the lovely guy i was speaking to asked if i would review my experience so here it is....my star rating is for the customer service team. the product i ordered was not in stock so the team called me shortly after to apologies and inform. he advised that product will arrive the next day. they called again the next day to update that product arrived and order was shipped. very polite and nice team.

Healthcounter did not disappoint, I placed the order on Monday and received an email the following day saying my order was processed and shipped.
Considering the festive season, I received my order within 48 hours from the day it was shipped. Will definitely use them again :)
Easy to order and quick delivery.
Ordered vitamins and minerals from The Health Counter. The order arrived very quickly with no issues. Definitely would use them again, especially during the pandemic when you cannot leave the house.

Like so many other reviewers on here, I placed my first order with this company, only to receive an email telling me they can't supply my ordered items as I've ordered too many times before. Judging from what other "victims" of these cowboys have said, I am somewhat sceptical with regards to receiving the refund they promised. A dodgy dealer if I ever saw one. Check them out on Companies House and you'll notice that they change the name of the company every couple of years. They don't even specify that they are pharmacists, ( merely retailers.) WHATEVER YOU DO, AVOID !!!
Not responsible company
I placed an order with this company, they take money from my account, next day they cancelled my order and sent me an email for my money refunded, but they never refunded it and nobody responsible about it, costumer service just asking information about purchasing but after that, no respond.
Be careful about this company to do not find same problem.

Had some reservations about ordering through this company based on the previous reviews. however i was pleasantly surprised at their speedy delivery especially since i ordered during the holidays. will be ordering from them again.
Terrible trouble and poor customer service.
Placed 3 orders in total at different times. The first 2 orders were delivered although did take a week to receive and no dispatch email received. Third order I placed, I received a dispatch email but just someone's name in place of the tracking number. 2 weeks passed and I rang the Health Counter. Spoke to a man who couldn't speak English very well, he said that it had been posted and told me to wait longer. Rang again and they said they would refund me. No refund received. Will be taking the matter further. Have placed an order with The Nelson Pharmacy based in a different area of London and have discovered that it is the same company? (Same contact telephone number!) Not heard back from the Nelson Pharmacy after placing my order over a week ago! It seems like this company had good customer service a few years ago but seems really bad customer service at the moment. Beware do not place an order with either companies.

Ordered day 1, money taken day 2. Nothing received by day 14, called 4 times (no reply), left voicemail 2 times (no reply) emailed once (no reply).
I call this theft.
Will be taking further action.
Worst delivery time
I placed an order with standard delivery of 2-4 working days
14 days on from the order i was not given an update. I emailed them and was sent an update that it has been dispached. Another 4 working days have passed, still not recieved. Almost a month has passed since the initial order. Caused inconvenience as im going on holiday.
My first and last order will never order again!
Very poor service
I put an order for a product and was accepted, money taken off the card immediately although it was a Saturday.
On late Monday had a email saying there was a technical error and asked if I want to wait or cancel. I responded on Tuesday and asked to cancel, they confirmed they received the email and will cancel. Meanwhile they put me on hold for an hour when called their phone number.
3 days later (6 days from order date) they still haven't refunded me.
I decided to take the matter to the regulatory body.
Sent wrong item, but no quibble on refund.
I have used them before, successfully. This time there was a mixup on a similar product, but when the delivery was returned Freepost, the refund was quick.
So no real complaints, other than it took several weeks from order to refund.
Customer service on the phone was very courteous, I would give them a go again, if they were stocking what I wanted.
Poor Communication, slow dispatch & extremely slow delivery
I sent 2 separate emails on 2 separate occasions and I had no response to either of them. (both were received as I had confirmation to state this.) So I am very disappointed!! The Health Counter were also slow to dispatch my items and delivery was very slow also. Overall a very poor experience!! I would certainly not recommend!

Wont use them again
Ordered 20 mins before deadline for next day delivery. Had never used this site before.
Had confirmation. Next day came and went so I e- mailed as the parcel hadn't even been dispatched. Was told it was an error by the courier. I e-mailed again twice saying that when it is delivered I don't expect to pay next day charge. Twice I was told e-mail corrupted. So I ordered on the 1st and it arrived on the 4th. It is now the 5th and I have sent them a message via contact us although they have not taken payment yet.
Cant get through on the phone.
Not good is it when you are in pain and need something because no chemists have it available.

I have been refunded the difference between next day delivery and standard.
I don't understand why you would not tell me that it was not a next day item when I put the order in.

Commendable Service
I ordered some Dr Browns bottles to help with my newborns colic. Once I had ordered I realised that I needed these urgently and had paid for the slower postage service. However to my wife and I's delight my package arrived the very next day, despite the fact that I ordered early afternoon. Very impressed and lowest price for this product I have seen online. Keep up the good work guys.
Appalling Service

An update to the review I left last week. After PROVING that the mistake was theirs and that they HAD taken money from my account, but also that they had tried to take the payment TWICE (the 2nd one being flagged by my CC company as a fraudulent payment - which in effect it was) they have finally (after 6 days) got back to me to tell me they have canceled the order twice (even though I only ordered once) and that they have refunded my card for the full amount (therefore PROVING that payment was taken). My balance hasn't increased by the amount they took but until my new statement is printed I am unable to check exactly how much they repaid (hopefully it is the full amount or I will pass everything on to the relevant authorities). They are still REFUSING to accept any responsibility for them trying to take more money from my account and as such I will NEVER use or recommend to anyone. Please be aware if you are considering making a purchase from this company.

Where to start? I'm currently embroiled in a war of worlds with them over a mistake THEY have made.
I placed an order totalling £104.97; the payment was authorised and I was sent an email with the order number that stated payment had been recieved. This was at 10.24 on the morning of the 21st. Later that evening I received another email from them to tell me that my payment had been declined, but this email had a totally DIFFERENT order number. A quick check of my credit card balance showed that exactly £104.97 had been issued and taken from my limit, so I contacted them asking for them to verify what had happened (I know people are only human and mistakes are made). 2 emails later (every time I telephoned I got cut off) I have just received a reply telling me that my card was declined so they have cancelled my order.
This then prompted me to telephone my card issuer who told me they took payment (that was authorised) at 10.24 but that at 14.50 that same day they tried to take the same amount. Believing this to be a fraud attempt (due to it being the same amount) my card issuer did in fact decline this attempt (and I am very glad they did or this company would now have 2 lots of money from me for the same order that they are saying I won't receive because my card was declined).
I have now been back to this company (again via email so that I have everything in writing) and have attached all their emails and my proof of payment from them back to them and am waiting to see where they will try to fob me off next as they are telling me I spoke to one of their colleagues yesterday and everything was fine (I have NEVER spoken to anyone) but that later in the day they informed the payment had failed.
