Absolutely horrible company and…

Absolutely horrible company and customer service. I had placed an order January 11th. On January 13th it was picked up and taken to a UPS warehouse for shipping. I assumed it would ship that afternoon or the following morning but nope. UPS apparently lost the package and no updates to the tracking have been made since then and it is now January 22nd. I blame The Oodie for using UPS in the first place, the worst courier company in the WORLD! They just have to use the cheapest possible shipping service instead of using USPS, FedEx or partnering with Amazon. But because of greed they choose the cheapest possible option to ship their products which in the end ends with more product loss for them so you’d think they’d wise up and choose a different courier service after this, but nope. Their response to my complaint was to just send another package with UPS again and see if this time it actually made it. Didn’t even offer express shipping or anything just “we’ll send you another one”. No thanks, I’ll just purchase something for half the price and will arrive in two days through Amazon.

In this case, the delay was due to UPS misplacing the parcel after collection, which unfortunately is something outside of our direct control. As soon as this became clear, our team worked to resolve the issue promptly and issued you a full refund for your order so you weren’t left out of pocket. I’m very sorry that this situation caused such a negative impression of our service, as the order itself was dispatched correctly and on time from our side. I also want to reassure you that we take courier performance seriously. While this experience was understandably frustrating, UPS has historically been a reliable and consistent delivery partner for the majority of our customers, which is why we continue to work with them. That said, we recognise that no courier is perfect, and isolated incidents like this are deeply unfortunate. Again, I’m very sorry that this happened and that your experience wasn’t what it should have been.

Awful customer service

Nina the RESOLUTION SPECIALIST is a bit special in the way she treats customers. We bought a weighted blanket and by the time it arrived they reduced the price. Naturally we asked for a refund of the 40% discount but Nina told us it can't be done unless we send the blanket back with £3.99 postage cost and then reorder the same blanket with 40% discount. This makes sense only to Nina as we could simply keep the blanked and have the 40% discount less the £3.99 she seems to be so worried about. That way we do not waste our and Nina's time, not to mention the proccess of posting, waiting for a collection, waiting for a delivery amd waiting for a refund, then waiting for a delivery of new / the same blanket. Seriously... they do not use common sense and somehow Nina takes joy in being difficult and complicating things. Avoid this company, they do not like helping customers and do not care about their reputation. Once they grab your money, you are on your own. We will still get our money back but to Nina's amusement- the hard way.

To clarify, our customer service agent, Nina, was following our standard policy, which applies to all promotions. Sale prices can only be honoured during the advertised promotional period, and unfortunately we are unable to retrospectively apply discounts to orders placed before a sale begins or after it ends. This is because promotional pricing is time‑limited and only valid for purchases made within those sale dates. For this reason, the only way to receive a lower sale price is to return the original order for a refund and then repurchase the item at the promotional rate. We understand that this process may feel inconvenient, and I’m genuinely sorry for that. However, it ensures fairness and consistency for all customers, as promotions cannot be manually adjusted on past orders. Returning and repurchasing is the only method that allows us to honour the sale price correctly and in line with how our system processes discounts and inventory. I should have looked here b4 ordering

I should have looked here b4 placing an order - ordered a blanket for my autistic son- next day delivery declined so gift was late for his birthday nevertheless he loved it. Hubby wanted one too so went to order and noticed price was much lower - asked for a partial refund for the one ordered 2 days ago but beyond the realm of possibility and they would rather I return the item paid the postage fee and reorder again- is this a real company or someone working from their basement taking a mickey??? So disappointed

The new loungewear is lovely to wear…

The new loungewear is lovely to wear but bel an xxs size and none of there loungewear tops fit they are so so short they don’t even go to my waist. I brought one in every size very disappointing that not one fits. I brought s-m trousers and they fit ideally a bit longer but just fit and live wearing them etc. I also brought the pink squidge games and the materials are my ch thinner than previous onesies. Thankfully I got in the sale or I would of returned cause the qaulity next to the original ones is awful

Quality is not up to par

I bought an Oodie years ago. Recently, I bought a new Oodie to replace the old one as it was aging. The Oodie that arrived was vastly different. It was much thinner, much less fluffy, and after a few months of usage - rips have appeared along internal seams throughout the Oodie. I am not satisfied with the decrease in quality and it doesn't make sense why the prices have remained the same, yet the quality that justified the prices has decreased. It appears the off brand versions may now be a better choice.

I love my Oodie coat

I love my Oodie coat, I took a gamble brought in the sale one size only. Its massive but oh so warm and light. Worn for watching my 15 year old play football, im all smug and warm. Added bonus its a spurs one.

Oodie let down someone I recommended them to but have now rectified the problem

Steph from The Oodie reached out in response to this review and has been amazing. The automated help system on the website is dreadful but once we were dealing with an actual person, the mistake was quickly rectified. Steph quite honestly could not have done more. As a result, I've edited the rating I originally gave. I won't give a 5 star review because I believe this should not have happened but Steph did everything possible to resolve the problem quickly and with a minimum of hassle, so I believe 4 stars are deserved. Thank you Steph.

