Remortgage and Income Protection in one

Thanks to Jonathan Southgate of Cooper Associates, remortgaging was hassel free. The support i received was professional and efficient but more importantly tailored to my needs resulting the most suitable mortgage and best deal for me.
Various options were presented and I was able to make an informed decison guided by the right expertise and advice.
I was also given advice in relation to income protection which is not something I was particularly aware of before. I can now be confident knowing that if i was on long term sick for any reason I won't have to worry about paying the bills.
My mortgage repayments lessened and the income protection amounted to the reduction in mortgage payments and therefore my overall outgoings have not increased.
I would highly recommend Jonathan Southgate of Cooper Associates for dealing with your mortgage needs.

Honestly where do i begin.

Honestly where do i begin.
I'm a first time buyer so its deer in the headlights moment for everything.
Paul was just fantastic at making the whole process easy to understand.
There was never any dumb questions i could ask that he couldn't answer (trust me i threw some curve balls)
i was made to feel like they had my back at every turn.
It's a daunting experience buying your first house, but Paul and Michaela were a expert duo that worked tirelessly at all hours to help reassure me and get the work done.
Michaela went the extra mile to contact, estate agents and solicitors to keep them informed and up-to-date.
I Couldn't have gotten through this move without them both.
To top it all off, i received a beautiful hamper basket as a welcome home gift. I was an emotional lady to see this and it shows how they truly care about their clients.

An exemplary service.

Nick Feetenby and his team provided an exemplary level of service in arranging a mortgage for our recent house purchase. They could not have done more to meet the challenge during Covid 19 and they did so in a manner that was pleasant and highly professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Cooper Associates and have already done so. Sending a welcome pack to us in our new home was an especially nice touch. Thank you for what you’ve done and how you did it, don’t change a thing!

Great Advice and Exceptional Customer Service

To start with we received some great advice from Nick, who promptly secured us the exact mortgage we were looking for. Throughout the rest of the process, Nick and Robyn, were in constant communication and a pleasure to work with. Will definitely use them again in the future

Highly highly recommend

I was a first time buyer and very apprehensive of the process, especially with COVID but Justin handled everything brilliantly and made the process stress-free. Couldn’t be more happy with how everything went. Thankyou so much - Sophie

Terrible service

Terrible service, advisor came highly recommended by friends and described as being very enthusiastic. I made contact and arranged to speak with him to discuss my mortgage needs. The conversation was ended with him stating he would get a list to me of the required documents straight away and get back to me after he had done his research.
Over a week later I had heard nothing, so made contact via email. It transpired he was on holiday, I do not be grudge anyone time off but it would have managed my expectations had he mentioned this when we first spoke. Several weeks later still no list of documents as promised and no update on what deals where available. As such I emailed him to tell him we no longer wanted his services, within the hour a response!!!
The company promotes that it treats every customer as if it was their only customer, this is a dishonest statement as evidenced by one of their agents and the poor service I received.
In a world that has so many communication platforms why was it so difficult for him or any of his associates to make even a courtesy phone call or email?

The CEO for Cooper Associates rang me, as it was said he would and has apologised for the poor service we received. This felt like it was not just a token gesture but an actual sincere apology, there were no excuses offered only acceptance that the level of service we received was below the company standard.
I still won't be using the company however the CEO (Lee, I didn't catch his surname) has shown that the company has a strong customer focus and high standards.
To clarify there was no request or mention of me changing my review, I just felt the actions of Lee should be recognised as much as the shortcomings of my initial dealings with the company.

Really good service

Really good service. They found a mortgage that matched my needs and with a better interest rate than I had found elsewhere. They were friendly and easy to work with throughout, including having to actively chase the conveyancer to get the re-mortgage completed. I would recommend their services.
