Great place to start to create good habits!
I bought the package last year as I have been following John on Instagram for a while and I have 2 of his books. The app is easy to follow and a great range of the recipes are on there. I started to see a difference in my weight and overall wellbeing within 2wks. I don’t need to loose a vast amount of weight but this is a great place to start to create good and consistent habits!
Would definitely recommend 😊

All meals that I have made as easy to make and taste great which means that because I enjoy the food I am making it means that I will stick to a healthier lifestyle. Completely gone downhill
Years ago the TMPK page was filled with vibrant looking fresh food & seemed a positive account to follow.
It's clear this was all the work of his Ex-partner, as the last few years have been nothing but dog content & late night rants, filming his feet. Not sure how people can claim this content has helped them lose weight, which makes me very suspicious of the 5* reviews.
This business isn't worth anyone investing their time or hard earned cash in.

I find TheMealPrepKing’s content incredibly valuable and helpful, but what I love most is how organic and simple it is. In a world where everything feels overly complicated, true quality comes from attention to detail, and the love behind his work truly shows.
Uneducated man with a dangerous attitude towards health issues.
Very uneducated man with regards to health & wellbeing. I followed his account hoping there would be useful dietary information for all. But his only advice is to eat huge portions of bland food & go for a walk.
He has no idea about different dietary requirements & labels people with chronic illnesses such as Colitis/Crohn's disease lazy. He's dangerous in his attitude towards conditions he knows nothing about.
It's a shame Trust Pilot doesn't allow you to upload evidence, because I would if I could.

Would you pay someone who posts women’s photos online to embarrass them??
I purchased Johns Prep yourself slim book after a friend recommended him. Whilst waiting for the book I looked up his socials and was shocked to see various stories on instagram from him, such as :
Excuses : mounjaro, adhd, crohns, overactive thyroid
This txt was against a collage of women’s photos that he’d pulled from women who disagreed with him. Just normal women, not in the public eye, that he thought he’d embarrass to his 4 million followers.
Another story asked his followers how many genders there was and said “you can identify whatever, but don’t expect me to play along”
He commented on TikTok “I deal with f*t l*zy people. I’ll always have a job”
Another comment to a follower “only one
thing worse than some one wearing a huge dress to try nd hide their f*t” and “oh and for
ference. Wearing black. a having a photo of just your head doesn't work either. You can tell how f*t some one is just by how big hat bloody head is”
After this, I promptly threw his book in the bin.

John goes above and beyond to support and motivate people. I have followed him on Instagram for years now, in fact, I even followed him before he built his brand/business & I can honestly say, if I ever need that kick up the bum to keep me motivated and determined, I just flick through his profile, listen to his stories or give him a message & he will always go out of his way to help. He is so helpful and honest & keeps things simple... He is definitely one to follow and support!!

I bought Johns two cookbooks a long…
I bought Johns two cookbooks a long time ago and was a long term follower. I am no longer one due to some behaviours I’ve seen.
I’m very disappointed in how he speaks to people overall and some of the beliefs he shares. In the last few years he has really shown who he is deep down. I am not relating this to the MH or drinking as none of the things he has said have changed recently.
I’m giving 1 star as he is suggesting the calorie deficit which is likely unachievable for a lot of people and he makes claims such as “start today lose 6 stone by August” which I do not think is realistic or actually healthy.

Here are some of the reasons for me disagreeing with your targets being unrealistic -
Sustaining ~2.5 lb/week for 33 weeks can increase the chance of:
Muscle loss (not just fat)
Hormonal disruption (missed/irregular periods, low testosterone)
Fatigue, dizziness, weakness
Hair thinning, brittle nails
Nutrient deficiencies
Gallstones
Metabolic adaptation, making regain more likely
When it might be acceptable
This rate may be less concerning if:
Your starting weight was high
Weight loss was medically supervised
You ate enough protein and micronutrients
You did strength training
You feel energetic, mentally well, and physically strong
Red flags to pay attention to
If you’re experiencing any of these, it’s a sign the pace may be too aggressive:
Constant exhaustion or brain fog
Feeling cold all the time
Hair loss
Loss of menstrual cycle
Frequent injuries or weakness
Anxiety or obsession around food
Bottom line:
For most people, 84 lb in 33 weeks is borderline to overly aggressive, especially without medical supervision. Slowing the rate slightly often leads to better health and better long-term maintenance.
