The Forest Distillery has now relocated to join our sister Gin Distillery at the iconic Cat & Fiddle within a beautiful stone building in the Peak District National Park. We now distil single malt English Whisky in our state-of-the art 500 litre pot still. deliciously smooth gin (and service!)
i ordered the gin and glass for father’s day. i ordered it on the thursday (after the cut off time for next day delivery) so i was anxious it wouldn’t arrive in time.
i had an email from my courier saying it was due in monday - but it actually arrived on the saturday - so that’s amazing!
the gin is lovely and smooth. bottle is very beautiful and i love that the packaging included no plastic.
i have never purchased directly from the distillery website before but it was a very pleasant experience. i will certainly consider for gifts and myself in the future.

let down by delivery problems received…
let down by delivery problems received conflicting emails left instructions which were ignored, third party delivery used to very poor result, no contact phone numbers anywhere.
The product looks good well bottled however, I think the delivery problems make it not worth another purchase.

We are very sorry to hear that you have experienced a problem with the delivery of your order. Ordinarily DPD have proven to be very reliable when it comes to delivering our fulfilment promise. Despite the fact that we did notify DPD of your delivery options should you not be at home, it appears on this occasion the message was not picked up by the delivery driver. I sincerely apologise for this error and for any inconvenience you were caused.

Haven’t tried the product yet but I feel a company can truly be judged on what happens when things go wrong for the customer. I ordered a bottle of whisky gift set for my husband’s birthday. It arrived broken with the whisky being soaked up by the packaging. I called to explain what happened, sent photos and received a reply to apologise and to confirm a new one had been despatched straight away. This is the third time I have used them for gifts and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both for the drinks and the service.

Great presentation gift box set for a special birthday. This gin has been a favourite of the recipients since he attended a gin taster festival and was advised this would be his preferred gin. After tasting he agreed this was the gin for him.
