In our busy day-to-day lives, more people are finding it difficult to take time off to see their GP or have to wait on average up to 10 working days to see a GP. We at The GP service provide an Online Doctor service to help diagnose and treat common conditions using our on-line consultation platform. Our aim is to provide a safe, discreet and easy journey for patients who are looking for private medical treatment at their convenience and at a cost that people can afford. Our system allows patients to consult with qualified Doctors with a consultation via online assessment questionnaires or through secure video chat. They can then choose to collect their treatment from any Pharmacy registered with our service. The service also allows Doctors at their sole discretion to provide prescriptions where appropriate as well as referral letters and fit notes. For full details and charges, please refer to our Terms and Conditions on this site.

On bank holiday Saturday my husband discovered a rash had come up around a tick bite he had sustained walking in Spain 2 weeks ago. Knowing it was high risk for Lyme disease I knew we had to get antibiotic therapy started ASAP. Unwilling to face an extended A&E or walk in centre wait I found this service on Google. Within 2 hours he had a video consultation and a prescription for antibiotics which we managed to get before the pharmacies 1pm closure. The price was very reasonable and we managed to enjoy the plans we had made for the day. Brilliant!
Not a very professional company. They will make a prescription. Then the pharmacy will be out of stock. Then they will try to charge you for a rewrite. They also take a reaaally long time to approve so the meds are often out of stock by the time it’s done. Very sneaky behaviour
Short notice appt for repeat prescription that would have taken a week on NHS but needed quickly on a Saturday. Excellent service. I got more holistic advice about my health condition in one phone call than I have had in 15 years of GP care. Prescription arrived immediately, took to small Boots store locally who processed with no issue. Could not be more impressed. Thank you.

SCAM! Booked a call with a GP but ended up getting a call from a pharmacist. When declined the call as I needed a feedback from an actual doctor, she hang up and refused to reimburse me. STAY AWAY
Had a few issues but all got sorted in the end up thanks too Louise and sharkia

Used the service quite a few times when unable to get a GP appointment . Works well, prescription comes through if required in a timely email. Only issue - and we’ve had this a few times - is the pharmacists sometimes have problems with the system for giving them the prescriptions. Usually to do with log in or their misunderstanding of the process. Twice our local pharmacy in Scotland had to give up after a number of attempts which kept sending OTP codes to my phone which didn’t tie up with the system tidily - they could see the prescription but couldn’t capture it for their records - however they kindly dispensed anyway.
GPs are great, system a little clunky perhaps. But will continue to use as it’s a great concept.
Also would like to add that the support staff - when we contacted them - were polite, professional and prompt in checking things for us. Well done.

Dr. Angeliki lacks compassion, takes and aggressive tone and conducts assessments with inaccurate information
Louise is so helpful and the Dr's are very professional and supportive.
Prescription processed Friday and delivered within 24rs.
Best service!
Thank you for your continued support.

Made appointment to discuss chest pain over many months. Paid them £69 but they didn’t turn up for the appointment. I contacted them and said they wanted to cancel the appointment as I need to go to the “emergency room” without even seeking me. Wasted an hour.
Total time wasters more likely to cause you ill health than offer you solutions.
Everything from start to finish went easily & smoothly.
