We were really happy with the remodeling that The Home Refinery did for us.

Riekert is one of those rare finds in a GC who takes the time to consider all the aspects of a particular job before making recommendations, and then has excellent follow through.

Before starting, we told him I was a relative perfectionist. He said there was one person even more so, and that was him. We surely appreciated his attention to detail and execution. I also appreciated his perspective on direction and design - he often brought forward aspects we hadn’t considered.

Throughout the stages, Riekert was in regular contact with the contractors, and also with us, either on site or by phone and text. He was responsive if we had a (rare) concern pop up.

Remodeling can be stressful- Riekert makes it look easy- we can’t recommend him more highly.

We enjoyed working with Riekert and his team/subs. His thoughtfulness and ability to introduce an alternative point of view, coming from the perspective of better value for us as the customer was something that we truly appreciated.

We had a great experience with The Home Refinery company. They well-executed two-bathroom renovations in our home that was built in 1967. Riekert understood us and helped guide design decisions and made suggestions to help us land two beautiful bathrooms while maximizing existing space. In one bathroom they installed a shower door with frameless glass to create an illusion of more space. Love both our bathrooms!
We gave a budget and THR worked with it. Riekert is a doer who has keen eyes for fine detail work. The team was wonderful to work with. So glad we found them! Recommend and will definitely use them again as other areas of our house need updates.
