Called 01268350247 just now to recover my vehicle that they have in their parking.. The operator was an absolute bi**h.

After having surgery I needed revision surgery, when I turned up for consultation they had forgot to put me in the diary it takes me 3 hours to get to there practice no poop given but squeezed me in like they was doing me a favour… operation 6 months later the surgeon Mr Inglefield was 2 hours late again no poop given then said I was too heavy to do the revision my weight was the same as when I had my original op and he took £10,000 off me so did not do what I went for only messed about with a scar which now looks worse. Go to a proper surgeon who will give you decent aftercare not this place that pretends to care but just wants the trans pound.

I really felt nervous beforehand and tried to block it out as much as possible, but on the day I felt very good and keen to get up there and take in the surroundings
Dr Streeruwitz is very nice and immediately puts you at ease. I felt quite comfortable throughout the assessment, I handed her some notes and went through them together. I came away quite happy that
I had done my best and achieved what I wanted.

Top Surgery with Christopher Inglefield

Had my top surgery done with Christopher Inglefield on the 16th June and it went amazingly. The staff and nurses were so lovely and made me feel very comfortable. I was really nervous and they helped calm my nerves. When it came to my post op appointments, my nurse was very kind and gave me all information needed for my recovery.

My results are turning out great and I'm very pleased. I would definitely recommend going here if you're interested in surgery!

I had top surgery (double incision with grafts) with Mr Di Taranto on 5/6/23.
I would really recommend him and the whole LTC team to anyone looking at getting top surgery. I found Mr Di Taranto was easy to talk to, he listened to my goals and I felt like I could trust him. (I had previously had DI top surgery with a different surgeon in 2010 with poor results, so it was reassuring this
time around to have someone who was willing to listen to what I was hoping for and work with me.)

what I was hoping for. Mr Di Taranto did a brilliant job and everything has gone very smoothly so far (6 weeks post op). The nursing team are fantastic and really looked after me, thanks to Coline and Charlie for their care and reassurance! The MLD therapists were also very kind to me and supportive.

Thanks to the whole team for being so caring throughout, I’m really happy that I went with the LTC and Di Taranto, finally got the chest I was looking for!

I had my TOP SURGERY with this amazing team.
After starting my transition here, starting testosterone therapy and being on the waiting list for some time (over 12 months) I finally got the change to have my surgery.
Mr Di Taranto had an opening and I was more than exited to see him for a consult.
Had the initial consult and all my questions were answered. He was very honest and opened and he told me my options for surgery. I left the consult with a plan and a clear idea of how everting will be like. I obviously had to have the referral form the psychiatrists prior to setting up a surgery date, it took 2 months from the first consult to the surgery date.
The surgery day was amazing got admitted in hospital and everyone was amazing and reassuring, got to see a number of nurses and the anesthesiologist, I have seen Mr Di Taranto one more time before the surgery for last markings and any questions. I got in the surgery theatre and meet the rest of the team, all amazing and reassuring me, went to seep and woke up a changed man.
Woke up to a nurse checking on me, seen a number of other nurses during the post op and was discharged the same day. I was given all relevant medication, pain relief, antiemetics and more. I had 2 compression garment and extra dressings. I was explained in detail all the medication and what to expect and all phone number to call for any concern.
I had my drains in for a week and everything was great, I was called by nurse to check on how I was feeling and I felt well supported. I went in the after a week to have my drains removed, I seen the amazing nurse Coline, and she did a great job, very careful and patient, explained what to expect during this drain removal. Went back again 2 weeks after surgery for the first dressing change, same amazing Coline, very carefully removed my dressing, allowed me to enjoy the moment of seeing my new chest, reassured me oh how healing was going.
I went back to the clin to see wonderful Lisa for my MLD, this was a new experience. Lisa was very kind and gentle, assessed my chest and explained the healing process and what to expect, she did an amazing job on preventing complications. I have also had a MLD session with Henrietta, she was amazing and gave me great advice. During all this recovery I had a open line with my great nurse, Charlie, and any concerns I had she was able to support me with, any questions I had were answered and I felt well supported. I just had my 6 week post op check up and again I have seen the super team Coline and Charlie. They are so amazing, answered all my questions agave great advise and instructions and reassured me they are aways one call or email away.
I all together had am amazing experience. Mr Di Taranto delivered 100% of what we talked about, my chest looks better that I would have dreamed, the recovery is going perfectly, I had no complications or any surprises, the pre and post op care is exceptional and the support during the recovery was incredible.
This is the dream team for transgender healthcare service.

