The little company that prioritized customers has caved. For the most part, other than the occasional internet outage or modem issue over the past decade, things were pretty good...until they hiked... See more

GARBAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Like many other reviews if I could give zero or negative stars I would. After only having my services for five weeks, I decided to cancel because the Internet service was terrible. Had to ask for a return label twice by email then had to call to only have six days to send the modem back instead of the regular 30 to 45 days so now I have been charged for the modem and it was sent to AIM collections. Tried calling customer service they admitted that I didn’t get an auto generated email stating the return policy. Was told by a customer service representative that I was a liar that I had received the return labels and just didn’t send back. Disgusting customer service.
The Worst Company
After wasting my time. Now, they’ve asked me for the device return WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED!!! The audacity of this people to later send an updated about the device delivery to be scheduled TODAY (after three weeks of canceling the service appointment without notice) PLEASE DONT WASTE YOU TIME OR MONEY IN THIS AWFUL COMPANY.
Horrible Service
Have had this ISP for ~7 years now and I can confidently say it is the worst ISP I have ever had and would not recommend anyone use their services. From constant internet dropping to utterly useless support, there's not a single redeeming quality. Its not like they're cheap either! So you dont save money anyways. We're finally swapping and I couldn't be happier.
Dont sign up just for the price
Price was what had me sign up with Teksavvy, but the service is the reason i left. I had Teksavvy for 14 months and made three different attempts to work with their tech support department to figure out why the latency on my connection was so poor. It got so bad, that i was completely unable to work from home or do any internet gaming, even though my connection was supposed to be a 100Mb low latency cable connection.
I finally ran out of patience and moved to another provider.
BOO!
My internet isn't working and teksavvy called me and said the technician would be here and to be home from 8-5. I did so, and no one showed up. When I called, and spoke to a Supervisor, I was told it was a suggestion, and I would not be getting an appointment for 5 more days. This company cannot fix any of their service problems because the rent lines from larger companies. Conflicting answers from Customer service agents. Do not advise this company if you work from home.
Teksavvy The worst internet service…
Teksavvy The worst internet service I’ve ever experienced — extremely slow speeds, frequent outages, and the most unprofessional and rude customer service I’ve ever encountered.
VERY IMCOMPETENT
VERY IMCOMPETENT
Could not even make a payment online and agents have no idea what they are telling you. One agent literally rolled out of bed and answered the call.
Had the nerve to say my card was declining but bank confirmed no payment came through from TekSavvy.
Disgusting customer service and fraudulent services advertised.
Never Again
Had TS internet for 3 years and never had an issue UNTIL I moved to a new residence. I submitted a request well in advance to move the service to my new address, with the promise that we could simply plug it in and connect on the activation date. Unfortunately we were unable to connect, so I reached out to support and was told to wait for the next morning. The next morning, I called again and was told to keep waiting because it could take up to 48 hours to connect. Disappointing, but okay. 48 hours later, still no Internet.
After 2 WEEKS of reaching out daily for support and receiving no help, conflicting information, and false promises of technicians coming to the house (who never arrived), finally we cancelled our service and switched to different provider, who had us up and running in a 10 minute visit.
After cancelling, we shipped both modems back to TekSavvy (the original, and a replacement they had sent to rule out damage). This week, I was charged for damage to the original modem, despite it operating exactly the same as the replacement they had sent. Of course, trying to get information about the damage and the charge has led nowhere, with no response from the shipping team.
Horrible experience. Never again.
Internet provider just there to take money off your back
Services are very expensive for what it is, as it depends too much on bell network. So there is nothing they can do for slowness and cuts.
Customer service is good, until you unsubscribe.
If you send your device back with few paint stains, you can be charge 200$ even if the device is still working.

I've been with Teksavvy for a little while. I called them to make make payment over the phone and I think the woman shut off my service bc I had to re enter all my my info again. I called customer service and they had no idea what they were doing. Instead I get put on hold several times listening to such god awful music..I have had enough shes supposed to be tech support whats with this hold every 3 min. I'm not impressed.
Terrible decision to use this provider
Terrible decision to use this provider. Waited days for a modem and days for activation and since then (8 days) have not had any consistent working wifi, will work for an hour a day and even calling multiple times for help consistently being told to wait 24-72 hours to see if someone can resolve it. Such a waste of time and money. Don’t do it.
Don't have internet just problems
I dont even have internet up and running with this company and have already ran into problems. First of all they couldn't find our address so we had to spend an hour driving out to get thr modem. Then after plugging it in, we realize something isn't working and we need a technician. I called, but I've been getting the run around for a couple days now. When I call they say they are working on it... now they have a technician coming in a couple days. So in total it's been almost 2 weeks since Im supposed to have internet and haven't received anything. I had to call in order to even know someone was going to come, I haven't gotten any updates from their end. Just annoying to deal with and if I had the funds Ide probably just cancel my account and go with someone else. Not a great experience.

