Ordered Food with Bear Hands Cleaver and Magnetic Basecamp knife holder in October of 25. got no updates about product shipping unless I inquired first.
Delay after delay no update unless I inquired.
Original promised date Jan. 26 arrives in April 26. No Base camp knife holder that I paid for. Can not get any response from them accept a auto reply that weekends are busy. It's been several business days 0 response. Piss poor customer service for a pretty good product. Total Fail!!!!! You have lost a cust. I have 15 of these knives.

I order knifes , it took a year they add free knifes twice that was nice, i decided to order the steaths for the knifes , on shop app says it was delivered never received them, I emails they gave generic sorry for delay, no why, what happen. Email again. No response

Do not order from The Cooking Guild. I placed my order at the beginning of November 2025. After 6 months of many lies about “shipping soon”, I finally received my knives but the grizzly sheath for my grizzly filet knife never arrived. The company sends automatic emails about receiving inquiries with continuous lies about responding soon. I have not received any responses regarding the missing sheath from my order. This company has a poor business model, incompetent management, very bad communications and no customer service skills.

This is a scam site! Its been a year since I've purchased and im sill waiting for my knives absolutely poor communication they don't care just as long as you get suckered in to giving them money, they have no intention of sending any knives, the cooking guild is a waste of time.

3 months waiting. I have tried to cancel, and they will not respond about a refund or expediting the shipping. At this point, they have stolen $400. I will never order from them again.
Had hope wanted to believe
Had hope, did not want to share this review but so similar to the many other reviews I purchased a 8” additional knife in the Dynasty series to match with a previous purchase. Months have gone by with no knife. Originally told it was on back order and now they have them up on the site showing available and not responding to emails.
Hope the reviews start to save some others money, I think I have been scammed.

We ordered knives pre-Christmas with a delivery date of February. I still do not have the knives and I have a hard time getting anyone to respond to me. They keep telling me there's a delay in shipment and that is only information I am getting do not buy from this company or this website.

The experience has been frustrating and disappointing.
We're 3 weeks late and still waiting for delivery.
The communication has been bad, they're slow to respond. Last response stated they would ship my knives in 6 more weeks.
I sent 2 follow up emails; 1 reply and 1 to customer service requesting cancelation and refund but haven't heard back in over a week.
I'm not even sure what to think at this point. Is this place even real or did I get scammed?

Horrible shopping experience
Horrible shopping experience. I bought the knives in November and they arrived in February. The shipping company didn't notify me the day before delivery, and when it arrived, no one was home. Instead of making another delivery attempt, they left the package at the post office and didn't notify me again; I found a note in my mailbox a week later. On top of that, I had to pay an extra €27 in customs fees, charges I hadn't expected and which they don't explain when you buy the knives. The best thing about them was the knives themselves; the purchase was a disaster. I will never buy anything from them again.

Ordered a magnetic cutting board for my wife as a Christmas gift. Ordered arrived in a timely fashion. However, I realized that one of my kids had already ordered the same.
It has now been 3 months in this process and I still don't have any resolution to this issue.
The only way I got through to them was to dispute this purchase via my credit card company. However, after receiving an initial email from "Lei" stating that she would be personally handling this return and sending the item back, I am still awaiting a refund.
This entailed multiple emails that went without a response.
They agreed to remove their 20% restocking fee, as they claimed my purchase was accidentally closed. This seems to be their "go-to" excuse, as I have seen this in other posts.
There is absolutely no excuse for this type of delay...other than POOR customer service!
Even though they have provided me with a 20% store discount, believe me when I say that I will NEVER be using it!
My advice is to buy from someone else!
Life is too short to waste your time dealing with an organization like the Cooking Guild!
Long wait times for shipment
Took 3 months for a set of knives to arrive. Poor communication throughout this process with them only ever saying ‘sorry’ and never giving updates on the arrival of the product. Product arrived and is good quality but would struggle to order from here again due to shipping times and communication
Pre-Order Never Fulfilled No Updates No Email Replies
Placed a pre-order in August 2025 for Kaiju Steak Knives, which were supposed to be delivered in October 2025. That delivery never happened. Then there was an update in November 2025 that orders would be shipping soon and would try and deliver in December 2025. It is now February 2026 and there has been no delivery, no updates since November, and no response to emails sent.
Misleading website and bad customer service.
I ordered a knife on 1/10/26. The site made no mention of lead time or delays in ordering. I even paid for expedited shipping. After not receiving any kind of update on my order following the confirmation that I had placed an order and they charged my card, I emailed customer service. I did not receive a reply until today 2/8/26, and it said that it would be another month. I ordered this knife for a friends birthday because I received one as a gift and really like it. But the website is misleading and customer service is non-responsive.

I ordered a knife from The Cooking Guild for $236.00 7th of May 2025 it is now 29th of January 2026. They responded to a couple of emails earlier on this process even said they would send me another knife with my order because of the shipping delay. I have sent numerous emails now and no one will respond. I have even asked for a refund but they would not reply to that email.
TCG takes great care of its customers
I received the Kaiju series as a late Christmas present from my sister. My set was missing a free knife that was offered to compensate for my order arriving late. At first I was disappointed because despite reaching out to TCG customer support I did not hear back. However Lei from their support team did follow up with me after a few weeks time and apologized and was very transparent and helpful in getting my order corrected.
Moral of the story if you’ve had an issue - a little communication and patience goes a long way and TCG takes great care of its customers. I went ahead and ordered the limited sheaths for my knives and they prioritized my order and covered shipping to make up for the inconvenience AND sent my complimentary knife that never arrived with the original order. That’s 10/10 customer care!
Oh yea and I absolutely love my knife set! Super sharp - both physically and aesthetically! Can’t wait to get my sheaths and matching knife to complete my set.

Took time to deliver but it's worth it
Ordered a pre-order. Had some delays (which is understandable with this economy) but when the knives arrived, oh boy, the wait is definitely worth it.
No product shipped - update, product recived
Product ordered June 2025 with a shipping expectation of August.
Inquiry In October 2025 resulted in an apology and a new shipping estimate of "late November or early December"
Inquiry in late December 2025 and again in January 2026 have resulted in no response.
Update 2/7/2026 - I sent a fresh email to their support asking for a refund or proof of shipping, seems they “closed” the previous ticket I was responding to so my queries were not getting through, they replied on the next business day and were able to ship my order right away, it was received and are what I expected.
