Fantastic physical therapy services…

Fantastic physical therapy services provided! We had two therapists Raj and David who helped my mom get her independence back after her hip replacement. They were so kind and caring. Tanya Campbell the business director was exceptional also. She was so kind and helpful navigating all our needs from getting my mom into Cambridge Manor at a moments notice to helping set up the two best therapists you could ever ask for! I don’t know what I would have done without all of them. Thank you would not be enough!

I can highly recommend physiotherapist…

I can highly recommend physiotherapist Wilson. He arrives with a big smile ready to put my father through his paces. My father came out of the stroke unit, unable to walk, having to be hoisted, a few months ago. My father is now walking with a frame, which is fabulous. It has improved his life, he looks happy when he walks. Wilson has trained the carers to walk my father and now the hoist is not used. Wilson treats my father holistically, he takes cues from him in deciding how much to do with him. Some days it’s more than others. My father has achieved way more than we ever thought was possible under the care of Wilson. He just seems to get the balance right between pushing my father to improve his strength, and being mindful that he is 90 years old and some days he is just too tired.

“Thank you so much for sharing your father’s progress with us. We are delighted to hear how far he has come since leaving the stroke unit, and it’s inspiring to know he is now walking with a frame and enjoying greater independence. Wilson’s holistic approach—balancing encouragement with sensitivity to your father’s energy levels—reflects the care we aim to provide. We’re also pleased that his guidance has empowered the carers to support your father confidently, reducing the need for a hoist. Your kind words mean a great deal to our team, and we are proud to have played a part in improving your father’s quality of life.”

Completely Unprofessional — Cannot Recommend Therapies on Thames

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I now feel compelled to because of what has happened with Therapies on Thames.

I approached them in good faith to arrange care for my 93‑year‑old mother. On Wednesday 10 December 2025 I was asked to provide all of her information, with no indication that new patients could not be taken on. If they were not accepting patients, why ask for all that information? That should have been known and communicated from the very beginning.

What shocked me further was being asked whether I, or someone connected to me, had left a negative review about the service. This was not the case. In fact, no review could possibly have been left because we had not even used the service, nor had I discussed it with anybody. I am convinced this situation is connected to the mistaken belief that we had left a negative review, which feels wholly inappropriate and unprofessional.

Since sending my concerns across, there has been no communication at all. I find this wholly unacceptable and very unprofessional.

My priority is my mother’s wellbeing, and the way this situation has been managed has left me disappointed and concerned about the professionalism of the service. As a result of all of this, I cannot recommend Therapies on Thames. Clear communication and respect should be the minimum standard when dealing with families seeking support.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to clarify that Therapies on Thames is not an emergency service. When families contact us, we collect patient information at the outset so that we can quickly assess needs and identify a suitable therapist if capacity allows. If we do not have availability, we make this clear as soon as possible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or concern caused during your recent enquiry. Your comments are important to us, and we will use them to strengthen our communication and ensure families feel supported from the very first contact.”

Caring and encouraging!😃

This company has been helpful, consistent and supportive in its administration and the therapy provided.
Simon has been a great physio, caring, encouraging and has managed to get my Mum rehabilitated after a bad fall and a hospital stay. He has worked closely with Mum and her family. He has shown compassion, understanding and has persevered to get a positive result.
