I live in Sweden. I am the executor for my brother who passed away in US. I had arranged a mobile subscription to be able to stay in touch with authorities, banks, and others in USA regarding various matters. But the operator I had arranged stopped its operations. With Tether I was able to move the number to Tether without traveling to US to get a new international roaming.

I got in touch with Joey at Tether, and he was so helpful and arranged for my number to be moved to Tether, and I can now receive messages to my email.
I can now get my SMS messages into my email without having international roaming.

I imagine it's so practical in many situations in your life and business. You very often need SMS conversations into your email when you want to continue the conversation in email, because of easier to write in email and need attachments. When you're abroad and don't have roaming, you need it. You can also share your messages at work with your colleagues to give faster service to your customers. There are so many situations when it's needed and also so practical when messages and email are the main tools in today's communications.

On so many occasions I have had no option but to pay for a full day of exorbitant international roaming fees just to get a single bank/CC verification code on my phone when I’m travelling. I’ve used Tether while living in SE Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines), while visiting Hong Kong, and in Canada with absolutely no issues. I like it enough that I recently even ported in a previous phone number of mine to keep access to, as occasionally former colleagues or clients of mine try to contact me at that number. Price seems fair for the product and I like that I don’t have to install another app. Curious to see what other features they add in the future. Overall would highly recommend.
