Poor odds and competitions that aren't…
Poor odds and competitions that aren't transparent. I was shocked when I did the maths behind the odds on offer (or not on offer, as they use entrants rather than the number of tickets, and this information isn't presented at the time of entry). For a £1500 prize they were allowing 650 entrants to buy up to 10 tickets each, so more than £6k if they sell-out. This is even worse odds than playing the lottery! I play with a number of other competition sites that offer much better odds on their prizes, so it's disappointing that ThisIsTheWant are operating in such a customer unfriendly manor. I raised this with their customer support, who assured me they are making changes to address this, which I look forward to, as if these prizes were priced fairly and transparently I'd be happy to play here again (and update my review).
I give them 2 stars instead of 1 as the some of the prizes are cool. BUT, anyone who understands odds will know there are dozens of other raffle sites that offer a fair proposition.
