Threshold.aero Reviews 101

Access to 3 types of jet, 10 aircraft in total. The lighting allowed some great long exposure shots.
The area wasn't too crowded, each individual just needed to be mindful not to get in each others way!
Weather wasn't the best, but neither Threshold or the RAF could do anything about that!
We will be back!!

Cosford was my first Threshold even and my second night shoot. The team from Threshold and the RAF had everything well organised and set up. They were very helpful and knowledgable, and nothing was too much trouble. It was obvious that both teams knew and trusted each other. Many of those attending were quite obviously regulars and were also friendy and willing to give advice and tips. I learnt quite a bit that night. I will certainly be attending more of Thresholds events in the future. I would reccomend anyone wanting to try an aviation nightshoot to book a Threshold event. Looking forwaard to the next one.

If you are looking for night shoots that are catered for the Enthusiast then look no further, both Paul & Andy are aviation enthusiasts / photographers and know exactly what the paying punter is looking for.

I’ve been a big supporter since before their Threshold Aero days when they ran the Bourne Park Night Shoots. Their events seems to be so much more relaxed than other night shoots that i’d attended.

Since then i’ve attended the Gazelle 50th Commemorative Fly-In, the Auster 80th Anniversary Fly-In and a handful of night shoots as a paying customer where i’ve achieved some truly fantastic images (well in my opinion).

I was asked if i’d like to volunteer last year and since then it’s really changed my outlook on this hobby as i have seen what it takes to organise these sort of events. In my honest humble opinion Threshold Aero are a league above anyone else in terms of lighting and this shows by seeing peoples images.

There’s a real satisfaction seeing how pleased people are at the end of their events too, long may it continue as i think they are going from strength to strength.

I’ve been a customer of Threshold for a couple of years and was always impressed by the smooth running of the events and the great atmosphere they created. Now I’m lucky to be one of a group of volunteers who get to help out occasionally and have seen first hand how they put the needs of the photographers first. So much planning goes into the positioning of the aircraft and the investment in the best lights around really makes all the difference. The Threshold team are enthusiasts and photographers themselves, so they really understand what their customers want.

Very well organised and a great range of aircraft. Loads of time to get your images and a nice bunch of people to boot. Will definitely attend future events 👍👏

Great events and very well organised I have been to a number of events and would recommend them to anyone with an interest in Aircraft and photograph

I have attended a couple of nights shoots that have been organised by Threshold Aero and each time it has been a very good experience.
The guys know just how to set the lights on the subjects and very helpful when asked questions or if you are just looking for advice.
I'm looking forward to future events as night time photography is very challenging but very rewarding and enjoyable, helped of course by the guys from Threshold Aero.