Original review:
I have three Oodies. One arrived with an incompletely stitched cuff so there was a big hole, but I repaired that as it was less hassle than returning for a replacement. Otherwise, I had been happy with the speed of delivery and the quality of the products.

However, I recommended Oodies to my mother, who recently ordered one for herself and I am embarrassed because she received her order today and the wrong item has been supplied. Rather than the lilac animal print design she ordered, she has been sent a plain pink Oodie.

Worse, having contacted Oodie about correcting this mistake, she found their customer service and returns process, even when THEY MADE THE MISTAKE to be very poor.

She's been told she must start the returns process via their portal and wait a few weeks until they either send the right item or provide a refund. The item she ordered is still showing as in stock on their site at the moment but apparently she has no way of knowing if she'll get it, or "in a few weeks" find she gets a refund instead.

They were fast enough to take her payment and have utterly failed to provide either what was ordered, or appropriate customer service. I am embarrassed that I recommended them and I certainly won't be making that mistake again.

Unless this mistake is sorted out to my mother's complete satisfaction, and a lot faster than "a few weeks", I will also not be buying anything else from Oodie.

Mum needs the Oodie during the current cold weather and "in a few weeks" as the weather begins to warm up, she'll have much less need of it. I've suggested she returns the wrong item for a refund and borrows one of my Oodies temporarily. Then next winter she can take her business to a more reliable company with a better customer service ethic.

Really, Oodie, mistakes happen but it's how companies handle them that speaks loudest and you have repeatedly dropped the ball. Do better.

Soft and warm

Soft and warm. I could only get the extra extra large because all the tiny ones had been sold and as I am tiny, it is absolutely massive but I adore it I can wrap it twice around me! I have the dressing gown version.

I have the pale blue duck egg and the color is just as advertised.

The sleeves have cuffs which is very nice because you can pull them up to do washing up etc.

The belt is vast and goes around twice but I might cut that down.

It's arrived in good time ,I actually bought two, one before Christmas and managed to get another one afterwards as I am going to be in hospital a bit.

I would have loved if the length was to the ground but it's calf length and as it's so warm my legs feel a bit cold but I have bought some leg warmers.

A really lovely good quality product xx

I got my Oodie and I was happy until I noticed 2 defects with stitching.. I contacted customer support and found that I could not replace my purchase with something similar. They resolved my situation in a way that is fair. I am happy.

Ordered on 1st January but took until…

Ordered on 1st January but took until last week to arrive. Not impressed. Apparently Royal Mail lost the original parcel and Oodie had to supply another one. My granddaughter received her birthday present 2 weeks late.

I ordered a Oodie and due to courier it didn’t arrive :( I spoke to Mitch via email and he helped me through the whole process and answered all my questions and responded very quickly. 5/5 for customer service !!!

They’ve lost a customer!

I was very disappointed with the overall quality of the Oodie I received and the subsequent customer service.

When the Oodie was removed from the original packaging it had a huge tear in the fabric. This was not caused in transit. I wanted to exchange the item but it was out of stock. I returned the item with a note requesting an exchange or credit note to exchange the item when stock levels were replenished. My exchange was denied, therefore losing my Black Friday discount. The company would not honour the discount I had received when purchasing and told me I’d have to repurchase my item at a later date for the full price. As the material and quality of the item wasn’t worth the full price I accepted the refund with a view to purchasing elsewhere.

Annoyingly I was denied my £3.99 postage and packaging fee. The item was returned due to it being damaged on receipt and Oodie refused to reimburse me for the original delivery charge. I would accept this if I’d just changed my mind but the item was damaged. I send numerous emails which all came back with a negative response. Eventually I had to resort to posting on social media to express my concerns with the promise of speaking to trading standards. Surprise surprise, my original delivery fee was reimbursed.

This company has lost a customer through its own failings!

Fantastic product …. Where has it been allMy life!!! …

Delivery time is amazing with each selection being packaged up so lovingly. I started off with an Oodie original and have now enhanced my collection with almost th entire range of sleepwear. The dog is also loving his version and trots along proudly.

Nice products. Below average customer service

No problem with products or delivery.
Delivery 1: Item too small (my bad!): Returned
Delivery 2: Wrong product (Oodie's bad!): Returned
Delivery 3: All good!
However, it took weeks, and an amount of chasing from me, to actually get a refund for both returns.

Absolute Oodie truth.

The oodies were and are great, having bought three, one I gave away, one I’m flogging to death, the last is the ready replacement, and I’ve had them quite awhile. Great out in the bush!

Sleep tee’s have been my biggest issue. Different sizes? Now, I’m a large bloke, of 6, one is a flop, 3 are actually perfect, 2 a little smaller. But all is not lost on the flop, a fine gift for someone.

Overall, very happy with what I got.
