Have ordered several times from Pi Hut, always without problems and delivered promptly. Until the last order that is, which was lost without trace by Royal Mail. I contacted Pi Hut support, and after they got no joy from RM, sent a replacement order that arrived next day. Well done Jayde at Pi Hut! A mark of a good firm is one that deals promptly with complaints, so no hesitation in giving full marks.

Ordered on a Sunday afternoon, realised an hour later i had made a mistake and replied to their confirmation email to ask to cancel the order.
Received an email Monday morning saying would not cancel order and I would have to wait for dispatch and then return at own cost.
Customer service attitude was very standoffish and blamed me for not reading all their sales T&Cs before ordering.
They seemed upset i had even bothered to ask them for a cancellation. As it was clearly stated when "raising an ticket with us". (It wasn't)
I agree with them. This is mentioned on a dedicated cancellation policy page. It is not mentioned during the order process, on their delivery page or order confirmation email however.
Although it is my fault for not reading this page before ordering, probably because i find it is rare that i order goods from a website with intention of cancelling them, It would be good if they improved their supply chain to allow for cancellations prior to dispatch. The environmental would benefit from two less deliveries.
Anyway policy followed, goodwill lost.

Jayde the appointed support engineer, had excellent knowledge and diagnostic skills for the product that had failed. He confirmed that my failure diagnosis was indeed correct and replaced the faulty unit promptly.

Fantastic service.
Cannot fault the service or products from The Pi Hut.
But their service is what stands out. I am just starting out with all this and have ordered a number of items that were not required because of my lack of experience. The service has been first class every time, a real example of how service should be.
As a result, I buy with confidence and keep coming back.

An electric screwdriver I ordered had a fault after a couple of months (Defective battery).
A replacement was offered and delivered with no issues.

My order was handled and sent on the way in a few hours by The Pi Hut. Despite that it took 22 days for the order to reach the Customs on my side. (Not due to The Pi Hut)
During the waiting time I had a very good communication with The Pi Hut support team trying to find out the status of the delivery.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. DO NOT WAISTE UR MONEY. No contact phone no for customer service, the bussines is not registered anywhere. Did not receive my items though I am in Ireland and bussines in Uk as to date 24 th of April and item dispatched on the 9th. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LOOK FOR ALTERNATIVE SHOPS.

Service is impactable and awfully quick.
I had an issue with delivery of an item, which was not down to PiHut, and within the hour of me mentioning the issue to them, they had replied and had already confirmed that they would be sending a replacement.
I would have no issues in recommending this company at all.

No customer support at all
Received a defective home assistant + Pi module. Contacted support TWICE via their website's ticketing system... no answer.
No direct email address available, no call number. If you have a problem it seems you are on your own.

Not happy at all, received a touch screen that does not work, messaged 2 days ago and have had no reply back. It's really disappointing as it was for my son's birthday. One unhappy chappy, and more money out my pocket to order a replacement from amazon if they don't contact me back.
Edit: they have been in touch waiting on a refund for faulty product. Will update when I know more.
The refunded item, not sure what there saying is true as we sent photos and they never said that when they received the photos. But I got a refund no issue.

OK, so I had an issue with an item that I purchased from Pi Hut, it was dead on arrival. I used the support portal and received an absolutely superb service from the team.
Can't recommend them highly enough, the true test of a company is when things go wrong, and Pi Hut certainly stepped up and resolved the issue very speedily.
