I really recommend this service highly, Aphra is really thorough and gave me great advice and help with a tinnitus issue.
I have felt well looked after and very reassured, it's the gold standard for your ears!

I took my mum to see Aphra Baker at the Wellington shop. Aphra was so lovely and patient with mum trying hearing aids on. The difference the new aids made to mums life was fantastic and the smile when she put her aids in will stay with me forever.
I can’t thank Aphra enough the care and service we received was second to none and the hearing aids were also fantastic.

Sometimes in life your lucky enough to be assisted by someone who is not only truly competent in their job but who, also has a naturally engaging and empathic nature. To make the decision to have your ears tested is no mean feat. The apprehension can take over especially the thought of potential hearing loss and then the thought of a hearing aid. If you only do one nurturing thing for yourself this year, please take the time for yourself to book an appointment and have a hearing test. This will give you peace of mind, a tick in the box of something else sorted and it’s free which shocked me especially as the technology is lovey and sophisticated you don’t feel a thing. Ask for Aphra. She’s amazing. You won’t be disappointed.

My hearing in one ear has been noticeably worse for years, I put this down to aging and noise exposure listening to loud music in my youth, but I finally decided it was time to get my hearing tested and think about a hearing aid as speech was becoming difficult to discern.
I saw Aphra at Karen Boulten’s opticians in Wellington, Shropshire.
Aphra was amazing, she was so friendly and professional. She conducted the hearing tests thoroughly and she was extremely diligent!
She carried out all of the normal tests; a physical examination and the usual tests with sounds at different frequencies and volumes, but she also did a bone conduction test. She of course confirmed my significant hearing loss in the problem ear, which I was expecting, but I was surprised to hear the damage may not be permanent and could be resolved as the bone conduction test confirmed my hearing was still close to normal, meaning the nerves may not be damaged after all, instead of the expected hearing aid discussion Aphra decided to send a letter to my GP for an ENT referral, and as she promised I also received a copy in the post a couple of days later.
Aphra could not have done more, I was really impressed by the service, I would certainly recommend Aphra and The hearing care partnership.
Best of all the hearing test was free, so if anyone in our area has a hearing problem, don’t suffer for years as I did, book an appointment The hearing care partnership asap!

I made an appt with Aphra at the Wellington clinic after having no use at my drs regarding tinnitus and aural fullness. After a full hesring assessment, she wrote a letter to my drs to help get a referral to the ENT. I feel like my years of suffering were finally listened to with Aphra, all the staff at the branch were exceptionally polite and helpful. I will be forever grateful for the help I received there.

After a recent spike in ringing, I had a free tinnitus consultation with Aphra. I have had multiple ENT appointments around my tinnitus with the NHS, and this free consultation was better and more informative than any other diagnosis I have had.

Aphra was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, helping to put my mind at ease. She administered a hearing test and explained the results in easy to understand terms, as well as framing them in relation to my tinnitus.

She went above and beyond, writing to my doctor to recommend me to a tinnitus specialist, as well as providing me with the contact details to ACS, to help get me fitted for custom ear plugs, as I noted some discomfort with my current ones. She also gave me a handy leaflet about tinnitus that was informative, even for a long time sufferer

Tinnitus is a condition that is heavily tied to anxiety, and immediately after leaving my appointment, I felt so much more at ease with my recent spike. Aphra diffused a lot of my concerns with her personal anecdotes and professional experience. To anyone on the fence about getting an appointment, I'd highly recommend it, you have everything to gain and nothing to lose!

I had made an appointment with Aphra at the Wellington branch. I have to say that the whole experience was very professional from the outset and clearly with a deep knowledge of the subject matter displayed by Aphra
Each section was explained fully to me in a manner that I understood.
I had several questions which again were answered in a way that made me settle and at ease

I have to say she was very professional and made feel very relaxed, Aphra was very thorough with all the ear tests I can’t thank her enough and I would highly recommend her, I would give 10 ⭐️ if I was allowed.

The whole process was very smooth and the service was fantastic.
