Teklynx Codesoft has always been a great favourite with us for years, we have used the top enterprise versions for many years. Been with them since the Labelview days.
I have always recommended it to many others, would've given it 5 stars plus.
Perfect for SQL and formulating.
We are one of the most intensive complex users of labelling, dealing with all major high street names and are a 1P supplier to Amazon. Designing through our erp systems in many instances.
However the latest update we have done for W11 is extremely disappointing, and considering the very high price for Codesoft I would not expect to have to buy a licence on top (that's limited as well !) for every single printer we use that goes through an API call.
We have 120 printers !
This is principally so very wrong, I'm guessing just an unnecessary extra charge someone thought of adding on to just increase profit margin.
In my case I've already removed the vast majority of printers to other software and I'll be looking to move next time completely to another software if they continue to charge.
Well done to whoever came up with idea, hope they got a bonus.

Being an intensive complex user, we are the only professional company in the space that does not license ALL of our software per printer. We only charge a per printer fee when it is being used to print in an automated fashion.
Many of our other partners who built apps around CODESOFT have used this as an opportunity to do things better. At TEKLYNX we offer a variety of ways to automate printing and CODESOFT with the API printing method, while highly functional, is the hardest to manage. SENTINEL is a highly robust server based automation tool. Our SDK can be put in place of CODESOFT with the API's with minimal changes to your code.
