This is a 1st class company.I sent some unwanted gold using their prepaid tracked envelope and within 3 days I’d had the valuation and the money paid into my account.I was very happy with the valuation and the ease of selling my unused jewellery.Recommend them.

Have to say the actual process was very smooth and painless. However: Had a bag of gold and sliver knew roughly what it weighed and what gold it was , sent it off , got a phone call offering me £280 (I knew 1 item was worth this alone) refused the offer and they upped it straightaway to £480! Refused asked for the gold to be sent back which it was promptly and went to a local shop in Scotland , offered £1250! I know people need to make money and appreciate that however the 2 offers were scandalous and preying on people who need cash quick. Research your local cash for gold places and go in person would be my advise

I didn't have much to send and even expected to be charged for them to return the items to me as they weren't really worth much. However, I found the experience very positive. Received the pre-paid envelope quickly, sent off my three or four items and was pleased to receive a call a couple of days later with an offer. I hadn't expected much but it was better than I'd hoped for and I was pleased to have some cash rather than the items sitting in a drawer gathering dust. I could choose how to have the money paid and chose bank transfer. The money was in my bank quickly after I'd given my details and I would definitely recommend this company. Service excellent and staff very pleasant over phone.

It was very simple to use, I requested a bag it came within a day or two. I put some old gold jewellery in it not expecting much for it, but about a day later I got a call back and was pleasantly surprised at how much I was offered. I agreed with the amount gave my bank details and within about 15 minutes it was in my account. The lady that called me was very pleasant and as she said the money was in my bank account very quickly.
I would recommend this company if you are having a clear out even if you think it’s probably not worth the effort I would say it definitely is.

I never thought anything could be so easy and quick !!!! It only took 48hrs before I received the pack, the very next day after posting i received a notification to say it had arrived and by the afternoon an offer, literally 6 hours after I accepted i received the money in my account. Couldn't recommend enough, thankyou.

It was simple, I was apprehensive, but trusted the process, followed the directions on documents, pack the pieces in the padded envelope provided, sealed it and took to Post Office, got my receipt for the tacked delivery and the next day got the offer, filled direction on the text, sent my details and recieved payment the next day. Smooth and easy process.

The process was so easy to navigate
Order the envelope for sending to them arrived next day ( Monday-Thursday) but Friday arrived on a Monday
Form Enclosed with the envelope just needed number of items and signature and date to fill in
No postage to pay at post office
Phone call to tell me the valuation amount by Evelina and on acceptance money paid into my account within the hour

after hearing the adverts on the radio & reading the reviews we decided to give text gold a try as we had nothing to lose as our jewellery would be returned if we didn’t accept their offer. Posted from Aberdeen 4pm on the Thursday & received a call on Friday morning with an offer!! I must admit I was a bit wary on what we would do when we received the offer if it was lower than we expected but the offer was FAR better than we expected for gold/silver jewellery that was either broken or never worn & our money was in our account as soon as I was off the phone to them!!! Would thoroughly recommend this company

I have rated this experience as 1 star in the hope that people will read this. We sent approx 57g of tangled chains, bent bracelets, single earrings and other bits. 14days later, after 2 calls to them they made an offer of £456. Rejected. Next offer £560. Rejected. Advised that scrap gold price was almost £27/gram. Told them we would accept £1000. 5mins later we were offered £1000. Still lower than scrap value but there will be a little bit of waste so that was fine. If sending, spend a few quid on cheap digital scales from Amazon (less than £20), check the scrap price at the time of sending and don't accept anything less than 75%-80% of the actual value. It's really easy to work out, and if mental arithmetic isn't your thing, I'm sure your phone has a calculator. Hope this helps out at least 1 person.
