Poor quality -exhorbitant priceI purchased what you advertised as a…

I purchased what you advertised as a "premium Leather" case, at a cost of €29.99. What I received is clearly not " premium leather". What's worse is that the same case is available online for €9.99 to €12.99, depending on which seller you choose. So, I consider you are totally misleading in describing the case delivered as " premium leather" AND the price you charge is exorbitant, for what is some form of pvc ( or similar material)- but most definitely not " premium leather"!!

We reached out to you immediately after this review was received offering an exchange or refund once the item was returned. Only to be told the items original packaging has been disposed of and the case was now in use. If the case was of such poor quality as stated above why didn’t you contact us once you received your order to return the item for a refund instead of proceeding to use it? Then suggesting you would change your review if refunded but yet you are not willing to return the item and continue to use it.

As per our refund/exchange policy we are not in a position to offer a refund without first receiving the returned item.

Absolutely awful costumer service

Absolutely awful costumer service. I ordered an iPhone 11 Pro case and was not happy with it and so I returned it. However, I have been completely ignored by this company on email and on Instagram. This is utterly disgraceful as I had returned my purchase and have not heard back in over a month of my return. I have not been refunded! Complete and utter scam!

edit after their response:
This is complete lies I have screenshot proof of me trying to get in contact. So far this is the only contact i have gotten since they sent the return address. I had emailed this company to this email they provided on March 5th and got no response. I also have evidence of said instagram message which was sent on the 12th of March. My claims are completely true and i have sufficient evidence of such. Please sort this out! I had sent of my return a few days after February 14th. I have no information about this return and no refund has been provided!

However your review is factually incorrect and misleading as we replied to your return request query by email on the 14th of February outlining return instructions, address and our refund/returns policy to which we received no response. We have also checked our Instagram messages and you didn’t contact us via Instagram as you falsely claim. We most certainly have not ignored any correspondence from you and we don’t appreciate these false claims.

Please send us proof of return e.g. receipt from post office & or tracking number for your return shipment to support@thecasecave.ie as we are yet to receive any return from you to date. We’ll happily investigate this matter further for you. Without receipt of your returned item we cannot issue a refund.

Bad Customer Service

Unfortunately the product that I purchased, advertised for the Fitbit Versa 4 (the device I have) did not fit on arrival. I was unaware at the time and had disposed of the packaging (in fairness a ziplock bag, leaflet and business card) before I realised and The Case Cave would not refund as I did not have original packagind - BAD customer service and won't use again

The product you ordered was a charger for the Fitbit versa & versa lite. We have the list of compatible models within the product description which clearly states the charger you purchased isn’t for the Fitbit Versa 4.

As per our stores return & refund policy and any other stores return policy for that matter it is a standard requirement for any returned items to be returned within its original packaging and unused. As the item didn’t have its original packaging we wouldn’t be able to resell the item therefore we can’t accept your return.

We dispatched and shipped your order same day and also replied to your initial request to return the item (10 days after you purchased it) to no response. We also then sent you a follow up email after receiving this review to no response again. So we don't appreciate your unfair & untrue statement that we provided you with bad customer service.

Your reply on Trustpilot is factually incorrect. Remember you were (obviously) not present when I received and applied the product. I emailed the company on 8th January and you replied to my email only after I posted my review on Trustpilot. Your “50% discount should I choose to order a replacement and adjust my review accordingly” is unacceptable and coercive. In my opinion a company with good customer care would give their customer a refund, so to think I would buy any product from or recommend a company after the above defies belief.

We replied to this customers email with options to resolve the issue but received no response.

Customer incorrectly applied screen protector causing air bubbles to land on the adhesive side prior to placement of the screen protector. We have a detailed video tutorial on how to correctly apply our screen protectors on our website within the product description of the item in which the customer ordered.

As per our refund policy user error which causes air bubbles etc during incorrect application of any of our protective screen protector range isn’t covered. We accept no liability for incorrect usage of any of our products. Customer demanded a full refund which they aren’t entitled to as per our refund policy, hence the poor review.
