Hi Evan

Hi Evan, Just had to tell you how fantastic Daykx and Judi are! They took the stress of the very long flight and made immigration a minor speed bump! Answering every question with a smile. The best way to say it is that they are professionals!! We saw 10 condos in two days and when I found ‘The One’ , they made it happen. Today was signing day and while I placed pen to paper Daykx guided me along with transfer of funds and keeping the event light. Last but not lease is Judi. She started by being a driver but is so much more! Manilla traffic was an afterthought and more importantly were her connections. Our favorite line about them is that, ‘She knows a guy.’ I mean everything about the both of them was spot on! Thank you for sending them my way and if you ever open a branch in Cebu, as a satisfied customer you best make sure both Daykx and Judi are behind the wheel and in no time they will prove to you as she knows alittle bit about something. Respectfully 🙏🏽 BC

Today marks my 3 month milestone in Cebu

Today marks my 3 month milestone for arriving in Cebu. Moving to another country is a huge decision, and the team at Savvy Expat made the entire process so much easier. From the beginning, everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, always willing to answer questions and provide support.

A special thank you to Daykx, who went above and beyond. She spent time showing me numerous properties in Cebu, offering honest, practical advice on each one rather than trying to influence my decision. Her local knowledge and guidance gave me the confidence to choose the right condo for my new life in the Philippines. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always patient, approachable, and committed to helping. Also a big shout out to our driver Judie, who was great and a safe driver.

I highly recommend Savvy Expat to anyone thinking about relocating to the Philippines. Their service, local expertise, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful experience smooth and enjoyable. Thank you for helping me start this exciting new chapter in Cebu!

Thanks all!

Thanks all!

Jesy, we want to say thanks for everything you’ve done to help us get settled in BGC. You and the team (we can clearly see how all Savvy team members contribute to make things successful) handled so much in such a short time—from finding us a fantastic condo in a perfect neighborhood (below budget 🥳) to helping us navigating so many logistics including our visas and getting our phone and internet set up. BTW…healthcare through Rachel has also been terrific.

We’ve especially appreciated the warmth you bring to everything, along with your “let’s get it done” attitude. We truly wouldn’t be where we are today without you and the great Savvy team.

And beyond all the logistics, you’ve given us something just as valuable: peace of mind during this exciting new chapter of our lives. ❤️

The Savvy Expat Is Legit

We are now enjoying our stay in the Philippines having found a home in Bonifacio Global City. This place has always been our preference since we started mulling about relocating here and selling our home in the US.

We have been scouting the area in the years prior staying in area hotels and Air BnB units. So we pretty much have an idea where to settle and live in an environment similar to what we have been used to back in the States.

Finding the right people and knowing where to look was a different matter though. We were aware of the pitfalls of just going through it without the right connections and assistance of a dedicated team of relocation specialists.
We finally decided to get in touch with The Savvy Expat after watching his YouTube channel and videos documenting the positive outcomes of numerous expats and retirees in their quest of finding the right place for them here in the Philippines.

I had some qualms about it after reading some negative reviews on Reddit about Evan when he was just starting his business. However, as his business and channel thrived, the positives outweighed the negatives. So I made that leap of faith and here we are in BGC having a great time in our retirement.

They helped us with the logistics, transport to and from the airport, shopping for the basics and obtaining Phil Health coverage, additional private health insurance and opening a bank account here. Help obtaining a Philippine passport here will also be in the works at a later date when we are ready.

This is a testimonial to what Evan and his team can do for prospective clients who engage his services.

Evan and his team are SUPERSTARS!

Evan’s team was amazing from the start! I had high expectations based on the YouTube videos of previous clients, but my experience was even better than anticipated.
From the initial online/phone presentation to the personal entourage of team members escorting me to view condos, gain my temporary Visa, obtain a Drivers License, negotiate my lease, buy a motorcycle, get groceries, find a triathlon coach, download local Apps, etc etc!!! These people are just absolutely amazing! I met Evan at a private club for a chat in Manila. He’s a great guy and very passionate about his business! I spent the first week in Manila, but opted to focus on Cebu since I’m more interested in beaches and water that the big metropolitan lifestyle! Daykx and Judie were my main team of Professionals to make sure everything was smooth and successful. They showed me every property available in the entire area and never complained about my ultra high expectations. I explained that I wasn’t moving all this way if the situation wasn’t extraordinary. Even though I planned to return to my home in the USA, I ended up finding a great place in Lapu-Lapu, Cebu and signed a year lease!
So, if this is a potential move for anyone who is considering a life altering decision… do yourself a huge favor and hire the Savvy Expat team to make your journey a smooth and enjoyable experience! Special thanks to Daykx and Judie for all the work and kindness they put into my experience! They are SUPERSTARS!! ⭐️ ⭐️

Trust the Savvy Expat Team

I chose the Savvy Expat team to assist me in relocating from the US to the Philippines in November. I absolutely made the right decision. This highly professional team is handling every aspect of the move. They have made the entire process stress-free. They are in the process of finding my dream condo (during my scouting trip I was highly impressed with the viewings), assisting with the Special Resident Retirement Visa and constantly providing me with excellent transition guidance. The team will also help me to navigate the banking system, assist with getting me set-up to handle daily requirements (i.e procuring a SIM card, utilities, medical, and concierge support, etc..). Evan and his team have built a highly successful business because they consistently deliver! I am looking forward to becoming another satisfied customer and being a part of the Savvy Expat family. Many thanks to this team for everything that they have already done for me!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review — The Savvy Expat Group

An Exceptional Resource for Expats — Knowledge, Professionalism, and Genuine Support!

