The little company that prioritized customers has caved. For the most part, other than the occasional internet outage or modem issue over the past decade, things were pretty good...until they hiked... See more

Awful, don't do it.
Just signed up with Tech Savvy last month. Awful. Internet has been down 7 days of 30. Call centre people are nice, but takes days to get a technician out. Had one come out, fixed a filter, internet down again the next day. Called again, had to wait 2 days, internet started working so service call was cancelled and ticket closed. Internet stopped working after a few hours, now have to wait another 2 days. Very very painful. I don't even need great internet, just need it to work for browsing.
Sadly it feels like you have to pay and arm and a leg for internet in this country, you try and get a deal and this is what you end up with.
On the verge of cancelling again now, crawling back to Bell. At least their service worked 24/7/365. One more chance I guess.

Beware people on a fixed income
Good service but I'm on a fixed income I moved to a area that didn't have them so I had to cancel them. I am in a wheelchair on ODSP so no room to move on finances. Before 30 days they debited my account on the 1st for the modem. So I rushed and sent the modem back at first they said they had to check the modem then they said I would get a full refund for 3 days. On the 3rd day I called and they said the modem was damaged so no refund. They wouldn't give me proof just kept my money. So they are making it hard to eat this month

I started service this company and had Many problems getting connected but once they got a technician to my house they were able to fix the problem. I work from home so I need internet service. This company suddenly cut my service on week day an then ask to me prepay for month before I could get my service reconnected. Knowing that I had no choice but to prepay because I needed to work. This company is not what it seems, when something is to good's to be true it usually is stick with regular providers don't put your self at risk. I put my job on the line and now I have to find new provider in the middle of my work week. Stay away for own good.

I like how I read these comments from teksavy saying sorry but yet it's still happening to the new customers. That is some B.S .
If you got the box do they give full refund if you cancel and still have no internet from them?

Absolute clowns
Absolute clowns! Home internet installation service booked last night that never showed with no reason given. Rescheduled for today but also never showed. Customer service have no answers and didn't seem to care that I cancelled.

No Hassle
No hassle with TekSavvy. Always have a promotion going on, although I would love to see a better deal on their promotional deals.

I'm very happy with my service with you no problems no interruptions 5 stars
Good service for a reasonable price.
Excellent commitment to the customer
So far yall have stood behind your products and services. Although, trying to get a replacement fiber optic modem was more trouble than it needed to be, it got done. I totally understand that people rellace them when it isnt necessary and they cost a pretty penny. No issues since. Prices are nice too, it was a good choice for us to switch from Cogeco.

Awful service and customer service
Awful service and customer service. Awful service and customer service I called in because I am not getting range 12 feet away from my modem. Their suggestion is I go buy $100 Wi-Fi extender that’s their only suggestion. I said well I might as well switch companies and they said OK. You get what you pay for the customer service is absolutely awful. Don’t expect any kind of respect or kindness from these people, oh and don’t expect any range on your Wi-Fi either

Dragged me along for a week
I applied online for installation and a worker called me back. We both selected a time for an engineer to install, choosing the 17th of Oct, and the modem arrives the on the night before. I called on the 17th when no engineer arrived and was then told that there was an issue and we would have to wait for confirmation. I call everyday to enquire if the issue is fixed, this continues everyday for a week before today Teksavy telling me that there services are not available in my building. This has been an absolute waste of my time, the next proposed date to get installed from a competitor is now another 7 days away

Outages/ customer service
This is probably the worst internet provider I’ve ever had. Internet outages constantly, customer service doesn’t help you at all , just say unplug it and plug it back in and it still won’t work. It will randomly start working a couple hours later. If you work from home, I’d go else where
Worst customer service ever!!
Worst customer service ever!!! Been two days with no internet…… we switch from Oxio to TekSavvy and were told to call or email when our current provider was cancelled and they would hook up our new service….. they tried hooking it up before we were disconnected from Oxio so now they claim they are waiting on Roger’s to do the hookup….. lost thousands in online business sales due to no internet….. they basically said oh wel we have to wait for Roger’s….. why a joke of a company….. go elsewhere for internet service!!
Hardly ever have working internet
Didn’t expect outstanding internet service from a third party provider, but I have had internet for a week now and been able to use it maybe twice - with only one device connected. Reached out for assistance and basically got told they’d get back to me and send a tech out. So far no word, and I’ve paid for internet for a week I’ve barely been able to use. Not worth the discounted price when the service is this terrible. I will be fighting to end my contract with TekSavvy.
clearly they NEED the money
I have been asking Teksavvy to send me bills for a few years now- they have not done this
i missed a payment of 59$
they have shut off my internet and are charging me 100$ to turn it back on
I wasn't aware the company suffered that much for money!!
I have been a customer for over 10 years and this is the terrible treatment they offer- I will be changing to a different company
Not happy with the service
Not happy with the service. Frustrating the service went down every single day. Then the modem decided to catch on fire it was smoking, almost had a fire in our apartment. We canceled the service they sent out another modem which is useless, since we switched internet provider. Useless company
A COMPANY STUCK IN AN OUTDATED CS MODEL
Honestly, don't go with Teksavvy company. They rely on other providers to activate your service. The outcome of this arrangement I've come to realize is an unpredictable installation date.
For instance, I was quoted October 15, 2024, however, it is now October 17th (day three without internet), and Teksavvy acknowledges they have no idea when it will be connected.
While this company is cheap, there are likely better alternatives. I would NOT recommend them at this point.
It is worth pointing out there are no customer service gestures to make up for the profound issues this has created - no discount, no nothing. Just .... sorry?
MOVE ON - FIND A DIFFERENT CARRIER.

TekSavvy unwilling to listem to…
TekSavvy unwilling to listen to customer and take ownership of the problem they created, Instead, it keep pointing the finger at their vendor (Rogers). TekSavvy sent me a new modem, the old modem was no longer going to be in service in the new year. My internet was working fine. I replaced the hardware as instructed by Teksavvy, the internet problems began. Talked to customer support on the phone, reset this, do that, the usual waste of time to no avail. I was asked to wait 24 hours, if the problem persisted to call them back. Called them back, reset this, do that....more waste of time. "We'll have to send a technician". In spite of my protests saying the problems began atter a change in hardware...Rogers cancelled the technician visit because the line didn't show any downtime, TekSavvy did not notified me the appointment was cancelled... A couple of years ago when they changed the service from a Bell dry line to Rogers Cable there was the same problems right away with the new hardware, terrible intermittent connection. Called Teksavvy, reset the modem, do this, do that...off course it didn't fix anything. The very first Rogers technician who came to check the cable, said "this modem model is terrible, tell Teksavvy to send you a different modem", I relayed the information to Teksavvy, they refused to replace the modem. After 3 months and 4 Rogers technician's visits later, Teksavvy finally agreed to replace the modem, Unfortunately, they sent the same modem model, it didn't fix the issue. So, another Roger technician visit later and me asking them to send a different type of modem, it took Teksavvy 4 months in total, a different type of modem (Smart RG) solved the problem. Now, I am once again having issues with hardware change. Twice they scheduled a Roger technician and twice the visit was declined because of no downtime with the line. I agree with Rogers, the problem is with the Hitron CODA modem. Oct.15 update. Sent 3 emails, no reply from TekSavvy, called them again. They are sending me another modem (unfortunately the same brand). Oct 21 update, new modem and no change in service, I continue to have intermittent connection. If anyone reading this. No follow up from TekSavvy, I'll have to call them again as they haven't reply to any of my emails.
