Finished the 9 day course and so pleased me and my son Louis chose to drive all the way from London for this . Louis had never laid a tile before and I had done a bit but Stu was so patient with us all . Explaining everything as we went along . Very hands on and very welcoming. This is the course you need to choose if your interested in a career change or just want to learn for yourself. Great set up there all very relaxed and friendly . Really couldn’t ask for more . Met some great people who have all seemed to go there own way and make a go of it all from the 9 days we had on this course . Laid lots of tiles and done some really interesting stuff , plus plenty of theory which was very well set out by Stu . Finished a nine day course last week at the Tiling Academy and I can say it was worth every penny. Been wanting to do tiling for a while now and the opportunity came after being made redundant. Was definitely worth doing, the course from day one definitely showed what a great tutor Stuart was. He made it interesting and fun and showed, how if you were willing to learn what you could achieve. I like a challenge in any type of job and stu certainly gave me them, I've learned so much doing the course and I'm confident enough that I'm setting up on my own. If you are thinking of doing a tiling course then dont look any further than the Tiling Academy, I met five good lads there and every day was a great laugh, I can honestly say a course with top marks.

Fresh off the 9 day tiling course and I can’t find the words to describe what an amazing experience it’s been.

To some things up, I’ve felt challenged and then greatly rewarded when over coming those challenges.
I’ve met some great people and had a really good laugh.
And most importantly I’ve learned a skill for life and it’s all thanks to Stu.

Stu is an outstanding teacher and very dedicated.
He’ll make time and listen to any questions or concerns you may have and then explain in detail, so don’t worry you’re in good hands.

I felt a really good vide from the academy and I only wish the course could of lasted longer.
I hope everyone feels the same way once the course has been completed, and remember to make the most of it as time really does fly.

I just attended the September 9 day course. Stu was exactly what we needed to learn how to tile. It's a lot more hands on than I realized and we only did theory when it was absolutely necessary. Stu split the days into specific units and helped us when we needed it. His instructions were direct and straight to the point, it was a lot of information so I really appreciated this. He had lots of goodies for us to keep us going as its physical hard work, and the atmosphere was great. We were all having a laugh whilst we worked. I feel comfortable to do tiling by myself which is what I needed. I am not handy and its given me so much confidence.

I have attended many courses over the years in various different subjects, however, consider the 9-day professional tiling course to be one of, if not the best course I have ever been on. The course is excellent value for money as most courses are designed to provide you with enough information to pass an assessment without providing the necessary skills to carry out the work. This is definitely not the case with this course. As there is no examination at the end of the course total focus is placed on converting attendees with no or very little tiling experience into competent tilers. Clearly, as with any skill, practise and experience will improve speed and quality of work, however, at the end of the course attendees will have been provided with the knowledge and skills to find employment as a tiling professional.
The day starts with a theory session and the rest of the day is spent putting that theory into practise. There is someone from the training team in attendance at all times and you are constantly encouraged with positive feedback. The work is physically strenuous with a lot of kneeling, bending and mixing and to obtain the maximum benefit from the course and to hit the ground running when you start work as a tiler, my advice would be to be reasonably fit when you attend. Although, it is not a pre-requisite as I wasn’t and still really enjoyed every minute.
The course is a family affair run by Stu, Cheryl, James and Chris and they have created an easy going, relaxed, friendly atmosphere which makes the course so enjoyable and each day and the course in total, fly by. The facilities are outstanding and provide you with everything you need and there is always a plentiful supply of tea, coffee, biscuits and confectionery if a sugar boost is needed when you are flagging. I highly recommend this course to anybody considering becoming a professional tiler due to the outstanding value for money, facilities and the calibre of the staff.

i have just completed the 9 day tiling course.i would recommend this course to anyone keen on learing how to tile. great facility and great staff, not only do you learn how to tile walls and floors, lay underfloor heating and tanking skills, you will leave with the the knowledge and confidence to go out n find work for yourself, even starting your own business if thats what you want. big shout out to all the lads on my course we all smashed it, and a bigger shoutout to the main man stu what a guy. get it booked!!!!!!

I have just finished the 9 day course, I would highly recommend to go ahead an do the course! I had some tiling experience before I came on the course but after it i have gained all the confidence that I was after an what I needed to go on to start my own tiling business. Everything about the course was brilliant, full of needed information an also full of difficult tasks that are thrown at you in the real world and you need to learn deal with them yourself, the course helps you with this. From day 1 the tutor, stu, makes you feel at ease, we learnt about all the methods of tiling, which materials to use an when to use them, we also learnt how to do under floor heating and also tanking in a bathroom, this can benefit you massively as you don’t have to wait on other tradesmen to do a job, you can do it yourself and pocket extra money on the job for very little extra effort.

I have just completed the 9 day professional tiling course at Knowsley industrial estate, Liverpool. From day 1 you are made to feel at ease. The tutor Stu is very very knowledgeable concerning all things Re, tiling. I came away from there with a wealth of knowledge and will definitely now have the confidence to take that plunge in to the real world of tiling. We learnt all about the different styles, methods, tools and their uses. Also learnt about tanking and wet rooms, underfloor heating. Majority of the time you are actually doing the practical side of things. Get your hands dirty, get stuck in and get booked on this course. You will definitely benefit from this academies training.

Stu, Jay, and Cheryl, at the tiling academy where brilliant, learnt a lot on the course, how to lay out a bathroom, and kitchen with tiles, and how to do splashbacks, Stu was very knowledgeable and professional, he would give you any answer to any question that you needed, would highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn tiling as a career, or to just learn for doing it at home for yourself, go for it.

Start to finish the experience was professional thorough enjoyable I done the 9 day professional course top tier training built my confidence stu an young jay always there ready to help.

All i can say is its the best place if one is looking to start career in tiling they might not be a super big company but are very professional and honest, learned a lot from stu and his skills also course was 90% practical as advertised and he charges lot less for what he actually teaches ..

I have just completed the 9 day tiling course and thoroughly enjoyed every minute the course gives you all the right guidance under the excellent tutor Stu who runs the course like clockwork. The knowledge combined with the practical skills prepares you for the skills needed to be confident

I have just completed a 9 day Professional Tiling course at The Tiling Academy and really enjoyed the experience provided by this friendly, family-run business. The course was delivered in a most accepting, encouraging and informative way. Instructors were on hand at all times to answer queries and help solve any problems/issues that needed addressing. The facilities and equipment provided were top class and the whole atmosphere was one of expected success, resulting from a combination of honest effort and expert tuition. Just completed the 9 day course & it was brilliant. Great set up & a very good family run business. I feel that taking part in this course has given me the confidence to go out & do tiling jobs straight away to a high standard, with the best ways to set out in different situations & what tools are important & needed to get for the job.
