I was exited to take my pink and orange jelly bag for my holiday, liked the colours, patterns and the size of the bag, all items on show after opening, it has a strap on the side, so once its all closed you can grab it and go, but! When its all zipped up and velcroed there are still holes on both sides!!! Your smaller items like lip liners will start falling out, that's how I lost couple of mines!!! I emailed them as thought my bag is faulty but they responded this is how it supposed to be which is even worse! And typical silly reply that:

"The original Box Makeup Bag design is functioning as intended and continues to be well received by many of our customers."

Really? It clearly doesn't function and seen other negative reviews so customer service obviously thinks I'm some sort of a mug and will take everything they write, absolutely disgusting!!!!

Was a little disappointed with this bag. I have one of the original ones which don't zip right to the end but have velcro. So was hoping this would work better with the complete zip. But when the bag is open the end walls are very flimsy so don't hold up as well as the box ends in my original one. So not so pleased as I thought I would be.

great quality and some of the best make up bags I've ever bought. Love giving them as presents. Also very cool to take the mesh style ones on the beach with suncreams.

I made an order for my partners birthday. Unfortunately I put in the wrong delivery address. 5 minutes after the order I contacted them to ask them to change the address. They refused, stating that they couldn’t because the order had been shipped. This was not the case and they didn’t ship the order for 15 hours after this and refused to change the address.

They took the money and stated there’s nothing they could do. Shocked that a modern company refused to change an address and refused to help rectify the issue.

Even after admitting they didn’t ship the item until the next day. For them to say they couldn’t change the address due to this and then admit it was not shipped for 15 hours is out of order.

I could understand if it was already out for delivery but not when I requested a change 5 minutes after I paid.

My bag broke within a month through no fault of my own & they refused to replace it! I was so gutted as I’d wanted one of these bags for ages but they were too expensive, then got one as a gift just for it to break so soon ☹️

Received the Flat Lay Makeup bag as a gift & realised too late it was missing the drawstring cord locker. Expensive mistake & faulty product :(

I was looking for a nice looking space saving makeup bag and kept seeing on Instagram the Flat Lay Co Ltd. After looking on the website I brought the Flat Lay Makeup Box Bag and standing makeup brush case in Green Leaves Embroidered Velvet.
Easy to order and I recieved it within two weeks.
It looks great and you can get a lot in the bag. It's also nice to keep the brushes separate.
Good quality products and would definitely buy from them again.

Good quality material that feels long lasting. I brought this to put my makeup in. I love the fact that when I unzip it opens up into a box shape and I can see all my bits, instead of me digging to the bottom of the bag trying to get things out. A bit flimsy and wish it was a bit steadier. As when it’s open I need place on flat surface and hold with both hands if I was to move it as the sides will give and bits will fall out. However I do love the colour and design. Good size to put a lot in. Easy to store as it is a square shape.

Excellent shopping experience. The bag is exactly what we needed, and shipping was prompt.

i really love everything about my new makeup bag it’s so useful, however the only thing that would make it better would be some wider brush elastic holders because i can’t fit my foundation and bronzer brush into the brush holders.
