I run a double glazing company. We have been going through absolute hell with Teya. Payments to us are constantly blocked by there fraud team. Due to the large amounts being paid to us. We got a payment that has not been cleared for over 4 weeks. To top that of they have now temporaly suspended our account. No wages can be paid no suppliers can be paid. Will be contacting our legal support today. Please stay well clear from them. They will be the reason my business goes under!!!!

Please do not use this company, I have had nothing but problems, I have had all my money taken fraudulent, they have not helped I am still waiting 8 weeks later, and there is still people trying to take money out of account. They do nothing, I have never received a bank card from them and have ordered 4, please go with a trusted bank that your money is protected with , it’s nearly cost us our business and left us in a lot of debt, hope this helps someone and not a victim like me

Very honest review regarding Try balance and my sign up to Teya. All seemed to go okay and Zak and Aimee from try balance helped immensely with the sign up and subsequent issues. I did feel the identity checks were a tad tiresome and lengthy. Got car finance easier and unfortunately they held my money till verified, not a massive issue. Also had issues with accessing the app and these only got resolved with input from my Try balance representative after best part of two weeks were I couldn't access the app. Now sorted though. Machine is great and next day payments always in my account early doors. Looking to see how reports turn out for simplicity and filing of tax return. All in all an acceptable service and I have and will continue to recommend them to other sole traders. I was offered lower rates of commission fees elsewhere but felt this company offered better value for money. Hopefully I get them reviewed after a few months.

The rates I got are extremely competitive. The machines are modern and easy to use. The app is excellent and has real time sales info. The feature of the business account is good, especially offering cash back when used to purchase things.

Very helpful immediate feedback, easy to understand i.e. speaking English staff appear to be highly trained in customer care.
The people I’ve dealt with have so far been excellent.
And as a point of interest a lot of the people you deal with in this industry are what I call (sales prevention officers )
who should consider giving up their day job. 🧐😂
I connected with Lynn, who was instantly friendly and welcoming. Lynn knew her stuff and just radiated with positive energy over the phone and was clearly passionate about Teya. Lynn knew all the required information and was able to clearly help me navigate through set up. So pleased!
I have had previous discomfort creating accounts elsewhere, but with the guidance of Lynn, I managed to enquire, sort and order a brand new card and terminal within an hour! Honestly, I couldn’t recommend Teya more, not just for the incredible customer service, but the ease of the application.

Not Recommended, they hold your fund for no reasons
I recently moved to Teya from Barclaycard. The first month was great, but now I’m in my second month and Teya has been holding my funds for almost two weeks for “verification.”
They don’t provide a clear explanation of what they’re actually looking for, and every few days they get back in touch asking for additional documents. When you contact customer service, they’re unable to give any meaningful advice and won’t transfer you to a manager.
This is the downside of not working with a proper provider.

The connection is not good at all. We keep losing the connection while a payment is been processed.

Very disappointed with Teya. My business account was suddenly placed “under review” and they are holding my money for 180 days with no proper explanation.
Customer support refuses to provide any real details and just repeats that it’s part of “routine compliance checks.” Meanwhile, my funds are locked and I cannot access money that belongs to my business.
This has created serious cash flow problems. Holding a small business’s money for six months without transparency is unacceptable.
If you are considering using Teya for payments, be very careful. Based on my experience, this company can freeze your account and keep your money for a long time without clear communication.
I would not recommend Teya to other businesses
