Great service and money well spent

We hired Thrings to assist with some intellectual property clearance searches so we could move forward with a new business with confidence. Megan was excellent in answering my initial questions so we knew what to expect, the price was fair, and we were very impressed with the results Darcy and Megan sent back. They clearly took the time to investigate thoroughly for us, and turned it around very quickly. After initially feeling nervous about setting things up, we now feel it was money well spent and are excited for the next stages ahead of us. Thank again, Kelly and Tom

Poor

I contacted Thrings Solicitors about a problem I needed help with, but they failed to respond to my email in a prompt manner. The lack of communication was really unhelpful and unprofessional in my experience."

The Absolute Worst Firm Experienced

The worst company I've ever had to deal with my whole life. My divorce was a farce, inexperienced lawyer who went off on maternity leave and didn't even inform me, a barrister who was new and mousey in court. I lost almost everything, I had only managed to hold on to my own property due to my own legal investigations. I had never purchased a single property with my ex-husband, yet he escaped with this awful settlement. Yet still I was charged a hefty fee which I disputed, They are bigger than me and won! They then put a charge on my property. They do not answer the phone and do not appear to have a clue what they are doing.

Not unlike other respondents

Not unlike other respondents, I wish it was possible to leave a negative score because that would be reflective of my experience.

Following the recent death of my father, we needed what I feel was simple help in transferring his part in the marital home into trust. The initial solicitor I saw couldn't interpret a simply written will and then having foolishly allowed them to proceed, someone chose to write to my deceased father to ask him to sign a form, causing my mother great distress.

Totally inept, please think carefully about using their services.

Do not use this solicitor…

It is a shame I can't give this solicitor a minus stars. If you don't wish to suffer stress and anxiety DO NOT USE THIS SOLICITOR. It has taken 4 years to sort an estate of an uncle that left a clear and simple will A solicitor(no I am not going to name her,) has made so many excuses with very little communication. 4 charities were involved. I do hope they get the money that was left for them

I approached Thrings with an enquiry…

I approached Thrings with an enquiry and established contact with one of their Solicitors. After they had made a request for further information to assist with my enquiry, I submitted all of the information requested. I waited patiently for a response as to whether they could assist. I received no further contact from Thrings. Not even a courtesy email. This is certainly not what I would consider a professional service.

Unprofessional in my experience

There seem to be cultural issues when dealing with this company, from my experience. They don't treat clients with respect and don't understand boundaries when dealing with others. Any questions tend to be dealt with by shrill, judgemental, responses ..... rude. That's if they can't get away with ignoring the client completely, which is their default position. Not to mention, the standard of work I am paying for is very poor and unprofessional, as they are supposed to act in the client's best interests. From my experience, I would never recommend them.

With a eye for detail and sense of urgency...

I cannot recommend Josephine's services highly enough. Josephine acted extremely efficiently for us under tight timescales, with the utmost care and attention. With a eye for detail and sense of urgency Josephine kept us very informed throughout the entire process and we never once felt like we needed to chase or we wondered what was going on. Thank you so much for making what could have been a stressful process easy.

Efficient, simple & pain free process

Kate has been amazing at helping us with business T&Cs - she made the process simple, efficient and pain free and a world away from the long winded time consuming exercise I expected. I know other businesses that Thrings have worked with and everyone has excellent things to say about them.

Extremely Dissatisfied

I couldn’t complain more! This company I believe is the cause of everything I’ve built in life lost to a divorce ! I had to go outside of the business and hire a barrister who closed the case within weeks which allowed me to retain my home / I could’ve been spared these devastating losses which I still endure, mental torture too
Again I try to contact them as they facilitated a lean on my home to obtain their “unwarranted’ fees - I do not think they unearned this at all. I contacted them last week spoke to a senior solicitor, was advised to email- email confirmed - then nothing, I called this week, no response, called switchboard, tried solicitor line, no response so message left to return my call still nothing - and still have to chase them - no response ! Weekend fast approaching.
This is why I complained about them initially, no contact, no response , my solicitor was a joke and disappeared to get married mid case leaving barely any briefing to substitute solicitor. The worse experience I’ve ever had. And it continues. Severely disappointed!!!
