Good but seems a total waste of money as it has generated no trade so far, no info available on how many people have seem the profile so it is like throwing cash in a dark hole and crossing fingers

Cannot fault setting Mobile set up, very helpful ,lots of promises about potential customer hits but actually none to date, If you want a better advertising experience go to Gumtree £6.00 for two months. Lots of referrals .

Using Telnames was a fast, easy way to increase mobile marketing of our company. The ability to include Pictures, a video, presentation and many other features made our Telnames domain a fast method of viewing our Company and Products on the latest Mobile Technology. Great value for money.

A complete waste of money will not renew would like a full refund

.tel is excellent value for money very easy to setup and use, and the customer service team are very helpful with any questions and sorting out problems

When explained to me, this offer sounded too good to be true! They were offering me a service at an initial £9.99 for the year, that my website host had quoted me £35 a month!
Anyway, I went with it and it blew me away- quick, easy, professional looking AND so cheap. I wish I'd known sooner.

If you're looking to get a mobile website, this is a fantastic solution, its as professional looking as it gets, you dont need to hire designers, you can edit the info very easily and the price is superb!

I heard about telnames from one of our suppliers, had a look at the website, thought 'that sounds like a good deal' and within a few hours our .tel website was up and running. It looks great! We're using it as a mobile-friendly introduction to our guest house. It's got all the basics that people need to know. However, I can see some small businesses not needing a conventional website at all but just using a .tel.

Was looking for a telname to link to my website and didn't know where to start. A couple of phone calls and e-mails later it's up and running! But with a slight glitch. That was sorted over the weekend thanks to some great out-of-hours commitment from the support team!

When signing up to this I asumed there would be some sort of outthere advertisements, but noone seems to have heard of telnames, so who will see my business on it ..Or am I misssing the point ?

Easy to set up and work with no issues, does what it says on the tin.

I have 4 .tel sites . one for each of my Coffee Shops and a generic one.
It was easy to set up, very cheap to own, great for getting a mobile ready website up and running in minutes.
I can update it on the go direct from my iPhone using the mobile app, so if i need to set up a promotion or coupon I can do it from anywhere.
They keep improving the capability all the time as well.
It helps with my Google rankings and local search results as the shop ones have a place name in.

As a web design agency we were looking for a mobile site company after one we had used went out of business so I followed up an email we got from tel names. We have 5 domains with them so far and haven't had any problems so we hope to get more of our customers to have a mobile site as the prices make it affordable for any serious business to offer this service for their customers where ever they are. Beside which you could find some new customers who find your mobile site so what's not to like about that. Peter@cottagewebs

Unfortunately I have paid for this and never once been able to find it. which is a shame.

I recently signed up to telenames so that my B&B & all that it offers could be found easily on a smart phone search. My page is clear, easy to read & hopefully stands out. The whole process was so simple, an 'idiot' guide style form to fill in, background colours to choose, or your own photo, in my case a picture of the house on a sunny day-obviously! The price, an offer for FSB users was the huge sum of £5.00, even full price it's less than £20.00, compared to other sites, which recently offered me exactly the same thing, but..... to the tune of £90.00, plus VAT-eek! So just a suggestion but why not check out telenames & put your business on there too, we all need as much publicity as we can get in todays economic climate & it's excellent value for money, check it out!!
