Great Experience

AJ made our first purchasing experience wonderful! She took the time to provide us with many options for in regard to what we were looking for and for the budget we wanted to spend. Very positive experience.

Disgusted!!!

I have been attempting to contact corporate because I am trying to make a claim. I purchased a 5-year warranty on every piece I purchased Someone should be held accountable. I need proof of my warranty and purchase. I went into the store and they said they could not see I bought a chest. The store only has I canceled a chest. I did not cancel it was delivered to my address the same address they delivered the bed. The chest was on back-order it was not in stock due to COVID. My Chest is broken and my bed is weak I would like to use the warranty I purchased. I am very upset that I paid thousands of dollars to receive this type of service from The Room Place. There was not a problem accepting my money, but now when I need help they are not helping me. I am a heart patient I am dissatisfied with this whole situation. I will warn any and everyone not to purchase anything from The Roomplace.

A great place 👍🏼

When entering I was overwhelmed with the large selection, the sale associate Maria was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the different dining room sets that were available. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured, with Maria help and working with my delivery schedule I was able to get a great deal on a set that fits my budget and my needs. I would recommend The Room Place in Arlington Heights on Rand Road to anyone. Ask for Maria you won’t be disappointed 👍🏼

I purchased a sectional and was told…

I purchased a sectional and was told that delivery would be on the 26th of August. Then once I made the purchase, i was told the 28th of Aug. I said okay. Then a week later, I received a text stating there’s a backlog and delivery would be Sept 3rd. A few days later, I received another text stating delivery will be on Sept 17th. This is unacceptable!!

Don’t expect being eligible for financing

Liked:salesman was very knowledgeable of merchandise on floor but not so much on options.
Didn’t like: disappointed that someone with a credit rating of 810 and $91k salary did not qualify for 6 months interest free financing but instantly was approved for a 39% interest rate credit card. That’s not what I wanted and now I have to go through the trouble of canceling this credit card because the store “could” not cancel it after they processed the request????? Sounds pretty fishy. Or how about the promise that my couch would be delivered after 3pm a couple of days only to get blasted with robo-like texts with “delivery windows” all in the morning when I work. Finally ending with a delivery wait of 10 days. Never again buying here

As for our delivery time frames, you are texted 3 days prior to scheduled delivery and then the evening prior to scheduled delivery and given a 3 hour time frame estimate. Experience was terrific

Experience was terrific. Sam and Dave were so helpful and will definitely be shopping with them again. They made it so convenient. We walked in not expecting to buy and walked out with a whole new living room set.

Just the right amount of everything!

Kori was the BEST! Just the right amount of helpful. Friendly and polite - and she had some great ideas to go along with our plans. She was the reason that we went back the next day to make our purchase. Our experience could not have been better! Luis was there to complete our purchase and made everything so simple! Great furniture and a great price made even better by great people!

Lack of c Communication

I ordered furniture on July '24, came in a week later to add warranty, then
came in 2weeks later for a price adjustment..3 days ago it won't be delivered it's discontinued, so when was anyone going to tell me..I cancelled the order..but since Room place already did a hard inquiry I had no choice but stay..now I have redo my entire living room because I knew I was getting the furniture..so disappointed

Quick, easy, great style.

Eman was not pushy at all and let us wander around looking for what we needed. Once we found it, it was a quick process to purchase and had our items delivered Monday (we bought Saturday).
