The boutique inn is a project of preservation and modernization as it captures the essence of the 1941 wartime Quonset Hut located on the historic dividing line between the ancient Spanish land grant El Ranchos and modern California. Spared from possible demolition, restored and reimagined into a charming 10 room inn The Q Inn is now open! Inspired by its rich history, the natural elements of sand, sea, and sky, The Quonset Inn is beautifully unpretentious, with it's unique arched architectural shape and soaring central crown visible as you walk through the doors, the Q is a reflection of our guests urbanity appreciation of the past and the glory of Morro Bay's natural beauty. Feel the distinction, the subtleties and casual style the moment you enter one of our ten modern elegant rooms which all have a nod to the history of Morro Bay.
