The size was wrong on The Real Real site from the item I received. I told the person helping me that I didn’t have time for a return at the beginning of the chat. The sizing issue was because of The Real Real’s sizing mistake, and could have been avoided had they checked the sizing label inside of the shoe. In the end I wasted time and money, and have shoes that don’t fit me. I don’t want to be told that The Real Real will “waive the shipping fee” for me after 10 minutes of chatting and checking on representative checking the details that they missed from the beginning. It felt like I got taken advantage of by The Real Real and they put the work on me, leaving me without a refund and wasting my time.
The item was as described so no complaints. but I have two comments. This is, by far, the most I have ever spent on a handbag and I don't regret indulging for once in my life. But I have to say I expected the packaging to be much better. The bag was shoved in a shipping box, not even stuffed to help keep its shape and the tissue paper and dust bag were separate. I know for a fact the dust bag was NOT a YSL and it was in bad shape. Rather than sending some beat up old generic dust bag, just skip it altogether. I honestly expected the bag in its own box, not directly in the shipping carton, paper stuffed in the bag and tissue paper around the bag the way you would a gift. I see more care in the packaging for items for a fraction of the cost that I buy from Etsy. The second issue was shipping. I will never use standard shipping again. It took literally 13 days to reach me (ordered 6/25 received July 8) and the delivery date was changed twice. Horrible. I just made another purchase and paid the extra $20 for expedited shipping. Just a heads up to future customers

I gave them a new pair of Sorel après ski boots never worn, in the box, price on them $240. A pair of Saks black leather boots, NWT in box, $350. A super thick, large kors backpack, $300, excellent condition, and an Overlander large unused canvas and leather bag 190. I got a check for 57.59 FOR EVERYTHING. OVER $1,OOO IN GOODS FOR 57.59.

I generally love TRR. But I ordered a pair of boots listed as brown and they are black and now I need to return them. I have noticed a handful of products with incorrect or conflicting listing details in the last few days. I reached out to your chat about it twice - first to ask for a clarification - second just to report this issue to your attention but I’ll write it here too. First chat was about a red jacket listed as wool but under materials did not show wool, rather 2 synthetic materials that added up to 100% so I was asking which part of the entire listing to trust. She told me (after I asked) that they use AI but then a human checks it. I’m not sure the human is checking it at all or if they are, perhaps not super thoroughly. She told me to trust the description and that I can order it and decide, but that they don’t have access to the product to double check the materials. I just wanted to bring this to your attention because it’s now happened for a product that was actually delivered to me (the boots) which was irritating. It’s frustrating, hard to know what info to trust, and it impacts my shopping experience and desire to purchase (esp with $16 shipping and $8 restocking fee). So it happened for the black/brown Manolo boots, the red (wool?) evening jacket, and then a blatantly orange skirt listed as a “neutral” for color. This might not be all of it. Please fix your systems because I love TRR and want to shop with confidence <3

I feel like I was duped. The measurements listed for the bag were off by an inch. I reviewed the measurements listed and when I received the bag, it was not as long nor as deep as the measurements listed. That does not make me feel confident should I want to purchase another item. We should not have to pay for the ability to return an item that was described incorrectly. This was first and last purchase on your site.

I had an Hermes bag and a Hermes bracelet that they could not authenticate. I don’t know what the problem was it was stamped inside of the bag but they just returned it. They had other bags identical to it online so I was very confused why this couldn’t be authenticated.
