I had a disappointing experience at a…

I had a disappointing experience at a restaurant in Maida Vale on Saturday. The service was poor, particularly from a rude man who served us. There was no Breakfast Tea available, and when we asked for chili oil, we were given just a tiny teaspoon on a small dish, whilst another table had a full selection of chilli condiments.

We also had issues with pricing. My friend ordered multiple dishes, but we didn’t order alcohol due to previous issues with being overcharged for drinks. To top it off, there’s a 12% service charge, but the service didn’t reflect that.

The food was underwhelming: the Thai green duck curry was too salty, the sea bass lacked flavour , and the rice with bamboo shoots and chicken wasn’t served hot. I suggest they bring back the friendly young waitress who was great – unlike the unhelpful, unfriendly man serving us. I regret dining here and won’t be returning.
