Great Experience - Thank you!

So far we have been on one of the walks and also done the 5 week course of baby massage with the Mama Chapter!
The walk was so nice to meet other mums at the same point in life as us, I was so nervous walking in but everyone is in the same boat! I met some lovely mums who I am still in contact with.
The baby massage course was fab, a great experience to just set aside that time each week to be with your baby and solely focus on them. The tummy massage makes a big difference to babies with stomach issues. It is so nice to talk to other mums with babies around the same age and share experiences and advice.
Thank you to Ashleigh and Evie for the community you have created! We will book on more events soon

Baby massage

My baby and I recently did the Baby massage course and we thoroughly enjoyed it . The studio is a very relaxed environment and the small group made it a lovely personal experience. Ashleigh took the time to carefully teach us a variety of massage techniques and over the 5 weeks you build this up so it isn’t too much for your baby all at once. The course booklet helps you practice at home too. My baby enjoyed the class and I found it really relaxing and great for bonding. I also loved the time for a cuppa and chats with other mums too. Would highly recommend!

We love baby massage!

Me and my little boy attended the baby massage course. I was really nervous to go as my little boy has colicky behaviours and you always feel he’s going to have a meltdown and there will be people staring but after the first session, I had no worries. If he did have a cry or a difficult time, there was no judgment, it’s such a calm and relaxed environment. The added time at the end for a hot drink and some chocolate makes all the difference too, gives you a moment to relax and chat with other mums. We both really enjoyed massage and I think it’s helped our bond too.

Would highly recommend baby massage…

Would highly recommend baby massage with Ashleigh, great to learn how to help the babies relax but also a lovely way to meet other mums with the drinks/snacks at the end. You really get time to chat and make friends with other mums which I feel is missing from other classes.

Baby massage course

We have absolutely loved our 5 week massage course! Learning some great massage techniques which we have introduced into part of our night time routine, and at the end of each session enjoyed some down time whilst all the babies napped to have a cup of tea and chat with the other mums.

Baby Spa Day.

I came across “the Mama Chapter” on instagram. I saw the baby spa day advertised.
I booked immediately.
I really was not disappointed at all.
The room was set up beautiful.
Ashleigh has put so much thought into making it so relaxing.
I messaged before the event as I wanted to make sure I could use coconut milk as my daughter has a cows milk allergy. I was responded to straight away, and reassured I could have coconut milk. (Which of course when we arrived was perfect).
The bath is filled whilst you’re getting baby undressed.
We had rose petals, a little rose, a water sprinkler and a little toy for babies to play with.
They spend about 20 minutes in the bath (which is perfect, as you would at home before the water gets too cold).
Lovely fluffy clean white towels to wrap them up on and get them dry.
Finished with wrapping them in the most beautiful white fluffy robe that we got to take home. 😍.
We then spent time do some baby massage with oil that was supplied.
Finished with some cucumbers on the eyes.
Whilst all this was happening - I met some lovely ladies with their babies, we all talked about pregnancy/motherhood - it was such a lovely afternoon finished with cake/fruit and drinks all supplied by Ashleigh.
This was honestly one of the best afternoons spent with my daughter meeting new mums, just having a relaxing afternoon outside of our daily routine.
I’m so excited to go back - I’ve booked on the Halloween special.
Thankyou so much The Mama Chapter.
Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s amazing.
Have highly recommended to friends & family already. 😍❤️ xxxx

baby spa experience underwhelming

I attended a baby spa experience, and for costing over £60, I was extremely underwhelmed. You arrive, your child gets into a bath, they pour some rose petals on, you then take them out, get shown an arm and leg massage to do on them, and then it’s over! You sit and have a hot drink. When I saw it advertised I was influenced by the photos, but honestly have recommended many other mums to do it themselves or go elsewhere! I also felt the teacher lacked enthusiasm which was a shame.

Supportive, calming baby massage classes – highly recommended

Such a beautiful course! The sessions were calm, baby-led and so supportive - no stress if little ones needed feeding or cuddles. The massage techniques really helped us upgrade our evening routine and strengthen our bond, and it quickly became the highlight of our week. The small group and WhatsApp chat made it easy to connect with other mums too. Highly recommend!

Brunch

I recently went to my first brunch where my daughter was 9 weeks old. Everyone was so welcoming and met some really nice ladies and some very cute babies. They also have a group chat where people often send recommendations and discounts, very lovely group. Recommend to any new mamas

Really lovely organised events for moms…

Really lovely organised events for moms and babies, the attention to detail is incredible, cutest goodie bags and overall great atmosphere! Amazing way to meet new moms in the Essex area and to speak to professionals in the baby field (sleep consultants and more who also attend some of this events). I really enjoyed a brunch even in Chelmsford and will join in future again!
