Purchased 2 wallets, only 1 sent

Purchased two wallets, only one was delivered and I was so happy with that one! However, they messaged me about the other wallet saying quality wasn’t up to their standards so I waited for months and it never came. After a year of emailing the same thread about 5 or 6 times I still haven’t received an answer. I can’t contact my CC since it’s been too long. Bummer about the service but the one wallet I do have is still holding up, with some leather stitching coming undone and the zipper gets stuck occasionally.

Try harder

I ordered a wallet in November, and I still haven't received it yet. I've been communicating with them for 4 months now, and they take little to no action regarding the situation. They keep blaming it on other things instead of taking accountability. I was willing to be patient for them because I was really looking forward to supporting a small sustainable business, but I can see that though they preach sustainability, their business practices are super unsustainable. I've also asked for a refund because the waiting was getting ridiculous, but they keep telling me to wait! Is 4 months not enough for a small wallet? If they cannot offer a clear transaction with their customers because of other things going on, they should not be selling anything. I do not recommend buying anything from this shop.

Be careful, this shop is fraudulent!

Avoid at all costs! Be very careful and don't trust their website. I have placed an order on their website on Jan 30th. The order has never arrived. Their communication was awful, customer service is non-existent, emails are answered after weeks with really bad excuses: 'small team, no stock, moving studios' - that's all okay normally, but they should communicate this on the website not hold onto people's money. Personally I know these excuses are not true. My order was worth $207.36 USD and has never been sent to me. I demanded a refund on March 3rd after that I got another email with excuses and no order in sight. On March 12th they told me that they are processing my refund but it's now March 25th and I didn't get my money back. I have reported this company to Europol - it's EU Cybercrime portal and I urge you to do the same. Just Google 'Europol EU report a cybercrime online' as Trustpilot doesn't allow direct links (once you are on the link click on the German flag as thisispapershop are based in Berlin Germany, you can easily fill out the form even if you don't speak German using Chrome as your browser and Google Translate, I got the confirmation from the police station in Berlin that they will investigate this company and that they have successfully received my report).
This company is committing a crime. Two other people have now contacted me to say that the same thing happened to them. If this happened to you too please report this company right away so that they don't fool others.

We are a small studio and as a co-founder, I have a lot of different obligations. I try to work as complex as it's possible. Starting from packing parcels, writing emails, working with the manufacturing process and many more as well.

Unfortunately, for 2 months we are preparing ourselves for a big change - we are moving our family to Berlin in April. Therefore I am overloaded with additional work and it definitely influenced my workflow. Sorry that it also influenced your case.

You have been notified automatically regarding the shipment on the 13th of February. Since this moment I didn't hear any news from you. Therefore I assumed that everything is fine and you will receive your bag soon.

Only terrible

False delivery, no delivery information, arbitrary pickup time/date/place decided by the company for the return of the product, not showing up on the promised pickup date. Deadly unprofessional service makes the whole experience only terrible, horrible, awful.

Transfer bag solid black

Hi,

I am incredibly happy with my purchase. The quality of the material is so good, and the package was packaged so carefully that it was like a gift to receive ( I bought it for myself and it arrived on my birthday, couldn't be better).
Thank you for your beautiful work! I'm a fan of thisispaper and will advertise your products as good as I can ;)

My only remark is that I have saved money for quite a while to buy this bag because it's expensive, and now I see there are a lot of sales and it's 100euro cheaper with feels a little bit of a pity.

I love your brand and I’m a customer of the A+345 collection since 4years.

The first year my zipper broke of my wallet only after a few months, but I ordered a new one because it’s my favorite item.
Sadly enough this year I was not able to order for several weeks due an error in the webshop ... and when I placed the big order of the wallet and the MacBook 12’ finally arrived last week, the items where badly scratched with big lines / traces that are very much visible in the leather.

In all admiration for the brand but I will not consider a new order.

Thank you for the review. However next time I will highly appreciate it if you could contact us in the first place. Therefore we could find the right solution for this issue. We weren't informed about any aspect which you have described.

Customers normally contact us and discuss the case, rather than immediately write the online reviews. We always try to find some compromise.

Regarding the leather scratches, I feel that I need to warm all of our clients that our products are made from the vegetable-tanned leather and this material has natural signs of an animal - it has wrinkles, scratches, and pimps. Only highly processed leather impregnated with toxic chemical ingredients is super smooth and perfect. Additionally in our case, some scratches might be a part of production process - sewing on the heavy industrial machine.

We produce pure handmade products and all of them in that sense might be imperfect for some of our clients. I understand your point in this case but I believe that we could discuss all of this in a proper email conversation and I'm truly sorry you didn't give it a chance.
