not an issue in my Captains (so not all Thursday Boots are made this way) nor other cap toe shoes and boots that I own.

Purchased the Cadet boots in January '26. They look great and you can tell the craftsmanship is top notch. I was excited to wear them, only to have the left boot rub my big toe until I could barely walk. So, I thought 'let's break them in and it will get better'. Nope. I think that it is the basic design of the boot which has a rounded/short toe. I even took them to a cobbler to have the toe stretched. To no avail. The cobbler said that I could bring them back and try again, and I will. But, I'm pretty much stuck with $200 shoes that I can't wear. Buyer beware. I really wanted these to work out.
