Horrible Experience, Would Not Recommend

I’m absolutely shocked by how poor our stay at The Waterfront Motel was. We stayed for two nights in a family room, and it was one of the worst experiences we've had. First off, the room was nothing like what we expected from the photos or the description. No wifi at all.

The sheets were stained and looked old, even though they were clean. The bathtub had black mold on the silicon joints, which is absolutely disgusting.

The curtains were dirty and stained, and the blinds were covered in dust, making it feel like a neglected, ancient room.

There was no A/C, which made it uncomfortable, and the bed felt like a trampoline—nothing close to what you’d expect from a place that claims to be a “family-friendly” motel.

The fans were outdated and not effective at all. We had to take showers at the beach because the bathroom was so unpleasant.

The room itself felt like it hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in years. To make matters worse, the motel was operated by what seemed to be a 14-year-old kid with no maturity or troubleshooting skills. When we approached him to explain the issues, he told us his parents didn’t speak English (which, if true, is an even bigger concern given they are running a business) and that he couldn’t do anything to help us. He wasn’t even apologetic.

We were told that no one complains, but trust me, if there had been availability at other places, we would’ve left after the first night. No one offered us any kind of resolution, refund, or even a basic apology. The customer service was nonexistent.

I don’t care what the location is like or what amenities they offer—if the place is as filthy, poorly managed, and unprofessional as this, it’s not worth staying. I wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone, and I certainly won’t be returning.
