I ordered the Supernemos which were dispatched promptly by the GardenShop. The courier had delays which meant they were out of fridge temperatures for too long and they perished. However, the GardenShop did their best at all times. Chasing up the courier and keeping me informed by email and phone. In the end they resent the nematodes which arrived safely.
Thanks to the GardenShop as I understand it was not their fault and they did everything to help.

Been shopping with these guys for over 3 years hassle free but recently ordered 2 tayberry bare roots. As soon as they arrived I repotted into 2 bigger pots and waited. About 6 weeks went by and noticed no growth. I then decided to get in touch with them. After many pics and explaining what I had done etc etc they said I should have contacted them straight away to sort out the problem.
They were bare roots. They needed 6 weeks at least before I could notice any difference in growth. I was told there was nothing they could do for me. It was only €18 euros spent on these 2 root plants but over the years I have bought loads of trees shrubs plants and bushes. Once I presented a problem there was no help. They were obviously dead on arrival. I’m sure it happens all the time but just beware. If you have a problem they will deflect it back to the customer. After over 3 years I’ll shop elsewhere. No need to reply on here with an insincere apology. We have already had loads of emails back and forth telling me it was my fault not yours. Anyway just beware. If you present them with a small problem like mine (first ever problem in 3 years) they are not going to be very helpful.

I cannot recommend this shop. They package things very poorly and I’ve had numerous damaged items. Products such as garden ornaments etc are very poor quality. Customer service could certainly be improved. Very disappointed with the garden shop overall as are other family members.

I paid extra for DPD delivery of Supernems and it has been redirected twice now. And it’s not DPDs fault, either, the address they put on the label is wrong. Given they don’t travel well, these are now dead. Contacted them early after the second redirect, hoped they’d sort quickly and get something out for the weekend. They couldn’t be bothered responding.

I can only assume someone looked at Eircode.ie have some nonsense connected to AnPost where border addresses can show “postal” counties, rather than physical geographic county for places near borders. Please stop doing this, no couriers respect imaginary locations other than AnPost.

I have used this company quite a few times and have received home deliveries. The goods arrive promptly and in perfect condition. The Staff, Ann in particular, is absolutely wonderful in answering any queries with plants and their instructions if you need assistance. A wonderful company that I will use , time and time again in the near future.

Absolutely dreadful customer service. My order never showed up, customer service took forever to reply to emails and in the end offered me a replacement order or a refund that could take 3-5 working days. I was previously a happy customer but never again

Order put through online 3pm and delivered by dpd courrier the next day at 11am. Packaged really well. I had a very big order and extremely happy 😊

Great shop, have ordered from them for a few years now. Very happy to date. Excellent customer service.

This statement is based on my own horrible experience with thegardenshop. Ordered plants and they were not capable of delivering correctly. It took twelve days within Ireland for their cheap courier "Fastway" which is now known to be the worst. First i received a text message in the middle of the noght asking me for the post code then after i report that to thegardenshop incompetent customer service they kept sending me countless emails and argue about my address while few weeks prior was no issue for delivering. Then the unreliable Fastway mentioned that theey have no driver for my area. How stupid can it get.This is not a serious shop.
So much i prefer to support locals, i had to find a solution and ordered from the Netherland and sent by DHL and arrived one day before fastway finally (nearly 2 weeks) delivered the plants which were unfortunately completely damaged.What a shame.
From now on i boycott Thegardenshop and also Fastway courier.Do not buy here.

The website could do with an overhaul (like shoving all "out of stock/season" options to the last pages of the search) but I can't fault the service itself, good quality plants and garden equipment!

I use this website regularly and I cannot fault it. Easy website access and great selection and service. As a bonus, the delivery is very fast also. Highly recommend it.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from this company. I ordered a strimmer replacement head on the 28th March and was told just now by telephone, on the 1st April, it has not been sent yet. I live within 1 hour of this company and after 5 days they have not processed my order. Disgraceful.
It is now the 5th April and still no sign of my strimmer head. By the time it gets here the grass will have gone to seed.

Always excellent. I always have a positive experience shopping on this site. Good products, prompt dispatch and next-day delivery with DPD. Will order again. Customer service is also excellent and reply quickly.
