Attended TTC speed awareness course online via Zoom. It was easy enough to do although I struggled to get my smart phone on landscape view but I managed eventually. Sue the trainer was lovely. She put... See more

Something everyone should do l, be good for newly qualified drivers too
Trainer was very knowledgeable. Full of interesting and useful information to take away. The pace was good and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions and also have breaks if needed.
It was easy to attend the zoom course
It was easy to attend the zoom course. The trainer Desmond was very efficient in registering us all and informed us every step of the way what was happening. A thoroughly informative course with encouraged participation. Desmond was an excellent tutor and the content was very engaging. The no in the group was just right too. I would 100% recommend
Missed the mark
First it can review its course content and eliminate factual inaccuracies (eg the 130,000 death and injured a year was not as implied by course content and instructor - speed related. Only 12% of that figure resulted from speed related factors - stats readily available from ONS.)
Cardiff Trials of 20 mph were NOT successful, as claimed in fact The Welsh Assembly has curtailed the roll out.
Second it needs to get trainers who really know their stuff. We had 2 - one did one didn’t.
Having been on the Drive Tech one some years ago, the content was more engaging and the tutors more lively and knowledgable.
Splendid Course Instructor!
The course instructor was splendid, she was firm but very warm and with an essential sense of humour. I learned a lot, and it's already made me more careful in the driving seat. I would recommend it to anyone, whether they've committed an offence or not. It was very enlightening. But I also actually enjoyed it!
great communication
Tim was a great communicator and encouraging educator. He made the course really useful. In future I suggest that his partner on the course speak slower and more clearly so that she can be understood. A greater choice of location with a centre closer to home would also be useful.
Excellent course and the great trainers
Excellent course and the trainers were extremely knowledgeable, whilst also being able to put everybody at ease.
I wasn't looking forward to the course but finished the day having really enjoyed it.
Good communication before the course as well.

This was an interesting course, clearly presented
This was an interesting course, and it helped greatly that the person running it, Ashley, spoke very clearly as well as picking up all the queries we had.

The course instructor was a fantastic trainer and communicator. I had a preconceived view that this would be a punishment course but that was completely wrong. I'd recommend taking this course even if you haven't been caught speeding.
Good course
Whislt nobody wants to do one of these courses this one was well put together and excellently delivered. A definitely better alternative to the fine and licence points.

cameras no substitute for police patrols.
Police catch those that break the law and educate at the roadside where appropriate. cameras don't catch those with no licence tax or insurance so my misdemeanor gets me 100 quid lighter and 3 hours of my life I won't get back.
interesting to see all attendees were middle-aged. took eye if the ball for seconds. bam.... course .
course was good and taken like a man.
instructor was knowledgeable and made the course almost a joy. educated yes.
worth doing yes.
Succint, concise and well worth taking the time to do!
This course was delivered in a very friendly and concise way- I was out at my ease straightaway and didn't feel at all condescended to in its delivery.
Really appreciated the chance to have open discussions around speed awareness and the risks speeding poses and have finished the course feeling better equipped with techniques to reduce the risk of speeding and with a renewed determination to not do it again! Would definitely recommend. Jim from Bradford was wonderful at putting us at our ease and delivering the course in an understandable and accessible way.
