The support ist so useless. It took longer than expected. The product is bugging a lot. Sometimes it doesn't even startup. It's by far not bright enough for work and the stand is useless.

I placed an order nearly two years ago and paid around €700, but I never received the product! Back then, the domain was portabl.com, which has a dismal 1.2 rating on Trustpilot (you can still find it with that name in Trustpilot). Since then, they've changed the company name and website.

I used to have an account showing my pending order, but a few months ago, they wiped out all old accounts. Now, I can't even log in, and my pending order has mysteriously disappeared.

To top it off, their support has completely ghosted me. No responses, no product, and no refund.

This site is very much a scam. It is a copy from portabl.com and slidenjoy... all of which I have had the same experience. I have been told for years now my monitor is coming, and they still insisted so in chat (I have all the transcripts) until they moved to this new platform which no longer responds to any queries. AVOID! It is a lot of money to risk and you are better off gambling it at a casino. Plenty of better products and brands out there!

Pre-ordered 2017, pain in full 2021. Nothing, no delivery or communication. Multiple contact attempts, same excuses. Supply lines etc. You are always promised soon, soon! but it never comes. They've changed their company name several times now to keep their reputation. I was polite as polite can be with them always, but now they've changed name again and this time DELETED MY ACCOUNT AND ORDER, that is the final straw. They are criminals plain and simple with zero honour. The one positive thing I can say about slidenjoy/le slide/portabl/portable-monitor is what great scamming thieves they are! 5 stars for that, I thought I was scam immune but they got me with a very professional looking website. none of the usual tell tale signs of fraud. taught me a lesson - always phone a new online retailer before you use them

It's definitely scam. I ordered since October 2019 and never get it. They are always have excuse and never refund.

I placed 2 orders for 2 monitors each in 2023, I kept getting the run around that they moved the factory and to be patient. After months of getting the run around I requested a refund for both orders, needless to say, I never received that either. The company is nothing but a scam. I have tried emailing them and now the emails bounce back as undeliverable. Does anyone of a phone number?

Total scammers! Avoid for any cost! Once you give them your money, you'll never see them again! And forget about getting any product - most of the time you'll either be ignored by client support, or they'll tell you to wait another 3-6 month. And they'll ignore you again.

THIS IS A SCAM. I BOUGHT MY MONITOR VIA IG ON 10/06 AND NEVER RECEIVED IT. THE COMPANY CHANGES NAME ALL THE TIME.

The most disappointing service ever. Company had my money for 8+ years. They keep changing their name… Slide n Joy, Le Slide, The Portable Monitor.

Customer service keeps promising a resolution within “a few months.” It’s been 8 years and I’m still waiting for a product. Avoid at all costs. Clearly a scam.

The product seems great, if you have a chance to receive it. I have been waiting for my purchase for three and a half years. Despite sending hundreds of emails, I always receive the same response: "Your order will be in the next batch." Why are you still taking new orders when you haven't fulfilled orders from 3-4 years ago? This is unacceptable.

They "finally" deleted my account (and my kickstarter order) after 5 years.
This is a total scam company, every year they change their website and name, i wouldnt buy a single screw from them.
For more information you can search for "slidenjoy", "portabl" and "leslide", these are all their old names.
When my account was still active i always had an order "pending" with the kickstarter price, but when i asked for informations their response was always the same: "we are waiting for the batch in production". This for 5 years! And now they are selling a product on amazon (i doubt they offer actual support over their products, if they are shipping). Stay away from them!

A total scam. Bought it Jan'23 and still have not received the product.

Have been investigating them and, as many other posts here state, it's a complete scam.

Think we should all try to get together and see what legal options we can find to investigate and prosecute the profiles behind this web.

I have been waiting for my monitor for several years. A few weeks ago, a Tom from The Portable Monitor approached me and promised to ship it soon.

The e-mail address from which the e-mail came no longer works. I never received the monitor

Totally fraudelent company web site, no client service, no contact, no delivery

100% a scam. Ordered back in August 2017 when they were on Kickstarter. Despite numerous contacts with them where they they promised I would hear back in the next few weeks each time, I never heard anything. They are absolute scammers and will continue to take money off people for as long as their site is allowed to be up. Latest site is https:// the-portable-monitor.co but they do change domains every so often, presumably when their negative reviews discourage anyone else ordering with them. They were previously called Slidenjoy then Portabl.

Voilà plus de 4 ans que j'attends d'être livré de mon écran. Au début, l'excuse des problèmes d'approvisionnement paraissait réelle. J'ai même eu le directeur général de l'entreprise au téléphone, qui m'a expliqué à quel point la situation était compliquée pour eux à cause de différends avec les partenaires chinois, qu'il n'était pas un escroc et qu'il allait s'assurer que je fasse partie du prochain batch de livraison... Je l'ai cru et j'ai relancé le support à intervalles réguliers pour avoir toujours et encore la même excuse...

Les plaintes sur les réseaux sont légion contre cette boîte, malgré ses changements de noms successifs (Slidenjoy, The Portable Monitor).

J'espère que grâce à nos messages, plus personne ne tombera dans le panneau de cette arnaque.

It's been over 4 years that I've been waiting for my screen to be delivered. At first, the excuse of supply chain issues seemed legitimate. I even spoke with the CEO of the company, who explained to me how complicated the situation was for them due to disputes with their Chinese partners, assured me that he was not a scammer, and promised that I would be part of the next delivery batch... I believed him and regularly followed up with customer support, only to receive the same excuse over and over again...

Complaints on social media are rampant against this company, despite its successive name changes (Slidenjoy, The Portable Monitor).

I hope that thanks to our messages, no one else will fall for this scam.

Still not delivered since 2015. I have backed this project when it was in kickstarter that year and I'm still waiting on my product.

I'm contacting the customer support every few months but they are constantly saying to wait and that the "the product is worth waiting"... After 8 years, the product has to be good because I'm loosing hope.

It's very frustrating because after several rebranding, I even lost the access to my account in their website, and still no news about my product.

Do not order anything. They are unable to deliver. Doubt product even exists.
They are a scam. Backed them on kickstarter. Got messages the product is ready to ship. Payed in full. Then one excuse after another. Rebranded twice meanwhile (LeSlide / Portabl). Wonder with what name they come up next.

After 7 (yes SEVEN) years still haven‘t received anything but E-Mails with excuses why they are delayed in delivering again and again. There are severeal groups on Facebook with hundreds of people that have ordered and payed years ago and got nothing so far.

Even the European consumer rights organization knows about them but as they are not a „court“ can‘t do anything against these guys.

Refrain from buying anything from these people.

Meanwhile the company has filed bankruptcy!
