The USA Candy Company

Made two orders they never shipped. Rung up to ask why got screamed at like a child for using klarna and how they don't fulfill orders from cheap heads. Worst company ever and have reported both orders to Newcastle trading standards.

I was extremely excited when I found some Fantales were still available online and super happy to purchase some. Although when I did my ordered, I tried to do a pay in 4 on PayPal but that didn’t work. So I just processed in full. Then it said “something went wrong, payment failed” yet when I checked my bank account the 49.99 had come out. So I called them, and the man on the phone (who rudely kept talking over me) just said it was a PayPal problem and it had nothing to do with them. It will come back into my account at some point.
So I called PayPal, and spoke to a very polite and lovely lady who explained that the $49.99 payment had been processed in full and would not return to me as they have received it. I told her what the other person from the candy company told me and so she gave me an order no from PayPals end to confirm. When I called the candy company back the man (who didn’t give his name) just kept saying the pay in 4 did not process and it will come back, I tried to explain again to him that, that’s not the problem. The problem was, the payment had come out in full yet I had no confirmation email to say the order was received or being processed ect. Then he tells me he’ll have to get someone else to check on another system in a couple of hours and he’ll call me back…. Not sure why he couldn’t do it himself as I did ask him to. So I guess we’ll see. I get that technical problems happen and people usually aren’t to blame. But my first job of two years was P.A. to the accounts manager and secretary of a school/offices construction company and have been in hospo for 10 years and the professionalism I was met with on the phone was absolutely disgraceful.
If I were his boss and heard the way he was talking to customers (who pays the bills mind you) I would have fired him on the spot.
Also the fact that the rudeness expanded over two phone conversations was very shocking. Not good enough as a company. Online or not.

He called me back and the third time was So different. He still couldn’t find my transaction so no idea what happened but oh well because his attitude was perfectly professional and polite. I was extremely impressed. And I will try to do a phone order with them next time instead of paypal

We were delighted to be the winners of the recent raffle - the vast variety of American ‘candy’ received made my kids very happy indeed... they are 31 and 26!!!!
Thank you very much... we definitely can recommend the variety you sell (I was allowed to sample a few of the sweets too!)

Delivery time was quick, prices weren’t too bad, delivery price was a bit high but overall good quality. package wasn’t damaged, food wasn’t out of date or damaged and nice conversation on emails

Wide selection and possibility to select from a list or purchase a ready made box. We personally like the Manhattan. Excellent and fast delivery too. Never disappointed. Highly recommend!