[Experience: top surgery ftm]
I cant thank the LTC enough tbh. Everything was easy, clear, and I was listened to and taken care of every single step of the way. I'd seen other surgeons and teams before this and I hadn't quite got the same sense that I did here. 10/10 very skilled, kind and pleasant surgeon, excellent team, fantastic aftercare, I'm struggling to find faults really. I am writing this review just over a year later from my actual surgery, so I've been through the entire care package that they offer and not once have I been let down.

[Surgery]
Scheduling is a slow process; when I called in and arranged an initial consultation in [summer month], the earliest date I was offered was a few months later. The initial consultations I found extremely gentle and respectful, I was examined behind a screen and only after I'd already decided that I wanted to go ahead (I think it was close to the surgery date). I didn't want anything unconventional like no nips or a special scar shape so I can't comment there but I found Inglefield really listened to me too, instead of just telling me what he was going to do like other consultations I'd had. So already I felt like I was in safe hands.
I was quoted 8.3k in early 2022. It was very straightforward to pay and the invoice was broken down for me. There were no other hidden fees. The cost covered the surgery, the hospital stay, post op garment, and all follow up appointments (1 week, massage, 6 week, 6 month, and 1 year). These were arranged for me ahead of time as well.

[Aftercare]
This was my first ever surgery so I had a lot to learn. However it was made a LOT easier for me by the top quality team who really take care of you every step of the way - they're lovely relaxed people that really put me at ease even through the stress and discomfort of healing. Even on the reception desk there are lovely people - some of whom are trans, which is always a great sign!!
I did have minor complications due to the stitches interacting with my body, but I always found the nurses helpful and responsive when I needed them. Scar care and post op instructions were also very clear and easy to follow. I liked the massage sessions too and they seemed to help. I wasn't left guessing or on my own at any point. Special shout out to Charlie the nurse and Casper at the desk.

[Results]
The important part...
I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Exactly. Inglefield is a very skilled surgeon and I have some of the best results I have ever seen!! Thanks to the post op care and low stress environment I have healed really well too. It looks completely natural, straight and aligned, and the scars are neat and identical too. Just beautiful. I can't believe I only had to do this once! What an amazing guy!!

[Negatives]
They do give you tramadol as the painkiller - personally this gave me WEIRD dreams and bad withdrawal so Idk if its possible to ask for something else eg. Cocodemol.
The post op garment was too big for me even in the XS size! In the end this didn't matter much but if youre very slim make sure you know ahead of time for a fix.
They use a drains method, in case that's a factor in anyone else's decision.

[Wrapping up]
All in all the LTC is clearly a place that centres trans people. I would say it was expensive - and it is - but there is a lot included so all in all I think the cost is quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend to anyone with the means looking to have top surgery, and once again I say thank you so much LTC for one of the happiest, most caring and respectful experiences in my medical journey!! I am so glad I found you! :)

We had a truly amazing experience with Christopher Inglefield and his team at LTC. I cannot rate the whole process highly enough. We have past the one year mark and my son couldn't be happier with his top surgery. The whole experience was very smooth a few glitches with communication but it wasn't too bad, they do have difficulties with their phone lines. The reception team are excellent. Thank you to Grace and Casper for looking after us! Christopher Inglefield himself is one in a million he has included me as a Mum in everything that went on. Just over a year ago I had facial feminisation surgery with LTC, and could not have asked for a better experience. Though nervous of what was ahead, I was guided through every step of the process with warmth and compassion by the exceptional healthcare team, led by Mr Inglefield, and knew exactly what they aimed to achieve.

I'm pleased to say that the surgery has been one of the most positive and affirmative parts of my transition, and it isn't a stretch to say that its been a hugely validating and life-changing experience. The levels of care I've received throughout the process have been exemplary, and I'm very, very happy to say I will be continuing my journey with LTC.

After suffering on the NHS for almost a decade, I decided to go private for my health care in terms of my transition. I've never looked back since starting with LTC.

The administration team are friendly and kind, and you are greeted by smiles and familiar voices. They will often work above and beyond to help you and inform you.

My hormone journey has been easy and understanding, and Mary has done nothing but fight for my rights with the GP and back me up and help me. She is a wonderful lady who cares about her patients, and cares about the health side too. Roberto Fittipaldi and Christina should also get a mention at the fantastic jobs they've done at making me feel at ease and understood and comfortable. They've done everything they can for me.

