SCAM!

SCAM!! Bought a chair, then asked for a refund. The company said that they will issue a refund but after that they did not return the money back to me and it has been a year

Bought a desk and chair

Bought a desk and chair. Desk never arrived and chair broke after a while. Apart from that the rest of the transaction was terrible. I had to chase things all the time.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I've sent numerous emails to return 3 items and now my emails aren't getting through as the domain address no longer exists! Awful customer service.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company! Ordered a chair on 4th September, only to be told I would not receive the item until beginning Nov. Recently contacted them only to be told it's now going to be Dec. Asked for a full refund and now they're not replying to any of my emails. Beware!

They're selling the faulty item and it made my arm bled!!!

They sold the faulty item and made my arm injured. (Some part under the arm rest cover of the right side was missing and all the nails started penetrating through the cover, so I got injured as it made my arm bled a bit.)
When I contacted them, they said I have to buy replacement myself without providing any solution from their end even though it was the faulty item not due to wear and tear.
Since then, no response at all.
Avoid this company!!!

Apparently a scam company

Apparently a scam company. I made an order for a chair on August 7th for £255. At that time it said delivery would be in September. September arrived and I heard nothing. When I emailed to inquire they said there were delays and it would be early November. Early November arrived and I heard nothing. When I inquired they said mid-November. By then I had seen their Trustpilot score and was concerned I had been scammed. I requested a full refund. They proposed a 10% discount which I declined and requested a full refund and cancellation of the order. They since stopped replying.

Ordered a desk in May 2022, box arrived a few weeks later (no tracking advice or any communication). Went to put it up realised there was a box missing and I had half a desk, contacted the workalley on numerous occasions and was told they would chase it up with distribution company, have now asked for refund on 3 occasions and they have totally ignored all requests, may aswel have burnt £160. Don't know what kind of organisation this is but just avoid it! You'll end up disappointed and out of pocket.

Not a scam, just shambolic service and management

I ordered a chair at the end of September, THEN read all the bad reviews and knew I'd made a big mistake.

Unsurprisingly, my order never arrived in the time frame given, so I contacted The Work Alley to ask what the craic was. First I was told that the chair was out of stock in the colour I'd ordered, and they asked if I want to proceed with a different colour. Annoying, but I said yes, that's fine. They then confirmed that the order would be shipped in 3 days time.

Guess what? No luck. Emailed them again after 11 more days of waiting, only for them to tell me the other colour was out of stock... Wow. Then they issued a refund. Whole process from me ordering, waiting and chasing to getting a refund took about a month... What a colossal waste of time.

Unlike what others have experienced, their team did respond to me very quickly and did issue a refund, so I don't think the company is a scam. Just shambolic service and very, very poorly managed.

No fixtures and no reply

Bought a chair over 6 weeks ago from this company- came with no fixtures/ screws. The company said they would send them out and it’s been over a month and i’m still waiting and they have ignored, calls, emails and private instagram messages. Would not use again and would encourage others not to.

Poor quality and customer service

Poor quality of ceiling light which took weeks to arrive. When asking to return it keep getting emails back offering 10% discount if I keep item, next day 20%, next time 30%. Disgraceful company. Please do not buy from them.

I wish i read the reviews first

I bought a bamboo lamp shade.It looks ages to arrive and finally when it appears it was not as described. I have been requesting a refund. I keep get offered a discount however i want to return it . Now no replies just getting the silent treatment. I am having to go via my credit card. This company is a disgrace. Save your money !!! If i could give them a negative star rating i would.

EVERYTHING IS OUT OF STOCK

EVERYTHING IS OUT OF STOCK. I placed the order on the 21st September and I have just received a refund on the 17th October.

30th of September they informed be the Chair was out of stock, I asked how long the wait was, they confirmed 1 week so I agreed to wait.

I have to chase on the 13th of October, they reply on the 14th saying the chair is out of stock. Annoyed at this point I look at their site for an.alternaive chair that isnt showing as out of stock, send them the link and suggest as an alternative.

No reply until today when I receive a credit and a note saying that the other chair is out of stock. I have checked the site and this chair is still showing in stock.

Dont waste your time!

not a scam, but...

pros: I bought an office chair, happy with quality for what I paid for.

cons: no shipping/tracking info and zero communication during shipping process, I live in the UK, it took about 2 weeks to arrive. So I assume they don't have a warehouse in EU or UK, and it was shipped from china, they probably don't even have a office in UK.(I googled their address, doesn't look like a office to me)

The funny thing is, 3 days after I got the chair I received a tracking number.... like seriously? lol

yes VERY SKETCHY! but since the price is so good, I may buy from them again when they put things on sale.

Appalling customer service - they do not listen

This company isn't a scam in my opinion, but I personally wouldn't use them again because their customer service is appalling!
I ordered 3 products on 27 August 2022. 2 out of the 3 items arrived promptly, they were for my son and he was happy with them; 2 LED corner standing lights.
The 3rd item, despite being marked as dispatched on 29 August, hadn't been because tracking said "We're expecting your parcel from your sender. We will provide updates here once we receive it".
I emailed TheWorkAlley supportattheworkalley.co.uk on 7 September asking for the item to be cancelled and for them to issue a refund.
Instead, they shipped another out to me! The rigmarole that ensued between 7 - 22 September with countless emails back and forth, them saying the same thing pretty much every time and not listening/reading my messages was enough to make you want to bang your head against a brick wall.
If you want a sore head and a terrible headache, buy from them. If not, I would avoid.

This Company is an absolute SCAM!!

This Company is an absolute SCAM! Products are delivered broken or incomplete. Support only replies with the same questions over and over again and refuses to solve the issue. I don't believe they even speak English. The UK phone nubmer only leads to a mailbox that apparently reached its max capacity of messages. DO NOT ORDER HERE!!!

i purchased this chair 2 weeks ago and it arrived today. the majority of people on here were saying it was a scam so i was abit worried after i purchased it. but it came and was really easy to set up and was fairly cheap for a chair of this quality
