So many things have made my experience better than great.
Dr. Kevin Tran who is the founder of the group is highly involved in the community. As an APOE 4/4 carrier himself he brings a cache of enormously helpful personal insights and a science-backed education and professionalism that validates the experience of being a member.
The Phoenix community itself is an internationally diverse group of people, the majority with APOE 3/4 and 4/4 alleles. They also come from a variety of backgrounds and bring their personal insights to the forum every single day. If you are looking for a reliable information source about APOE issues, a compassionate and support community of people, then look no further than the Phoenix community.
This resource will be the most important addition that you will add to your "warrior kit" for dealing with APOE, so do not delay.

Grateful for Phoenix Community
I am so grateful to have found the Phoenix Community. I discovered my APOE4/4 status over 10 years ago through 23andme - it was a shock and not something remotely on my radar. In December 2025 I came across Kevin Tran and this community; through Phoenix I am able to watch and listen to interviews with doctor's on the front line of Alzheimer's prevention, with member and physician expertise I have learned so much about lab/biomarker goals, supplements, and exercise. Overall, it's a community that allows me to learn, question and connect with others. I no longer feel helpless against my genetics and highly recommend this community to others in the same boat!

"I no longer feel helpless against my genetics." That line is the reason I built Phoenix. I carry APOE4/4 myself, and I needed a place to learn, ask questions and compare notes with people in the same boat.
