They will not issue you a refund
I made an order from this store, good were delivered promptly, size did not fit. I got in contact with them and I shipped the product tracked to the address they provided. However they routed the parcel to the post office nearby and stopped responding to all my emails.
Their physical address has now been updated on Google as permanently closed

Excellent service!! Communication is instand and the advice/ help is top!! Delivery is excellent too!

After being letdown by another company I searched the net for another Henri Lloyd stockist with the jacket I wanted. I found the Modern Draper who despatched the jacket in quick time at an excellent price with great communication. I would wholeheartedly recommend them

Ordered a pair of Monokel Sunglasses I've had my eye on for a while. Modern Draper delivered the glasses within 24 hours of the order being placed. The price they offered was by far the best. Packaging was bomb-proof and with a nice touch of sweets and note inside. I will definitely be shopping with them again. If I ever find myself up in the north I'll make sure to pop by the store and check it out!

I ordered a Sergio Tacchini track top from the Modern Draper which I could not find anywhere else. I was nervous post-Brexit buying from a UK retailer as I am in the EU.
The top arrived sooner than expected, was great value, was beautifully presented in box and accompanied by a very nice note and an invitation to visit "Beautiful East Yorkshire".
What a great experience, what a great shop. If there was option for more stars, I'd give them. A full 5-star review!!

Got a great deal on a cap I wanted for a while, and it arrived just in time for the good weather.

Although the item was right for my partner. Great communication and returns. No coomplaints. Will use again when possible.

I am also surprised by the negative reviews. I ordered an A.P.C. item on sale. Price was very good and it was delivered (via £5 standard delivery) promptly to London by trackable UPS. The item had been very carefully wrapped and packaged, and the notifications were also good (ordering on the website was simple). So I am certainly happy and wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I am surprised to see the negative reviews on this page as I was pleasantly surprised with how happy I am with my (online) order.

I found The Modern Draper by coincidence searching for a particular sweater and found it on their website via Google, and took the plunge and placed an order.

I'm basically the other end of the country, and after ordering after 11pm on Wednesday, it was at my doorstep Friday morning.

It honestly felt like they take pride in their orders when opening the parcel just off the back of the presentation.
It was sturdily and smartly boxed, and wrapped in paper and plastic, they even threw in some sweets, just nice little touches that made it feel like they trade in quality and not quantity.

I'm really happy with the sweater I bought, and am now going to keep my eye on the site in the future for other items.

Went in today as had visited on a previous trip to the UK and bought a jacket. Today sadly, the guy serving was completely uninterested and even when I asked if he had another size for a sweater he thought polishing the screen of his tablet more important. Really disappointing so went next door and bought instead.

TMD offered exactly what I wanted (Baracuta G9 archive fit) at a fantastic price.
Service was great, product tracked and well packed. Will use The Modern Draper again. A great online shopping experience.

Polite customer service but poor. I can totally understand other poor reviews on here. I placed an order but found the jacket £100 cheaper. I did email them to cancel. No reply. I phoned up - no answer. Finally got through. I did explain my truthful reason. Normally you receive tracking info and courier details when item is shipped from a retailer. This never happened. Their initial order email wants you to download the app "shop". Then you have to download a qr scanner. Once done you scan the code - the only info shown is your item and the retailer. Total waste of time. Out of courtesy I did offer to buy another jacket with the balance due for refund (I could've bought it cheaper elsewhere). I was told that someone would get back to me in the afternoon. This never happened. I phoned back. Hugo was polite but unhelpful. He said a manager would call me back in 10 minutes. Lisa the owner phoned back after 20 minutes. I'm flabberghasted they didn't really want to have a sale. They had the tracking that the item was refused and was going back to them. They knew I hadn't touched the item. They didn't even want to put the other jacket aside until the other parcel was back. So, in general terms - terrible technology where you don't know the courier or the item has actually been sent or even tracking. Poor customer service - definitely not in the interests of the customer whatsoever.

Purchased some trainers online at this shop via Trouva - they told me that the style I picked was out of stock so I reordered a different pair. 4 weeks later nothing - order showing as not depatched with no delivery info - just being told ‘they are very busy’. Contacted Trouva who say they can’t get hold of the shop so have refunded my money. One big waste of time!!

Placed order - item in stock (via 3rd party website, Boutique hosting site Trouva)
Placed order with discount (despite Managing Director saying this isn’t true - total £208.80 instead of £289).
Message stating out of stock appears on Monday, order placed Friday.

Tried calling Modern Draper and selected all 4 options (no answer on any) & had to contact Trouva for a refund. Still haven’t been contacted directly by Modern Draper in relation to order (unsure if they would as bought via 3rd party).
