I love the cleverness of our tent box
I love the cleverness of our tent box. It feels very safe, strong and secure. It's comfortable, cosy and has so many windows. This means you get fresh air and sunlight in and see the beautiful countryside during the day and then at night, either star gaze through the top windows or have complete blackout. I've never slept better. Loving it ♥️

Cool Bananas, Cool Tentbox Lite XL
Really loving our Tentbox Lite XL and the Dog loves the king-size bed too.
Had a few issues with Tunnel Awning filling with heavy rain, but realised we could mitigate against this by dropping the poles, dropping one pole slightly or using a extendable cloths prop with tennis ball to push up in middle. (First World problems really)
The actual Tent was superb in heavy rain.
I did notice that sometimes I hadn't pushed the Fly sheet bendy rods in far enough into the frame, so to avoid them springing out by mistake, I marked them with red electrical tape once fully inserted for future reference. Also the rain drip grommets installed on the bendy rods kept getting pulled off when taking out the bag. My solution was more electrical tape, blue this time, wrapped around the bendy rod to stop them pulling off.
Other small modifications included the pet steps that attach to the ladders. Admittedly they're not from Tentbox but when climbing up and down they tended to roll around the steps which felt a bit unsafe. My solution here was to stick small velcro pads on the ladders and on back of original velcro straps to assist in the grip. Also, I fitted some rubber self-amalging tape around the centre of each step so the securing buckle pulls tight and digs in.

Highly recommend
After a slightly disappointing start….we bought the Tentbox from the Castle Coombe showroom (Roof Box). We had planned to buy the Tentbox and have it fitted there and then, but there was an issue our van roof. We paid for the Tentbox and roof bars and made an appointment to have it all fitted in a couple of weeks, when the roof issue was sorted. When we went for this appointment, Roof Box, where we bought the Tentbox had accidentally sold the Tentbox we had bought (in Forest Green). They also had no record of our appointment.
We came away with a black/grey colour and have had a couple of super trips in it. It’s easy to assemble. Very comfy to sleep in. Nice and airy. Warm and cosy. I’ve been recommending to friends!

Cargo 2.0 ladder issue
I was having trouble closing the ladders on my cargo 2.0 having tried all the recommended fixes it wouldn't fully retract. I reached out to tentbox and was contacted by Ella who without hesitation arranged for a new set of ladders to be sent to me due to it being an obvious safety issue. Hey Kai!!!! Thank you soo much for your quick professional and friendly help! We were a bit unsure and wanted to double check some information with a real person.
