This once great selling website is now run by a unscrupulous person.

As a seller they didn't pay me for a sale I had and posted. Luckily I had paid my subscription by PayPal and managed to get my money back.

They don't bother to reply to messages or emails or answer a call.
Buy elsewhere.

Paid subscription so I can start selling (used to do it via this site back during the pandemic); but I couldn't access my storefront to start populating it with products.

Sent an email asking for help.

A certain Steve replied asking for my shop details, which I promptly provided... and that was the end of it! One month later I still can't access my shop, can't sell, and haven't heard back despite repeated follow up requests for help!

Apparently owners have changed, which makes sense. The previous owners were always prompt and happy to help, but these guys not sure what they are playing at, but they are definitely not interested in running a business. I gave them one whole month to reply, numerous emails and to this day, I have heard nothing back.

Do yourself a favour and find different platforms to sell.

I have used PayPal for a chargeback claim and boy am I glad I paid via PayPal!

This used to be a stellar selling platform for those with rural retail products. The previous owners of this site built it up into a hugely popular selling platform. However, when they sold the platform, it has fallen into the hands of a complete set of cowboys who have ruined it from the get go. They have no intention of running it as a selling platform and are taking people's money (seller's and consumers) Lord only knows how many thousands have been pocketed by these crooks. I haven't been paid for my sales, although I made sure my customers had their items, so I have lost out.
They do not respond to their emails and ignore the phones. It is owned by an IT company now and I did manage to get hold of the owner 'Steve' who assured me he would make sure my issues were rectified but then failed to deliver and simply doesn't answer the phone. This platform needs to be reported and the 'owners' dealt with for fraud and deception. Avoid at all costs. I have removed my payment method in the hope that they cannot take anymore money off of me and set my shop into permanent vacation so people cannot buy from me. I cannot seem to close my shop and I cannot cancel my subscription. 'Steve' and your bloody IT company - you should all be ashamed of yourselves. I don't know how you sleep at night.

Ordered a log store from them for £225. Delivery date came and went, got one email in response, then they ignored all further emails. I had to get my bank to refund me. Don't use this company.

I placed an order several weeks ago now. The seller hasn’t received their money and so I haven’t had my order. They’re not replying to emails so I haven’t reported the issue to PayPal for resolution.

I'm a seller on the site and they have stopped responding to my emails. Very unprofessional. They have also taken subscription monies from me despite me previously asking them to cancel the subscription.

I ordered several items at the beginning of the month, received a receipt and heard nothing since, not replying to emails or answering the phone 😡

My wife ordered an item on 18/12/2023 despite numerous emails & allowing time for the Xmas post etc,the item has still not arrived.
No reply to any of the emails that have been sent to them.

After an initial issue with me mis-tryping my e mail, I thought communication was going to be an issue. However once the issue was sorted the process was great. Received the goods really swiftly and they are really good quality, as advertised. Very happy with the product and will use the webiste again - being more careful about my inputting this time!!

Do not trust this company, they advertise stock that they do not have and then offer you an upgrade (which can be purchased elsewhere 20%cheaper) I opted for a refund to my PayPal account and was told via email the payment had been refunded but 5 days later no sign of a refund. How many thousands of pounds of customers money do they hold back to make interest on???

A good selling platform for those in the rural areas, sold some items with no problems at all, and great support for sellers.

l placed an order , which never received , no reply after contacting them twice , the seller said she had not received the order from them and did send the item out , but only received one, yet ordered and paid for two

Really nice company and very helpful. I found the process of adding items to my shop a little complicated but Jess was very helpful even when I had just missed something simple

Shop quite easy to set up, especially with the excellent videos provided.
Ive had to contact The Countryside store and had a very quick reply and my request was sorted very quickly.
Just finished setting up the shop, lets see if I sell anything!

A problem with the website, left me feeling very confused as to whether or not I was going to receive my order and who I was actually purchasing my order from. Hasn't realised its a platform where sellers advertise their wares, or at least I think so. My fault for not researching more.

The bed arrived within a couple of days good quality our whippet got straight into it she loves it!

I wanted to find a unique handmade wooden bird box which was in keeping with our rural property. Also I was keen to “Buy British”. Great choice of products with an efficient order, purchase and delivery process. The Countryside Store came up trumps on every level and I will definitely be returning. I would highly recommend.

So many different shops, quick and great customer service, very good communication. Saving this site to my favourites.