Ended up cancelling after 4days because of poor service. They dropped the ball and I spent 6 hours total over2 days waiting for a technician that never showed

Today I had the please of speaking to Jonathan at Teksavvy as I have a mini phone that wasn’t taking 5g so Jonathan fixed that problem with ease and was so polite and easy to talk to. He listened and explained exactly what he was doing. Thank you again
We had a outage today by Rogers
We had a outage today by Rogers - Teksavvy in our area uses the infrastructure of Rogers. I have no use for Rogers but my service provider for the past 20+ years has been Teksavvy. Any time I have a problem I would call them and they are always willing to assist until the problem is resolved and if it can't be resolved right away they always call back. Today I was in touch with Jessica and she and I worked through a problem that appeared to be unsolvable but she held steady and we got back into service. Thank you Jessica!!!
I should have cancelled on Day One
I should have cancelled on day one. I contacted TEKSAAVY early in 2024 for internet services. The "installer" was very rude to my wife (whom he clearly treated as a second class citizen as she is from South Asia - as was he). She was so upset that she phoned me and I heard him still treating her badly. He began doing so with me until I spoke, and then realizing that I am an English First Language speaker, changed his tone. I told him to leave and that I did not want their service. I spoke to TekSaavy support. They apologized and said they would send a more senior person. They did, and he left without properly connecting the modem up, expecting my wife to figure it out. I spoke to TekSaavy support. They apologized. Promised to compensate us (comped service). They never did. By the time it was connected and up, was weeks later. I finally cancelled the service as we were going to be away for two months. Many months later I was contacted by (what is now) "AIM Professional Services" (a collection agency - nice people to deal with) saying that I owed over $300 to TekSaavy. Supposedly TekSaavy sent email (two of them) six months plus after I cancelled asking for the modem back. I told AIM that I'd gladly send it back, but needed details. They told me that it was too late, that I had to send it back within 30 days. They asked me to contact TekSaavy. I did. The person I spoke with did not care about how I was treated, and told me I could keep the modem (as if I could use it with any other company) and that I had to pay for it. I explained what had happened. I did not get an email from them. He did not care, said I was supposed to send it back via Canada Post within 30 days and started to argue with me. I finally got fed up and told him off. I spoke to a lady at AIM in May and she asked me to send an email with the details, (which I did) and said that she would explain the situation to TekSaavy. Today I got a call and text from AIM. I spoke to the same lady again who said that she had the email and would try to speak to TekSaavy again today to negotiate. Feras from AIM called me back and said that TekSaavy was not interested in any negotiation. TekSaavy is an unethical company. I dealt with them years ago. They took my money and did not even set up my internet service. I (foolishly) decided to try again. DO NOT sign up with them.
Paid, signed up, never got service
Signed up after seeing their transparent pricing seemed reasonable. Got our modem and was told that the service will be set up when we receive our hardware. After receivinf the modem, they blamed the provider for not provisioning the account after 3 days, no one would escalate the issue and everytime we called we had to want "24 hours" to get an answer.
Got fed up, went straight to Shaw/Rogers, got a modem in store and internet worked that *same* say for cheaper price and faster bandwidth.
Don't bother with teksavvy. Go straight to the source and you'll get better service and more reliability.
Was told our service would be activated…
Was told our service would be activated July 8th, received the modem but the service was not activated because of their vendor. We have contacted support 6-8 times during this time as we aren't getting updates, and they wouldn't escalate the issue for us and told us to "just continue waiting", every time we call, we have to wait another 24 hours for answers. Ended up cancelling in the end to find a more reliable service provider.

Today I called to perhaps cancel my service as my yearly promotion has ran out and the price has increased.. I spoke to a lovely agent by the name of Erica.. I explained to her the nature of my call.. She checked her options and maybe an offer I could not refuse. Having said that Erica went over and beyond my expectations, and I've signed up for another year. With this company.. I've had no issues with internet whatsoever.. Thank you Erica for your awesomeness.