About 11 days ago, I also had gender affirming surgery with Mr Christopher Inglefield, and its changed my life. I am finally free from the shackles of my body, both physically and mentally. He has done nothing but check up on me after surgery, making sure that I am okay and that I am well looked after. The surgery itself is something I'm also incredibly happy with, Mr Inglefield is an artist and this is certainly his art form. I haven't stopped smiling since.

I hope the whole team at LTC know exactly how amazing they're doing in this divisive and unfriendly world :)

Amazing service from Mr Inglefield and his nursing team. Was made comfortable pre and post operatively by the lovely staff. Everything was explained clearly to me every step of the way. Post op I did have some issues with the wound healing but the clinic nurses guided me through this. Am delighted with the results of my top surgery and would recommend LTC to anyone considering this life changing surgery.

Fantastic staff who make you feel very cared for through the process. The atmosphere at the clinic is calm, relaxing and professional. It was so great to have the same nurse in the post op appointments who was also present for my surgery.

I had my top surgery with Mr Inglefield in October 2022. I felt very anxious on the day of my surgery, but when I saw Mr Inglefield he put me at ease very quickly. He has a very calm and kind energy. I felt very safe with him. My LTC nurse Coline was also extremely kind and caring before and after my top surgery. All the nurses at the LTC are very professional and caring. I really cannot speak highly enough of this team. I had top surgery with Mr Inglefield a year ago, and the whole experience was caring, kind and nurturing. I had some post-surgical issues and the level of care I received was truly above and beyond.
A special shout out to Charlie! She saw me almost 2 times a week for about a month to make sure I was healing properly. She was amazing at calming my anxieties and always put my comfort first. I really can’t express my gratitude to her and how she took care of my at that time.

I was a previously one of their hormone therapy patients and contacted them again end of the year 2022 for facial feminisation surgery. My consultation with Dr Berridge was courteous, accurate and very clear about what the options were, the risks and the potential outcomes. on 15 March I had my surgery at the clinic. I honestly can say that the warmth and compassion from the whole team and nursing staff is an experience that has been unparalleled. They have been absolutely fantastic on the day of the surgery and their after-care has been amazing. Not to mention that I am astonished at the healing process and even more so about the outcome of the surgery. Honestly, it has been nothing short of spectacular. I have been blown away with the end result and it feels like you're being cared for by an incredible family.

My operation is in 2 weeks. Being from Guernsey. A small island between UK and France. And due to not being able to fly back after the 12 days i return to Guernsey. Sarah and Roberto have been great today reorganising dates.Also Roberto phoned back when Blood results were incomplete last week. One reply was a sunday evening. And has made sure its stayed on couse. Mr Inglefield was polite at the surgury meeting 2 months ago. And very clear. And precise on the procedure. And Mary Burke has intervened when things have not worked due to travel etc. I have used LTC and Mary Burke .whos amazing. And helped. Even on sick leave. coming up to 3 years. Had my initial face to face with Leighann yesterday, and I've never felt so safe in a medical setting before. I'd previously had my online consultation with her which went lovely, and the f2f was very much the same in terms of comfort.
The HRT plan process was outlined very clearly with plenty of room for questions, and after going through my (very simple) patient paperwork and taking some measurements, I left the building with my prescription - which was cheaper than I'd expected - just an hour later. I can't really say how glad I am to he under GHC's care.

Staff are lovely. Happy with the information provided around surgery and hormone therapy. Everyone is knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions I have. They even arranged for me to be seen by a district nurse in Cornwall to have my drains taken out as I was doing my recovery there with family. Which is above and beyond.

On the other hand there was a lack in internal communication concerning anaesthesia safety when I was booked for my surgery the first time and I had recently tested positive for covid I only knew it couldn't go ahead on the day because of this. When I actually had my surgery it was delayed by 2 hours on the day and recently there has been a lack of communication about changes to how to apply for new hormone prescriptions.

Overall I am happy with LTC and they have done a lot to help me to improve my life and be more comfortable in my skin.

I had top surgery with LTC in Feb 2022. Everyone there is so lovely and genuinely care about trans people. I felt completely affirmed and safe throughout my consultations and top surgery and I am overjoyed with the results. My life has completely changed! Additionally, I didn't feel like I was treated differently as a non binary person - unlike in Ireland where I couldn't access surgery or get a psychologists referral without starting hormones.

The only reason its not a 5 star review is I found it very hard to get through over the phone, even calling multiple times a day. Also its incredibly expensive but I am so pleased with the results!!
