I had 3 2inch Ampex 456 24 tracks tapes recorded in 1990 baked and digitised and the quality achieved was much better than I dared to help for. Plenty of clarity and low end. I will be using them again. Excellent

A dusty reel to reel tape converted to digital. Audio quality of finished product was amazing and certainly didn’t reflect the 45 years the reel had been spent sat in a filing cabinet. The reel was sent for assessment on Day 1, received Day 2 and assessed and quote provided. By Day 3 I had paid and had access to the file. Great job.

Transferred cassette audio and btamax video to digital brilliantly. I thought it was lost but now is found!

Adrian did an excellent job, at a reasonable cost and meeting my timescale, converting my cherished three hour family video tape into a digital format and onto a USB stick. When I met him to explain what I wanted him to do he was very happy to spend time explaining that to me and the technology involved, answering all my questions. I would have no hesitation in using thegreatbear again.

We'd been meaning to get our old digital 8 tapes converted for years. Our old camcorder gave up the ghost so we no longer had means to play the tapes, and tracking down a replacement was impossible. Greatbear immediately confirmed they could undertake the task of digitising over 20 hours of footage, and gave lots of useful advice even before we'd committed to getting the tapes sorted.

One of the tapes was recorded by (and featured) my late uncle - he passed away in the mid-90s and no other video recording of him exists. His family are thrilled to be able to see and hear from him again after 20 years.

We can't wait to share the wider footage with our family and it's a huge weight to know we now have it backed up in several places and can easily copy it as many times as we need to preserve it forever.

Another outstanding piece of work transferring material to DVD. It couldn't be bettered. Many thanks indeed. I would always recommend you as I did recently to my brother-in-law for his priceless tape transfers.

Adrian is a guy who knows his stuff. A real professional. He has followed my instructions and is a real friendly understanding guy on my worries to get my tapes properly digitized. I Give him and his company 5 stars but if there had been 6, i would have given him those 6 stars without a problem. Brilliant service - have used twice now for video to DVD and DVD to MP4 including some tricky damaged home videos. They go above and beyond to do everything possible to deliver what we are seeking even when it seems impossible. Nothing but the highest recommendation from me.