Relocating to another country is not simply a change of address; it is a life-changing journey that requires careful planning, informed decisions, and trustworthy guidance. As a retired educator with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and nearly four decades of professional experience, I have learned to recognize organizations that genuinely distinguish themselves through excellence, integrity, and a commitment to serving others.

The Savvy Expat Group deserves recognition for the invaluable role it plays in helping expatriates navigate life in the Philippines.

After retiring from a 39-year career in education in the United States, I made the significant decision to begin a new chapter of my life in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, Philippines. While this transition has been exciting and rewarding, I also understand firsthand the challenges associated with establishing a new life thousands of miles from home.

What I particularly appreciate about the Savvy Expat Group is its emphasis on providing expats with information, guidance, and a supportive community to make that transition more manageable.

For those of us who have spent our careers evaluating leadership, organizational effectiveness, and quality service, certain qualities stand out: credibility, responsiveness, professionalism, and a sincere desire to help people succeed. These are the standards I value in any organization serving the expatriate community.

The Philippines is an extraordinary country, filled with remarkable people, rich culture, and tremendous opportunities for those seeking a fulfilling retirement or a fresh beginning. However, successfully navigating immigration requirements, residency options, financial considerations, housing, and everyday life requires access to reliable resources.

Organizations and communities like the Savvy Expat Group can make a meaningful difference in that journey.

My message to fellow Americans and other international expats considering the Philippines is simple: Surround yourself with knowledgeable people, ask the right questions, and take advantage of reputable resources that can help you make informed decisions.

Retirement should not represent the end of your greatest accomplishments. It should provide the freedom to create an entirely new chapter filled with purpose, adventure, personal growth, and opportunity.

I am grateful for resources that help make that possible.

Congratulations to the Savvy Expat Group for its commitment to the expatriate community. Keep educating, empowering, and connecting people who have made—or are preparing to make—the Philippines their home!

Daykx is amazing!

The team executed the expectations/contractual deliverables. Shout out specifically to Daykx. She is the epitome of class, professionalism and “get it done by any method/cost required. This woman is absolutely a gem and Evan is lucky to have her on the team. I would have hired her on at any of the plethora of Fortune 500 companies I have worked at. She has gone up and beyond my expectations each and every time.

getting off the couch and making a decision for your life

Listen, I need to take a moment and publicly confess: back in late 21/22 I fell down the Evan and The Savvy Expat rabbit hole. At the time, I was still grinding away at NYC Transit, dreaming of retirement. I’d watch Evan talk about life in the Philippines, stroke my chin, and think, “Hmm… intriguing.”
I retired in sept of 22 decided to packed my bags in may of 23, and l flew out as a casual tourist. Cebu! El Nido! Bohol! It was absolute magic. But like most people, I came home, got caught up in the routine, and kept telling myself, “I’ll make the real move eventually.”
Well, life has a funny way of kicking u in ur ass when it’s time to make a power move.
I fired up Evan’s expat videos again and said I need this “Screw it, im pulling the trigger,” and reached out directly to Evan And let me tell you: Evan didn't give me the sleazy, used-car-salesman pitch. The man was pure sincerity—he actually believes in what he’s doing, and it shows.
I got my financial affairs in order IE sold my home moved into a apartment so I can have time to assess my assets.booked my ticket. Despite the airlines actively trying to test my sanity with flight mishaps, I finally landed this past Monday. The moment Jess and her team picked me up, the stress evaporated. I knew instantly I was in expert hands.
People always say, “You only live once.” Respectfully? I disagree. You only die once—you can live as many lives as you damn well choose. And thanks to Evan and his incredible team, I am officially launching other Chapter in my life.one of the
Best decision I've made. 10/10, no notes!

The Savvy Expat makes it easy

The Savvy Expat is like a modern day "Girl Friday." Laser-focused that inspires confidence. Evan's team listens to your requirements, makes a plan, then accomplishes it, seven days a week. They even took me into Manila to go to the VA Clinic although I didn't request it. They are wired into the BGC network that gets things done efficiently. Jesy, my "Girl Friday", made sure my lease was rewritten to protect me. I definitely recommend you use them, money well spent.

I believe that the cost of $4000.00 for…

I believe that the cost of $4000.00 for their services far out way what you receive from them. An example is that they pick you up from the airport, but I hired someone to pick me up for $40.00. I got an Airbnb for $1000.00 by myself for 30 days-no issue. They stated that they would have a visa consultant follow up with me, but I would need to pay them directly no credit on the $4000.00. The only item I did not use them for was the negotiating with the landlord for a rental price, but I don't believe that warrants the cost for their services. I believe that paying for an Airbnb is a better use of your funds,

Initiated a consultation with him and asked for $4,000 for his relocation services (up front). Was sent a contract on a word document that was clearly made by a child. Do not trust this "Expert", read his reviews and ou'll soon discover the whole thing is a scam.

BEWARE!!

BEWARE!!! I paid $3500 to move my family to Cebu City. Cebu was then wracked with two typhoons and a major earthquake. I kindly responded to Evans, the owner, asking for a refund as... WHY WOULD I MOVE MY FAMILY TO A DISASTER ZONE??? He tried to convince me to move to Manila, which for a myriad of reasons, we never wanted in the first place. This crook kept my money and I haven't heard from him since. If you aren't an old man moving to the Phillipines because you can't pull western women anymore, I would be very cautious dealing with this scammer. Good riddance, Evan. I don't need the money, obviously you do. Worst customer experience ever.

The reason I moved to the Philippines

I had been living in Thailand for a few things looking for a more enjoyable and easier life but the weather was too hot and lifestyle wasn't for me.

After seeing Savvy Expat and watching all his content on Youtube I took a leap and booked a call. Really pleasant experience and glad I joined his program.
